iPhone 6s had changed password and no one is not available. How can I change this back?

A friend changed my password in my 6s without my knowledge.

It is out of the country and I do not know how to restore.

Hi lawrencefrommedway,

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

I understand that your friend changed the password on your iPhone 6s, and now you can't change it back. I know how it is important to have an access code set up on your iPhone you know. I have something I want you to try.

If your iPhone is on the home screen, you can change the function of auto-lock to never by following this path: settings > general > auto-lock. Make sure that you do not manually lock your iPhone but because you won't be able to access without the current password. And when doing this, make sure your iPhone still has enough battery or you will be prompted for the password if it goes out. This at least will give you access to the iPhone until your friend gets in return.

Once you talk to your friend, yet once, ask them the code to access and update to the help to use a password with your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, specifically, this section:

Change your access code or password settings

Go to settings > Touch ID & password. On devices without contact ID, go to settings > password.

You will find several settings and options:

  • Disable the password: tap this option to disable your access code.
  • Change your password: enter a new six-digit code. Or click Options password to switch to a four-digit numeric code, custom digital code or custom alphanumeric code.
  • Require a password: default with this setting, when you lock your screen, you must enter your password to unlock. If you don't want an immediate need of password, change this setting (for your security, if you use Touch ID or Apple pay, you cannot change the immediate obligation of password).
  • Allow access when it is locked: use this option to allow access to some features when your device is locked, including Notifications, Siriand the Control Center.
  • Clear data: choose to erase your device automatically after than 10 password attempts.

If your iPhone is locked, use If you have forgotten the password for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch or your device is turned off and follow the steps to regain access to your device.

Best regards.
