I want to get rid of the corrections to my typing and select my own preferred languages.  I didn't find the place where these two settings are possible.

On my iPad mini, french french seems to be the desired language so that when I type in English I get completely inappropriate suggestions for the correction of the words.

This happens throughout my mini iPad on all applications.

My daughter is constantly changing (if all goes well, she learned her lesson) the password on his iPad Mini 2. Needless to say that the iPad is now disabled. WiFi is disabled on the iPad, so I can't use iCloud / #find to clear the iPad.

The iPad says: "connect to iTunes".

So they themselves reference each other. The first time I plugged the iPad to the computer he did a backup and synchronization, as well as download the latest update (iOS 9.1) for the iPad, but neither would allow me to unlock the iPad, and now I get the errors above with no sync/backup.

I put the iPad in recovery mode and iTunes asks me if I want to update and restore, when I say yes it gives the following error: "iPad"iPad"could not be updated. This device is not eligible for the requested build. »

Any help? Yet once again, the DFU mode AND recovery do not work, WiFi is off so find iPhone does not work.

    Hi RubyBlu,

I see you're posting here because your iPad mini Apple Support communities is having problems to connect to your home Wi - Fi network. You talked about since someone at the Apple Store that you said to try to restore your device using iTunes, but you can't not to disable find my iPad to be able to do. I know it's important to be able to connect to the Wi - Fi at home, and I'm happy to help with this.

As a first step, I recommend take a look on this website and perform these steps in the order, if you have not tried them already:

If your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch connects to a Wi - Fi - Apple Support network

If you are still looking to restore your device to factory settings, I'd recommend double-checking to make sure that you have a current backup of first. This is a resource for that if you need a refresher on how to create a back up:
The backup of your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch - Apple Support

Before you can restore your iPad, you need to follow the instructions here to disable find it my function for your iPad:

Delete a Mac or iOS device on which you can not disable Find My iPhone

If you can't disable find my iPhone on the device, turn off the unit so it will Disconnect, then remove of Find My iPhone on iCloud.com.

Note: You can also delete your iOS device by clearing the first - just follow the instructions below to remove an iOS device, you do not have. You can later restore the device of an iCloud or iTunes backup.

    1. Turn off the device you want to remove.

    2. Go to find my iPhone on iCloud.com.

If you don't find my iPhone on iCloud.com, your account has fair access to the web features only iCloud. To access find my iPhone and other iCloud features, set up on your device iOS or Mac iCloud.

    3. Click on all devices, select the device offline, then click on delete account.

If you don't see a delete account, click again on all devices, and then click the Delete button next to the device.

If the device comes online again, it reappears in find my iPhone. If your device again, turn off find my iPhone on the device (follow the instructions above to remove a device by disabling Find My iPhone), or if it is an iOS device and you no longer, follow the instructions below to remove an iOS device, you no longer have.

iCloud: remove your device, Find My iPhone

When you have selected "Delete account", you should be able to restore the device normally using iTunes.

    Take care!

  • internet connection problem iPad mini

    Hi dridley,
I understand that you have problems with getting your iPad mini connected to the internet. If you have not already done so, please check to see if there are updates available for your device. You can do wireless or with iTunes.

Update the software on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch iOS

If after update, you are still unable to connect to your wifi at home, try to go through the steps in this link. If your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch connects to a Wi-Fi network

This should have your iPad mini to connect to your wifi as it should. Please use the Apple Support communities to post your question. Good day.

  • IPad Mini will not connect to WiFi

My IPad Mini does not connect to my WiFi at home. All other devices in the House are connected correctly. It seems that my IPad Mini or the router. I was working well until that Friday. I have reset the router and the IPad Mini, forgotten network, rebooted both, and nothing seems to work. Any further suggestions?

I suggest to do a hard reset (hold home and power button at the same time) If you have not already tried it. That's worked for me before when nothing else has.

  • A new iPad 9.7 Pro update of and iPad Mini

I have an old iPad Mini (Mini) and a new, an iPad 9.7 Pro (Pro).  I have 185 pdf books, manuals, etc. on the Mini and I'm trying to update the Pro.  In the last two weeks, I spent more than 4 hours with the support of Apple on the phone without success.  The first fight lasted about two hours, and it appeared that the Pro has been updated correctly.  A week later, when I went to get a pdf that I thought had been transferred, I was unable to find it.  That's when I discovered that only 74 of the 185 had been transferred properly.

The basic approach was the Mini to iTunes backup, and then restore it this backup on the Pro.  It obviously doesn't work.  I then called Apple Support again and we have gone through basically the same process.  The Mini to iTunes backup and then restore this backup on the Pro.  All 185 pdfs have been backed up properly on my desktop (Win 8.1), but when this backup has been restored to the Pro, only 74 of the 185 came.  Apple support person and I never got it works.  So now I have to find those who have not been restored and restore each of them individually - 111 pdf files.

This situation is TOTALLY unacceptable.  A couple of years ago, when I bought a new desktop computer, it was a simple matter to move the 'old' stuff on the new computer using a simple transfer program running on the machines and an easy transfer cable special to connect the two computers.  Why I can't get the transfer to work using own Apple programs, I don't know.

Most of my opinions on Apple and their stuff of so-called "user friendly" is printable and really unable to repeat in polite society.

I hope someone reading this can enlighten us on one solution to this problem, other than what seems to be the only solution so far.  Find the missing PDF files and get them on my Pro will take a lot of time.  Time, I'd rather spend pursuing my hobby - photography.  Not only that, even though I am retired, I still have many things to do instead of my photography.

    Both devices work with Airdrop?

If so, why not drop the PDF from the Mini to the Pro - one at a time, but the process is very fast.

  • iPad Mini 2 - Safari verrrry slow to load Web pages nor does any

Since I have updated iPad Mini 2 (32 gb, wifi) to IOS 9.3.1 Safari was incredibly slow to open Web pages or it times out and does not open them at all. I tested my router and did a speed test and it works correctly.  I spoke with Apple Support and they had me perform a recovery to pre - 9.3.1 and then a reinstall of the 9.3.1 (which took about 12 hours), but I still have the same problem.  I tried to turn off and then iPad by restarting but no improvement.  I have a lot of memory, to the left, so it can't be the problem.  Any ideas for other things to try?  Everything else works fine.  I hope that it is not time to buy a new iPad.  All useful ideas appreciated.

  • retina iPad Mini will not be upgraded to 9.3 but makes me

My iPad Mini retina (Mini 2) currently has iOS 9.2.1 but she invites a badge in settings telling me to switch to 9.3.  If I try to upgrade, it encircles for awhile, then tells me that it cannot verify the upgrade.  If I connect to iTunes and ask iTunes to check updates, it tells me that 9.2.1 is the current version.  What gives?  How can I get the device to remind me to get an update, it says that it cannot install?

    Greetings CA_Mom,

Thank you for using communities Support from Apple!

  • iPad Mini (4G) to iOS 9.3.1; Workaround to verification error?

What is the last successful solution to update an iPad Mini (4G, Verizon) on iOS 9.3.1 and work around the error checking? I downloaded the iOS 9.3.1 but installation still gives me a check error due to the absence of Internet connection, which is not a valid error that I don't have an Internet connection.  I first tried to install directly via WiFi with the power supply connected to the iPad.  I then updated my iTunes on my MacBook, connected to the iPad and it says iOS 9.2.1 is the last that is not.  I am doing a full backup on my MacBook and will proceed to restore if this is my only option.  Is this my only option?  Thank you!

According to this, Apple pulled the update problem and has not yet released the latest patch for it.

  • How can I transfer photos from film on iPad mini iMac

I have pictures on my camera iPad mini roll which do not seem to have been downloaded on my iMac.

I often will have pictures from an Sd Card (with adapters) or wifi from my camera to my iPad but not, when I got home, of course to my iMac.

I need to make room on my iPad how do I transfer it to my iMac.  (I'm still under Maverick, I know!    iPad ISO9.2.1 running)

I do not use the cloud to store my photos just transfer them via the photo stream.

The photos are not all on my photo gallery. The photos will go back two years. !

I recently activated photo stream (October, last year) photos to transfer photos from my iMac iPhoto events if some are OK. I used the info forum to delete several of these photos.

To check if I remove a photo from my roll of picture on my iPad, it is not deleted from my iMac, correct?  and according to the original question, I need to transfer photos to my iMac.

IF you have photos that have not been transferred to the Mac because they predate photo stream, you can import them from the film by connecting the iPad to Mac with the cable and launch iPhoto or Image Capture. Your iPad must appears as a device in the left of either of the two apps bar and you will be able to import photos and then delete them from the iPad if you want to do.

As long as the photos have been imported to the Mac, you can delete them from the camera without them being removed from the Mac.
