In the search screen unable to find specific employees in-house research. Please advice

Thank you
Siva

Hi Siva,

There is no research specific to internal employees. If the employee did the searchable profile (from their account irec page), they will show up in the list (when research on normal things like firstname lastname etc.) Please try and let us know the results.

Kind regards

  • iRec: restriction internal employees of enforcement through external site

    Hello

How can we restrict the internal employee of the application of the jobs through site visitor external site. Or how can we identify that the employee internal was applied to work through internal site as well as external site. Is it possible to limit?

    Thank you
    Siva

    Hi Siva,

Unfortunately, there is no easy answer to this one. Any employee may enroll outside with minimal details and apply for a job. It is more a matter of education user I think. One thing you can do, is prevent from saving their official email address with validation.

Another thing you could do is to put messages on the external site to warn employees to use the internal site instead of externally.

Validation NOR will work only if you allow candidates to provide OR numbers.

It is ultimately a question of training of the user as a well-managed recruitment unit stands at sooner rather than later that this person is already an employee.

If all else fails, then the validation OR can be used to identify the employee at the time of hiring.

  • How can I move the internal hard drive containing the LR catalog to become external hard drive?

I'm upgrading to a new computer.  With this approach, I took the hard drive 1 TB "internal" hard with my LR catalog and pictures from my old computer and hooked up as a hard drive on the new computer.   My next step is to load CC Lightroom on the internal drive of the new computer and remove the software from the old hard drive, which is now just a disk storage external photo.

Then, the tricky part where I need help.  How LR to recognize the existing catalog on what is now the external hard drive?

    Thank you

As DJ says, double-click the catalog on the external hard drive.

Or, in the menu of LR, / file/open/and navigate on the external drive.

Whatever it is, after the opening of the catalog, you will need to go to the library, Panel folders module and 'find missing' on each top-level to tell LR you folders, move the folders on the external drive.

  • Device Manager does not recognize the internal WLAN card

I have a laptop HP/Compaq Presario V6200CTO which has an internal wifi card. The wifi worked perfectly until about a week ago, when Windows 7 has ceased to recognize the card altogether. I thouhgt first it was a hardware problem and that the card had died and so I bought a USB adapter, but before the arrival of the adapter that I needed to start in SafeMode w/network (I used adapter Linksys a friend). When OS safe mode entered it automatically loaded the driver "Broadcom", installed the wifi device internal and it worked fine while I was in safe mode. After the system restarts the operating system has yet to recognize the internal card. I rebooted in SafeMode once again, but still the card was not recognized. It seems unlikely that a dead card came suddenly to life for the short period of time I was in safe mode, and then quickly died again on restart. Therefore, I think it is an OS problem, but as the map is not displayed in Device Manager I have no idea how to proceed. N USB adapter I bought works fine, but I'd rather be able to use the internal card and free USB port. Is there a way to load the device from the command line or in a way to force the operating system to find the map?

Lack of maps can often work for short periods. Then, some components overheating or falls down and they stop working.

  • audio output lists only the internal speakers when usb is connected to the dac

This problem happened after I had used my mbp for months as music server in a stereo system.  When I have the mbp connected via USB to an external digital to analog converter (dac), audio preferences had always listed the CAD.  Now it lists only the internal speakers.  I tried to reboot, checked my UBS cable, checked my dac.  The only thing I've done recently is to create a playlist and sync a new iPod to copy the playlist we.  I don't know if that could have anything to create the problem of lack of dac, but I am a relative novice on computers.

Anyone have this problem or knows how to fix?

  • Because I downloaded 29 FF, it comes with a map of the world continually and wants me to complete a survey.

When I log on FF29 web home page gives me a map of the world which then requires me to respond to a survey that I did once, but he continues to repeat. I had to go to Google Chrome because of the nuisance and the loss of time.

Also FF29 does not seem to recognize PDF forms for printing when they are attachments to emails that I want to print.

You can also set the browser.aboutHomeSnippets.updateUrl pref (topic: config) an empty string to prevent Firefox to new excerpts from loading from the server and the default code snippets is displayed. That's what I usually do.

  • First white screen of death, now black screen on the internal, external screen works

    Hello

a few months before I could not suddenly start my macbook more. He had the white screen of death and absolute no functionality in addition to its departure.

A few days ago I got the macbook, open/close a couple of times so that it is operated and suddenly the keyboard LED lit and the screen

turned black. I realized that he really started and connected to the external monitor. everything works fine now in addition to the internal display.

I run Apple Hardware Test mode clamshell, but extensive testing even said that there is no material errors.

can I conclude that my screen is not faulty? I thought it of the graphics chip, but wouldn't the AHT it detects then?

Another thing to mention is that the battery should be changed (warning hint)

I tried PRAM - & resetting the SMC without success.

    MacBookPro 13 "A1278 mid-2012.

I would really appreciate any kind of advice.

    Thanks in advance

  • HP Pavilion s5715: replace the internal hard drive and windows 7 & OEM

    Hello world.

I use a PC HP Pavilion Desktop s5715 with windows 7 Home premium x 64. The internal hard drive is a Seagate (ST1000528AS SATA/300 7200 RPM). I recently received messages when windows starts by saying that "the hard drive failure, is imminent. Check the disk with CrystalDiskInfo told me he had a problem with the reallocated sectors count & number of events of reallocation (with the values 1, 1, 36).

So now, I want to replace this with a Western Digital Black 1 TB internal drive, and I want to have Windows 7 onto the new drive. I had 3 HP recovery disks (burned on DVDs). I also had a D drive that says "HP_Recovery.

  • the internal HARD drive has been corrupted and I fails to make the back upward. need information.

I've owned an HP Pavilion dm1-LQ862PA #UUF, used to be windows 7-64 bit. the internal hard drive has been corrupted and recommended to replace another. they were asking for the backup cd and I failed to do, and I do not regret it. Well, except to lose all my files and programs that I installed, it will also include bluetooth, wi - fi and other important built in programs? I'm not a computer expert. If ever these important programs had totally disappeared, how retrieve it? my laptop in an HP authorized service center will be probably expensive and I decided to buy a new HARD drive and ask someone to put it in and install a new OS. Please help thanks

    Hello:

There is a support for your PC page where all the software drivers to run the hardware on your PC such as bluetooth and wireless can be reinstalled.

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/WC/product?product=5079502 & CC = US & DLC = in & LC = on & query = LQ862PA & Tool=.

What I don't see is the availability of recovery disks to reinstall the operating system (windows 7 64-bit) or your PC programs (other than those listed in the link of support above).

This means that if you want to replace the hard drive, you must make your own W7 64-bit installation media and use the 7 product key of Microsoft windows on the bottom of your PC to activate the installation.

That assumes you can read all 25 characters of the product key windows 7.

    Here's how...

If you can read the Microsoft windows 7 25-character product key, you can download simple Windows 7 ISO files to burn on a DVD for the version of windows that is installed on your PC, and which is listed on the Microsoft COA sticker on your PC case.

Burn the ISO with the option to burn the ISO on your DVD burning program and burn it at the slowest possible speed that will allow your program. This will create a bootable DVD.

Or use the installation of Windows 7 USB/DVD tool to compile the ISO file that you download from Digital River. Link and instructions below. You need a 4 GB flash drive to use the USB compilation method.

    http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msstore/HTML/pbPage.Help_Win7_usbdvd_dwnTool

Use 25 characters on the PC product key to activate the installation.

The key will activate a 32 or 64 bit installation.

Then go to the support of the PC and driver page to install the drivers you need.

Link to downloads ISO of W7 is below.

    http://www.mydigitallife.info/official-Windows-7-SP1-ISO-from-Digital-River/

The replacement hard drive should be a 320 GB SATA II 5 400 rpm Disk If you want the same specification provided with your PC hard drive.

Please refer to Chapter 4 of the service manual on the link below for the procedures for removal and replacement of the hard disk.

  • Tecra 9100 cann't find the internal wireless card

I have Tecra 9100. Recently he started to act strange. Sometimes (rarely), it cannot find its internal wireless card or / and hang (freeze). When I check the device manager card is simply not there. After the reboot, the map pops up sometimes, but not for long.
I checked the event viewer, but the only Error Message is:
    Source: Service Control Manager
    Event ID: 7000
Description: The OrangeWire USB enhanced host controller service could not start because of the following error: the specified driver is invalid.

2 USB ports are working perfect. What is the link between that message and the internal wireless card?
Any ideas how to fix? I'm with Windows XP SP2.
    Thank you.

I put t think the WiFi problem could be related to the USB enhanced host controller service. I don t see a consistency

You can try several steps; first try to install the latest driver WLan.
Access card WLan (device-> Properties Manager) properties, and then clear the option to save energy.
Additionally, you will find different option in the Advanced tab.
I can t Advisor was 100% what options need to be changed because each wireless network card supports different function.

Whatever the case the advice above will not help not I think there could be something wrong with the OS files or registry keys.
In this case, it would be very interesting to know if the installation of clean operating system might help.

  • Satellite A100-410 - no image on the internal display

Dear readers, (also strange that Toshiba sells also in the Netherlands, and I do not use the Dutch language)

    I have a Toshiba Satellite A100-410
I have problems after one year only (after warranty) where to plug an external monitor.
The laptop displays not its own screen, without external screen is lighter, it starts but no picture.
I did it with Fn + F5 but nothing

Controlled parameters but no error detected.
It would be nice if someone could send an email with a url so that the old setting back.
It's a Windows XP MCE and the mechanic that all abducted and put Vista on.

At the beginning, a lot of problems, but it was under warranty and after that install on a clean disk Vista had no problem just no image on the notebook and which isn't difficult if you use him in the hospital.

So I hope that someone can send an email with a solution.

    Thank you
    Seggelinck

(> also strange that Toshiba sells also in the Netherlands, and I do not use the Dutch language)

Toshiba selling own products around the world... everyone here validate in the own language? Definitely bad idea...

    However, your question;
Just to clarify your question; the internal screen does not work, but you can all see if you connect to the laptop to the external monitor. Is this good?

Well, I doubt that this could be a software issue... maybe the internal screen is defective.
What do you thing about this idea?

Usually, you should see the start screen for Toshiba at the beginning of the startup procedure. If this screen is not visible on the screen of the laptop computers, so I guess that this problem could be linked to the failure of the display.

  • problem with the intern memory full

I do bike G4 haveba + with a Samsung Fast 64 GB micro sd and formatted as intern memory.

Onnthat cart is 54 GB of free, but intern memory of the bike is almost full and problems.

IMDO have Osmand and amd downloaded Google maps both use a large part of intern space. I tried to move those applications to the sd cart and he wants to go. What can I do to move people or other apps to sd cart?

Not all applications can be moved to the internal memory. You can not change this. But you can move everything else, if you do not have.

If you select your SD card and it only displays the applications and data being cached, then nothing has been migrated to it. Click the menu 3 dot and select migrate data

  • Mapping to the signals and initial Conditions in a simulink model

Hello world.  I am pretty competent with old Simulation Interface Toolkit (SIT) and I am moving to Veristand.  I have some basic questions that I think that know the answer, but who want to do some checks.

First of all, when you map signals, such as the output of a block check, is it possible to make them available for mapping other that mark the test points?  At the bottom of this page, it is a bit ambiguous, but it seems to suggest that if I disable optimization option will appear any sudden without needing me to mark all test points.  The I am referring to something specific is the following, "Certain optimizations that you activate in Simulink can make a not available in NI VeriStand signal. You can disable these options for the entire model to all the signals available to probe, but the model memory footprint increases accordingly.  Alternatively, you can mark individual signals as test points in Simulink to maintain a very reduced memory footprint by keeping test-point available signals to probe. »

My second question is in what regards the "initial condition" parameters  There was a problem in SIT (although National Instruments has not agree with me at the time that it was a problem), where you can map the controls to these settings, but at the moment where you have been given access to the model, the initialize function had already been called, which means that your maps were useless.  I see that I can still map to these settings in Veristand, and I wonder if the same problem exists.  I'm not quite to the point where I can start trying to change these but I'm hoping to avoid the days of debugging, I lost on this whole by learning to SIT.

As a follow-up on the second question, to SIT, I could find the C code (located in nidll_main.c) that was called whenever the 'play' button and add a second call to the initialize function.  So let me change the initial conditions without recompiling my entire model which, in my case, would be unworkable. If this problem still someone was able to implement a similar solution?

Optimization, you can disable in Simulink (TM) I believe is called Signal storage reuse. To my knowledge you either need to use individual test on son points, or you must disable overall re-use of storage of signal for your model.

Regarding the second question, the question still exists in NI VeriStand. This is something that we are aware of what we expect to address in a future version of NI VeriStand. The workaround you describe might possibly work if you do enough digging in the C code. Currently VeriStand charge and then initializes the model at the same time, and initializing code can read the values of model parameter. If you check out this code and move to the first call to the main function of the calendar, you could allow for the adjustment of the parameters of the model before the model starts.
