  To completely remove the Windows Easy Transfer files and restore the 'normal' hard drive icons, try the following steps:
   
  a. open the computer, select Tools > Folder Options to open the Folder Options window
  b. in the view tab, select Show hidden files and folders
  c. right click on each of the icons (in my case - disc vista & W7 drive) hard drive and select Explorer
  d. find Windows easy transfer.exe and windowseasytrasfer autorun.inf folder and delete them from the root of the two readers
  e. restart your computer and check if the problem is resolved.

  I think that VMware has a 64-bit/function version. You will need to contact them to verify this.
  64-bit to 32-bit is not supported by Windows Easy Transfer, as far as I know.

  I scanned large documents, which have two sides. Because they were printed on glossy paper, I couldn't scan pages double face. So I did two files, a file that contains all the even-numbered pages and a file containing all of the odd pages. Now, I have two problems: 1. in the even pages file pages are in reverse order, so I need to reverse the order of the pages in this file.   If you have a script that does then you should use this... Open the console and run this command:

  app.getPath ("app", "javascript");

  It will display the location, you need to use the .js file you have. Then restart Acrobat and you should be good to go.

  Yes, Windows easy transfer evaluates disk space is needed to transfer your selections. If you use a USB flash drive, try to use one with enough storage space for the transfer of all.
