In Illustrator, I've created a text box and cannot change the font color of black.
In Illustrator, I've created a text box and cannot change the font color of black. I tried changing each CMYK percentage individually, but it stays black. I have not had this before. What is going on?
[Left the forum Cloud/Installer generic for program specific forum... MOD]
akayshay,
If I (put) understand, you can simply create a region Type, and then select with the normal (black) selection tool, then set the fill color to none in the Toolbox, and then click Add a new fill in the appearance palette and with the selected fill (yet) set your colour (ing) desired.

Hi, when I create a text box, and I type text in it, then I resize this text box, I want to see inside moving text at the same time I'm re-sizing of the text box. It does show me not LIVE what is happening inside the text box while I'm re-sizing of the text box and the same goes for the area of the image, I hope I could clarify my question.
When resizing of a text box, click and hold for a moment before starting to resize. This will allow to see live redesign.

Is there a way to allow the end user to change the font color in a text field?
I didn't know that LiveCycle existed yesterday so I was using the Google a lot.
I'm building an application form and asked if there was a way to change the font color in a text field. (EXAMPLE: content Original is black.) The notes are in red)
I have 2 ideas on that, we should type out and highlight, and then click a button to turn red. The other way. I'm more part. Have a radial affecting when turned off, black types. When on, red types. What is the best way to do it or is it still possible?
Figured it out. Replace 'plain text' 'rich text' and have user support on ctr + e. seems strange to me, but it works.

AppleScript cannot change the font of the text layer
I used Applescript to create a text layer and specify its properties, but when I specify the font I get a compilation error:
Impossible to define 'class NTR' to 'TradeGothic-Bold ". Unauthorized access.
That sounds like a kind of permission error.
Here is a little simplified script:
Tell application "Adobe Photoshop CS4"
say current document
do new layer of art Properties {name: "File name", type:text layer}
say the text object layer of art 1
the value {content, size, stroke color, position, type} {"thefilename", 12, {class:RGB hexadecimal color, hexadecimal value: 'CC0000'}, {2, 12}, text of paragraph}
set the font to "TradeGothic-"BOLD""
tell the end
tell the end
tell the end
If I put the police manually and use 'get properties of the text object in layer art 1', the Script Editor returns (with a long list of other properties):
"" police: 'TradeGothic-"BOLD".
so I think that I've specified the name of the font correctly at least. In the list of properties returned by the Script Editor, the font is blue like above, but all other property names are purple. It's I have to say something.
Well, after some trial and error, I answered my own question. Here's what worked:
Tell application "Adobe Photoshop CS4"
tell the active document
new layer art with properties {name: "File Name", layer type: text}
the text of the layer 1 of the art of storytelling
the value {content, size, stroke color, position, type} {"thefilename", 12, {class hex color: RGB, hex value: 'CC0000'}, {2, 12}, paragraph text}
tell the end
set the font for the text of art layer 1 to "TradeGothic-"Bold"object
tell the end
tell the end
Maybe someone who understands OOP and/or better than I do, may explain why it worked and my first try didn't.

Allow end users to change the font, color and their text size in a form to fill out?
I have created a few blank invitations and want my end users to be able to type in their personal information. I know that I can specify a font for them, but is it possible that they could change the name of the font, size and color in Acrobat Reader? I wish they have this option and thought that he was allowed in earlier versions of the player, but I cannot understand. Thank you!
(Edited to add that I create the form in the full version of Acrobat XI on a Mac, but trying to fill and change it in the CD player.)
Yes, it is possible. Under the text field properties, go to the Options tab and check the box 'allow Rich Text Formatting'.
The user will then be able to specify different options in formatting drive, using the properties bar.

How to change the font color in the legend boxes in Adobe Reader 11?
I can change the color of the border of the box, but not the color of the text inside. If I right click on the text, it will allow me to choose bold/italic, etc but not the color. A right-click when I select the area allows me to change the color of the border or the background fill, but not the police. I'm used to be able to do this until I upgraded to Player 11, but may not know how to do it now: there is no option from the toolbar menu more!
Select the text and press ctrl-e.

Bidi text JTextPane and JTextArea changes the row height
You can use the following example to demonstrate the problem. When you run, copy and paste an Arab character of http://www.alanwood.net/unicode/arabic.html in the display area. This creates a condition of bidi in the document. The circumflex replaces one with a flag at the top to indicate ownership LTR or RTL of the character. The height of the display line, going at a lower height. I am able to detect the State of bidi. I can't get any action to indicate what was the change of line height. I've exhausted all measuring height of possible line that I could find. The size reported by all methods does not State non-bidi bidi State, even if the row height is significantly reduced. Anyone else encounter this? Any proven way to measure the difference?
to import javax.swing.JFrame;
Import javax.swing.JTextPane;
public class HelloSwing {}
Public Shared Sub main (String [] args) {}
JFrame frame = new JFrame ("HelloWorldSwing");
OSname string = new String();
OSname = System.getProperty ("os.name");
JTextPane tp = new JTextPane();
frame.getContentPane () .add (tp);
tp.setText (OSname);
frame.setDefaultCloseOperation (JFrame.EXIT_ON_CLOSE);
Frame.Pack ();
frame.setSize (400, 200);
frame.setLocationByPlatform (true);
frame.setVisible (true);
}
}I think that Eclipse does not use JEditorPane but own component. GUI editors has monospaced fonts of equal width/height for each tank and fixed a height for all rows. It is much easier to manage several sizes of fonts on the same line.

I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit. How can I change the color of the font describing the desktop icons?
I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit. How can I change the color of the font describing the desktop icons?
Hello
You cannot change the font color of desktop.
Because desktop wallpaper images have different colors, it is easy for the colors of unreadable fonts if they are on top of the same color in a background image to display. For example, a black font on top a dark part of the background image or a white font on a white part of a background image.
The desktop icon fonts are dynamic and show white on dark background and change in white with a shadow effect black on a light background.
I hope this helps.
Thank you for using Windows 7

I can't access the function in the panels on the right. Open the control panel but I can't click on anything.
I can also change the font size, etc. after Select test.
I have reset the preferences, but does that to let me use my tool of choice now.
You set the font size of Windows at 150%. Set it to it's default of 100% or disable aero.
