  What version of Mac OS do you have? I guess it's 10.6.8 which is not supported by the App Builder. You need to update to a newer version of Mac OS.

  You can right click on a line and select Properties. You can usually get a Properties menu by using ctrl-E.

  There is no suspect. This is a feature of IMAP.

  Why you use something totally inappropriate, and then go very far to do what it is not designed to do. Why not just use POP?
