Is it possible to edit an existing PDF brochure format single page (2 columns)?

I have an old PDF, but not the source document. It is in the form of two columns, that is, two pages of text on a single page PDF. I tried to convert it to Word in Acrobat Pro XI, but that still retains the two-column format. It is too big and too complex to reformat in Word. I would just like to each of the columns have their own page.

You can copy the page and crop the left and the right column.

  • PDF spreads to single Pages, and then specify the display options

I have a big document InDesign implemented in 11 x 8.5 spreads. I need to export to PDF as single pages, but also to specify the display of the page as 'fit to page'.

If I use the print options, I can get single pages, but can't seem to specify the page display mode.  If I use the interactive options I can specify the display of the page, but all exports chemically instead of single pages.

    Am I missing something here?

    Not really. See http://indesignsecrets.com/interactive-pdf-from-indesign-cs5-always-has-spreads-on.php

There is a way to script down in the comments who will tip spreads and put out in the interactive export (Don't stop to the link to the script that separates the "spreads" apart).

  • Is it possible to create a PDF file using only the pages of an existing PDF?

Is it possible to create a PDF file using only the pages of an existing PDF?

    Hi drdanger,

There is a way, and it requires Acrobat. You need Acrobat to extract pages from a PDF. You are welcome to try free for 30 days, Acrobat, if you haven't already. See www.adobe.com/products/acrobat.html for more information.

If Acrobat, you choose extract in the Pages of the Toolbox pane, then specify which pages you want to extract. These pages are extracted to a new PDF file, which then you name and save it.

  • Is it possible to edit a PDF file with a complete version 5.0 of Adobe blown

Is it possible to edit a PDF with Acrobat 5

If it's a form, there should be to fill fields that change to a bar I as you move the hand on the ground. If the hand does not change, then it is not technically a form - only it looks like one. You can use the tool shape in AA5 to add fields to complete, use the typewriter tool (or it's another name in AA5), or select the text editor tool, and then hold down the CTRL key while you move the cursor to create a new text box.

How can I add white space between areas that contain text fields?

I use Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 2015.

I'm trying to change an existing PDF. I need to add white space between areas that contain text fields to allow these areas to be developed and do not overlap the text and the text below fields.

    For example:

    1. 1.

    Progress/strategies:

    1. 2.

    Progress/strategies:

    1. 3.

    Progress/strategies:

    1. 4.

    Progress/strategies:

The space between each 'progress/strategies' increasing needs. A text field is under each of them. If it's a Word doc, I could just press on enter. What is the best way to do this with Adobe Acrobat Pro DC?

There is no easy way to do it. You need to move the text fields more apart and if there are static elements, then you will need to use the tool edit text & Images to move them, separately.

  • How to add a programmaticaly code PDF to an existing PDF?

How we programmatically add code PDF to an existing PDF? Background: I produce technical manuals of the aircraft. Datalogics composer allows us to compose lists of control of the aircraft in the form of PDF files for printing. The customer wants to view the ACL on a Mini IPad and interactively check boxes and fill in the fields of the IPad. Ideally, we would apply the interactive PDF code for PDF composed in a composition program after. I don't know if this is possible, and I don't know where to start looking. Any ideas are greatly appreciated!

What do you mean by "a composition program after '? If you mean Acrobat, then you can add form fields using a script.

If you mean something else then this forum is not the place for your question...

  • I'm unable to "save under" when you work on an existing PDF file - how to fix this?

I have an existing pdf and make a change, acrobat doesn't let me do a backup to give the file a new name or save it to a new location. I've just updated to DC on a new computer with Yosemite. Any ideas how to operate?

    Hi joannk,

The default "Save as" dialog Acrobat DC is different from the dialogue box you had in earlier versions of Acrobat, it also allows you to record in the clouds and previous locations that you saved the files. It is possible that when Acrobat tries to connect to the 'cloud', it runs into problems. You can try to disable this feature to see if this brings your backup in the back of the box: open Acrobat Preferences, then go to the "General" category and uncheck "show the online storage when you save files:
