  The reason why there is no pencil icon is because, at the moment, the only pen supported in versions of Adobe and Adobe Draw sketch iPad Pro is Apple pencil. Third pens still work on older/other iPads.

• PSE9 on Adobe Store and App Store?

  I noticed that PSE9 is in the two store, but also the price different: in the App Store $79.99 in Adobe Store $ 89.99. Are there any differences between the two versions? Ask any mac developer that sells it, or take a look at the support forums for programs like pixelmator, which are only available through the app store. They will help with purchase and download problems, but that's all.

• Adobe ink does not illuminate.

  I had Adobe ink for less than a week. It worked for a few days. Now, the charger flashes red. When it is not connected to the charger, Adobe ink does not glow when I hold the button. Any suggestions on how to get Adobe ink answer.

  No - Sorry to say. But it loks like a case of death for me. We use all this money on paper and pens next time I will wait 1-2 years before trying to summarize fancy gadgets / hardware from Apple / Adobe - I'll stick to Wacom for sure.

  I am a total novice so please excuse me.  I'm a Baker who attracts the cookies before I decorate them with royal icing. I started having my own cookie cutters made and I wanted to improve the quality of my drawings (symmetrical/cleaner lines, etc.) and I wanted to speed up the process by using digital images for my clients. I have an ipad with Adobe illustrator & Adobe Sketch and I have just bought an ink and slides that I really like, but I can't figure out how to "fill" a shape with colors, now that the line is no longer available...

  It is a press and hold inside the shape you want to fill. That will fill with the color of what brush you have chosen (make sure it is completely closed or will not fill).

  I have a Gen 3 iPad and I'm in no hurry to upgrade huge. I realize that adobe says ink and Slide needs a 4th Gen iPad. But it can be used at all on the earlier models?

  ink and slide seems like a dream on-the-go, but once I'm back in my office, I would like to make a few adjustments and changes and everything fit together. The ink/slide + ipad to connect to the desktop as a drawing pad and assume the role of intuous?

  At this point there is no way to use the ink & Slide with iPad is connected to your desktop computer as a replacement for a digitizing tablet. There is an available SDK, so it is conceivable to Adobe, or another developer, to create a bridge.

  There is a function for printing Adobe Reader allows you to mark "save ink and toner" until you press on print. How does it work? or can someone point me to a link that contains a technical description?

  May not be able to save Ink/toner in your particular case. I think it looks more light.
