  If you intend to replace the existing images in the site then you can certainly do it with the help of InBrowserEditing, but it is not possible to add new images by using InBrowserEditing.

  Hi there, I'd appreciate some tips here. I created a site in muse of adobe for a customer who will soon be pushed live. I also have a subscription to Adobe Muse (monthly), which will have to end some time. How can I make sure that the site made under my account/subscription remains alive when my subscription expires?  I understand that my customer can pay a third-party host (or adobe business catalyst) to host the site - is this the case?

  Hello Matt,

  It is not mandatory to keep active Muse subscription once the site has been pushed live (this is in the case of pay sites). Even if you stop the Muse/subscription, the site will still be very active. It is also true that the customer can use a free host or third-party Business Catalyst to host the site. If you want to publish them on their own account with Business Catalyst, then send the .muse file to them and let them install the trial version of Muse (if they would just publish this site only this time) or subscribe to Muse paid subscription (if they keep changing the site over and over again) and to publish the site of their account.

  They can also upload the site to the host for their purpose, or is something you can do for them as well, because it doesn't have the notion of account creation then.

  Please forgive these questions (probably) very amateur, but I have a client who would like to get a new website for them. They already have an existing site (hosted somewhere in China), but please can you answer the following questions about to build myself a new site for them:

  1. If I build them a new site on Muse, I will need to start the hosts or can they continue to host on whatever the installer they have? If they can continue to host, can I just send them the HTML files?

  2 affected their existing emails if I host (i.e. accommodation to Business Catalyst)? If I host the new site, how I would go about integrating their email without harming things?

  3. If the customer continues to receive, how they manage the content of the site I design for them? Or if I needed to manage, how this would be possible if I am not it hosting? If I'm the hosts (with BC) is it possible myself and/or the customer can access the CMS?

  1. you can host Business Catalyst or your third party web hosting through the platform. For web forms work on third party hosts, they must support PHP and the PHP mail service must be properly configured to send e-mail messages. And Yes, you can either send the HTML export file so that they publish, or if you have access to their servers, you can download the using the FTP upload feature or use a third-party client FTP. If you choose to use BC as the hosting service, your customers can take advantage of the change of browser function to edit the text and some images of foreground.   2. you can choose to use BC as host without affecting the e-mail services being run by sticking with the current DNS provider and just update the record has to point to BC while keeping intact MX records.   3. the sites completed in Muse can be managed through the Muse app, unless you use Muse only to create a prototype and want to manage the coding from there part for editing (which cannot be synchronized to Muse). So if your customer is using Muse too, you can share with them the .muse file to from there. Or if the site is hosted with BC, your customers can use the browser in typical edition of BC to change the basic text and images through the CMS of BC tel indicated in point 1 above that can be synchronized with the Muse project.

  Yes, it is possible.  But do not. Having too much content on a single page makes your slow to load homepage and could penalize your site to the search engines.   Breaking content into specific sub-pages with descriptive titles and headings to theme is actually good for search engine optimization and it makes it easier for people to find the content they want on your website.

  If you build your site properly with DW or Server - Side Includes, templates have manageable menus, headers, and footers on all pages of your are no problem at all.

  Test site with CSS Tabs - changes to pages are hardly noticeable.

  You can only make a version for the OS that you have a license for and the number of bit OS you are using. In other words, you need LabVIEW for Linux or LabVIEW for Mac to create exe for them and you need 64-bit LabVIEW Windows to generate a 64-bit exe. It requires to move the source code for other development systems.

  I'm creating a Web site for a restaurant which changes their menu every day.  I would like to make a site that makes it as easy as possible for them to change the menu themselves through the edit in browser option.  So far, I have found that the simplest method is to have the client export the menu (from the program they use to make their menu... Microsoft Publisher) as an image, when you log in to Business Catalyst and replace the old image with the new menu.  This works very well for the desktop version of the site, but I'm trying to figure out how to get the change on the mobile menu and versions of the tablet at the same time.

  Is there a way to do this?  Or I go to this trouble?

  Currently, there is no way to do it with only one change. But it should be easy enough to do in the browser.

  Not the office as usual. Then navigate to the version of the Tablet (www.yoursite.com/tablet) and do it there and even with the phone version (www.yoursite.com/phone).

  I have a question that might be a little too complicated for this forum, but I thought I could give it a try and see if anyone could help me (I'm fairly new to all this. I'm pretty good with Photoshop, familiarize yourself with DreamWeaver, but that's all. I know nothing about coding, but I'm learning).

  I am currently working on a website in Dreamweaver project - basically it's the interactive picture book for children. The child would log on to the site, click on the book to open it on the screen, and they can click on the screen to turn the pages. They can also click on the characters and they'll animate (I intend to add sounds to these animations later). It's now a html site. What I was asking is, what should be done to turn this into a downloadable application for a smartphone? Is there an easy way to convert a Dreamweaver site for an application?

  In defence of Dreamweaver, I created several web and mobile applications over the past years, three of which are currently on the Apple App Store and the other on Google Play - all developed with Dreamweaver and the PhoneGap Build service. I have never used another tool to develop projects client app. I had planned to go with Intel XDK for my latest project, an application very simple anecdote, but I've had a month to go from concept to app store submission, so I stuck with what I knew. I was hoping better from Adobe mobile development tools now, but I'll settle for the new workflow Responsive Web Design previously mentioned by the staff. ;-)

  I had only scratched the surface with some links that I provided above. There are so many tools and platform choices out there, some requiring less effort in the Department of development than others, leaving more room for creativity. If you persevere with Dw, it is important to learn the basics (HTML, CSS, JS, jQuery Mobile, etc.), as part of the mobile workflow by 20141 Dw has been deprecated.
