  I have a form and am adding text boxes.  I want them to be able to grow with the amount of text entered by the user.  It is essentially to 'comments' on a form.  Most of the text boxes may only need a few words, and some may be 2 paragraphs.  It seems that I have to create a text box and give it a static size.  Is that what I am missing how?

  If I (put) understand, you can simply create a region Type, and then select with the normal (black) selection tool, then set the fill color to none in the Toolbox, and then click Add a new fill in the appearance palette and with the selected fill (yet) set your colour (ing) desired.

  I doubt anyone here will be able to test it with such an old version, but the things that come to mind create each letter on its own layer of text and using the transformation that is free to rotate and position.  Something else will produce bad bad results - unless someone else has a better idea.

  So I have a problem, create a part of the assessment for the training of some software that I develop. What I have is a form that a user opens a program and then fill it depending on the task.
  
  What I want to happen in the assessment is for the user to view the form, select his machine (which I've got fine configuration) and click on the TITLE text box and type a title for the task.
  
  I want to leave to the user as the title (and the description text field that follows it), because they could create this shape for almost any number in the mill. So if my directions for the assessment are to create a form for someone check the lubricating oil levels, I don't want to have to do the user to type in something specific to progress to the next slide. I want to just be able to type in what they want to the title, because I want to use the form in the evaluation, just as they would use it in a real environment.

Whe I save the assessment, I also access this part, click on the text field, write in some info and then click on the following text entry field.   So that other things I noticed, it's text.jsx does not work with UnitValues. It uses the action Manager to work with textRanges. And it seems that Adobe changed the textItem units operating. Therefore, it is difficult to understand what values to use. Text.addNewTextLayer () and Text.modifyTextLayer () seem to what different values for the text of the same size.

  So below is an example updated the PS-Scripts-post on how to create a text layer with different textRanges using the current text.jsx.Note I've hard-coded sizes for that to work as I had hoped.
