Is it possible to add updates to the Windows XP installation folder?
Hello guys,.
I think adding the new patches and critical updates and more in the recovery DVDs so I don't have to redownload and reinstall them again each time I have find my laptop (which happens more often the nature of my work).
Any ideas?
Install the OS, all updates and install your favorite software. After doing this get some professional application like Norton ghost and create your own recovery image. You can save this image on the second partition of HARD drive external HARD drive or even create own recovery DVD.
You can also Google a bit. You may find a similar application for free.
Good bye

How can you cancel the download of an update that was started by after having pressed the button "Check for Updates" in the window "On Firefox", please? If possible, please cover all platforms, Mac, Windows, Linux, although the first mentioned is what currently applies to my situation.
Thank you.
Such a download is usually recorded in a updates or updates folder in the program folder or the Firefox application.
You can delete this folder to cancel the download. If the files have already been downloaded, then delete the files in the folder updates\0 and updates.

How to hide all the future updates to the Windows Mail Junk e-mail filter?
Is it possible to automatically hide or ignore all future updates for Windows Mail Junk e-mail filter?
I don't have, and never plan to use Windows Mail, and I'm not sure that I could never be convinced that I should, someday.
Therefore, all the updates of Windows for this are very very little, but the update system keeps their important marking - so I have to hide them every time.
Is there a technique to automatically remove this update until it is important to my system?
I use Windows Vista Home Basic SP2.
No, you can not hide all the future updates Windows Mail Junk Email Filter. But here is a workaround:
1 configure automatic updates for the 'updates but let me choose... '. "setting.
2. when an update of the Windows Mail Junk e-mail filter is available for your approval, thereafter, hide it.

Where can I find the download more updated of the Windows Migration Wizard?
Where can I find the download more updated of the Windows Migration Wizard?
Article Apple describing the use of the Windows Migration Wizard that is located here – move your data from a Windows PC to Mac - Apple Support
This article includes a link to the download page for the latest version and the download page is here - Migration of Windows Wizard v1.0.5.7
It does not seem to have been updated for a couple of years and doesn't mention Windows 10. While many the most applications that are compatible with Windows 7 and 8 works perfectly under Windows 10 I can say from personal experience, if this also applies to the Windows Migration Wizard.

Does anyone have a directive on execution of the Update window?
Someone has suggestions on when to do and how to do?
Thanks in advance for your suggestions
After you install installers, it will jump to the top message to reboot XP? or it will restart XP automatically?
Thanks a lot everyone for all the suggestions
Get WU to work for you, by choosing an option that works for you, for example you can be notified only and then you can choose to download and install, and reboot when it's convenient for you: -.
Windows XP
To activate the automatic updates yourself, follow these steps:
- Click Start, click run, type sysdm.cpl, and then press ENTER.
- Click the automatic updates tab, and then click to select one of the following options. We recommend that you select the automatic (recommended) automatically download updates that are recommended for my computer and install them .
- Automatic (recommended) automatically download updates that are recommended for my computer and install them
If you select this option, Windows recognizes when you are online and uses your Internet connection to find updates on the Windows Update Web site or on the Microsoft Update Web site that apply to your computer. Updates are automatically downloaded in the background, and you are not notified or interrupted during this process. An icon appears in the notification area of your taskbar when the updates are downloaded. You can point to the icon to display the status of the download. When the download is complete, you receive another message in the notification area so that you can review the updates are planned for installation.
- Click to select the day and time for scheduled updates to download and install. You can schedule automatic updates for any time of the day. However, your computer must be on at the scheduled updates to install.
- You can choose to install the updates as soon as they have finished downloading. To do this, click Download message (or the Update icon), and then click install. If you choose not to install updates when they finish downloading, Windows starts the installation on your set schedule.
- Download updates for me, but let me choose when to install them
If you select this option, Windows recognizes when you are online and uses your Internet connection to automatically download updates on the Windows Update Web site or the Microsoft Update Web site. An icon appears in the notification area of your taskbar when the updates are downloaded. You can point to the icon to display the status of the download. When the download is complete, you receive another message in the notification area so that you can review the updates are planned for installation.
- When you want to install the downloaded update, click the message (or the Update icon), and then click install to install the update.
- If you do not want to install a downloaded update, click Details, and then click to clear the check box next to that update to decline.
- Notify me but don't automatically download or install
If you select this option, Windows recognizes when you are online and uses your Internet connection to search for downloads from the Windows Update Web site or from the Microsoft Update Web site. An automatic updates icon and message appear in the notification area of your taskbar when new updates are available to download or install.
- Automatic (recommended) automatically download updates that are recommended for my computer and install them
- Click the icon or message to view the updates. If you do not want to download a selected update, click to disable the check box next to that update to decline. Click Start Download to download the selected updates. The automatic updates icon remains in the notification area of your taskbar, while updates are downloaded. You can point to the icon to display the status of the download.
- When the download is complete, you receive another message in the notification area indicating that the updates are ready to install. Click the automatic updates icon or the message, and then click install to install the updates.
- Click OK.

I just reinstalled XP pro and I can't get the updates from the windows update web site. Whats up with this please help
There is no way that anyone might be able to help without more. My initial guess and it is just a guess, is that you have to update Internet Explorer .v8. Click HERE and download IE8 and install it. Try again updates once the installation is complete.

A program respond with code exception 0xc0000005 after I did an update of the window.
Original title : A single program stop responding after that I did an update of the window. How can I solve this?
After that I did a windows update, a program does not work. I try to bring it to the top and it says pmast MFC Application has encountered a program and must be closed. When I look at the report of what is sent, it gives a code of 0xc0000005 exception.
Hello Kevinsbabydoll,
Thanks for the return of the response. Are you able to perform a system restore, sometime before the Windows updates? If you can do this, I'd install each update at the same time to confirm your program still works correctly.
