Is it possible to install Firefox on Epson Moverio BT - 100 Android 2.2?

Dear Firefox team,
I am trying to install Firefox on an Epson Moverio BT-100 HMD. I don't want to use Google game store. Is it possible to install it?
The Android version is froyo 2.2.

Thank you
Greetings
Aaron

Android 2. 3 is a minimum from mobile Firefox 31.0 and also ARMv6 was abandoned so that only ARMv7 and Intel cpu is supported for x 86...

First of all there is no Thunderbird for Android. Any application that claims to be is malware. You can try e-mail K-9 client for messaging Android open source instead.

By default, we suggest Google game users get Firefox for Android, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.mozilla.firefox

If you're completely avoiding all Google services, we suggest the build Firefox Aurora because it has an auto updater. It can be downloaded from https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/channel/#aurora

You can install the build buy using the Android SDK on your desktop or copy the apk on your phone and using a browser of files, such as OI file manager to locate the file and start the installation program. You will need change the setting of the Android OS for the installation of applications from "unknown Sources".

  • Is it possible to install Firefox on multiple machines with plugins already installed using a flash drive?

I am currently install Firefox on several machines and would like 2 plugins installed with installation. At this point, we have to install Firefox, then go back and install the 2 plugins. There must be an easier way. Plugins help our content company to load properly on machines.

Oh boy, I see you don't have experience with this... ok, you've been around here, once you paste the file C:\Users\MYUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla you need to install firefox, firefox installs in C:\Program Files, and you're done, once firefox opens it checks the contents of C:\Users\MYUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla and load all the information there , addons, history, passwords, etc.
In the plain English there are 2 files in Mozila\Firefox, one in C:\Program Files and contains ONLY what it takes to run firefox.exe, other Mozila\Firefox is located in your USER folder and contains your personal profile that has your plugins, addons, paswords, history, bookmarks, if you delete this folder once you run firefox it will create a new and start over If you have this folder you should have if you did stick it in the new machine, so when you install and run firefox it will be the contents of this folder and run, his cloning as your current firefox in another machine, but you need to install firefox because she needs to add extra stuff to the registry and stuff, BUT it is an alternative If you want to have both these files without having to install anything, just copy and paste, then you need a Firefox Portable, which will work with installation 0, being a little slow to start, but once opened will be will work also quickly as one installed (the disc depends on his work, a hard drive is fast (, a USB is faster an ssd we the fastest).
If you still have questions feel free to ask. If you go the route portable firefox there are many videos on youtube that will show you how to do or where to download it. Good luck.

  • Is it possible to install Firefox on Kindle Fire?

Cannot install Firefox on Kindle, really want to

P.S. Here's what virtualsattva wrote in his post on 18/02/13 in the thread I linked to, in which case it is useful:

The Kindle Fire HD crash is only fixed in Firefox 20. I recommend Firefox Aurora for non-store installs as it includes an updater. http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/mobile/aurora/

We don't have any plans to ship Firefox in the Amazon app store because they modify our software.

The link mobile/aurora gives detailed installation instructions.

I'd love to be able to use the stable release and at the same time, I want to see what's to come in future releases and test them. I wonder if I can install all three of them and maybe even run them at the same time.

Do a custom installation and install each version in its own folder in program using several versions of Firefox.

Create a new profile exclusively for each version of Firefox.

Create a shortcut on the desktop with Pei 'profile' attached to the target to launch each version of Firefox with its own profile.

If you have rooted your Nook you can install mobile Firefox via the link non-marchands, download link. However you must keep it updated yourself as the Android market is used normally.

  • Is it possible to install and use firefox 5 separately without updating my 3.6.18 installation?

I'd just like to continue to use my Version 3.6.18 for awhile I have experiment and become familiar with Firefox 5 before making a decision to upgrade. Would keep the lead 2 separate versions to problems? Current system is Windows 7SP1 edit

Note Windows 7 and other windows have hidden files, make sure that you include them in your backup.

Make sure that you will be able to see all of your files when copying.

(it is the step #10 in http://dmcritchie.mvps.org/windows-7/win7.htm )
Station work, Tools(or View), folder, Options display
    the
    files and folders hidden
(_) do not show hidden files, folders,
    (X) hidden file show, folders or disks
[_] hide drives empty in the computer folder
[_] Hide extensions of known file types
[_] Hide protected files (recommended) operating system

before you start as a precaution, back up your complete profiles

    1. Watch the window-7 hidden files Note (below)
    2. type of topic: support in the address bar
    3. Click on 'open containing folder '.
    4. Make a note of the name of the file, it contains the name of your profile
    5. mount a directory in your profile folder, the profile folder contains your profile and all other profiles you may have.
    6. mount a directory more to your folder of firefox
    7. Back up your profile folder and your profiles.ini on an empty USB key file (preferred). I prefer to use the XCOPY command myself, but you can copy a Windows Explorer window in a window of Windows Explorer that shows your USB - stick. Hold down the Ctrl key while dragging the file and the file on the USB key, what you see copy don't move not to when you drag

Your main reference from that moment is

Download 5.0 from the download link on http://www.mozilla.org (do not use the link .com it will try to update your 3.6.18)

CTRL + J to display the Download Manager (in Fx5 it ends at the end of the download, so get used to reopen)

Start the installation as usual, install the application in its own directory, not the one that is your 3.6.18. You will probably need to haveit Firefox 7, so you can choose something different from how I named mine

    C:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla Firefox 5.0\

At the end of the download, do not run firefox, your old Firefox is the default value.

Rename the new firefox 5 shortcuts to the Office so that you can identify as Fx5

You must change the properties so that the target is something like
    "C:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla Firefox 5.0\firefox.exe ' p - Firefox-five-no-remote

The name that you chose when you installed, this name will probably last you through Firefox 7. in order to choose the right directory name when you install Firefox accordingly.

That '-no - remote ' is what will allow you to run both at the same time later. Given that this is not your default browser other applications such as email will not recognize this browser unless the email is web-based and you started from this browser.

You can play with Firefox 5, as long as start you with - no.-remote

Later, you can copy your old profile Firefox 3 in your profile Firefox 5 and test even more.

You can make Firefox 5.0 resemble Firefox 3.6.18, see numbered 1 to 10 in the next topic difficulty Firefox 4.0 UI toolbar, problems (make Firefox 4.0 look like 3.6)

I would suggest to color toolbars to identify your 5.0 other profiles, at the very least, create a folder named "* Fx5 * ' to the left of the toolbar of bookmarks.

  • Clean completely install firefox, no offers

I messed up my Firefox and need a * clean * install. Reinstall using all combinations possible results in 'Firefox-choose user profile' box with nothing in and no way to "Create a profile" - a pop window for a fraction of a second and disappeared without letting me see what is in it.
It drives me crazy. I do not for all my previous settings, history, bookmarks - I need a * charge * install.
    Help, please!
    Thank you
    Vlad

Hi Vlad, please open this way:

    %APPDATA%

The Mozilla in OldMozilla folder, and then rename (I suggest to rename instead of delete so you can dig whatever it is essential you need later)

Then change the "Roaming" in the address bar of Windows Explorer on 'Local' and rename the Mozilla folder it the same way.

Then when you run the installer, Firefox does not detect your old settings and should put in place the new files.

Moreover, you can get the latest installer here:

    https://www.Mozilla.org/Firefox/all/ (scroll your preferred language)

    Success?

  • Computer tells me that I have all the permissions to install Firefox. Why is this window popping up?

I saw this question already asked in the forums to update the latest version of Firefox, but I don't need to update the version, I try to download the latest version of Firefox for Windows through Chrome.
I click on the download button on the Mozilla site and I extract the file. At this point, the computer asks me if I want to save the file or run the file. I tried to just run the file, and the computer pops up this message "you may not be the necessary permissions to use all the features of the program you are about to run." You can run this program as a different user or continue to run the program as a gooseberry". The window gives me two options, "Run as a user of cassis" (which closes all when I choose what it) and 'Run as administrator' (which leaves me with a user name and password which are always wrong).
I can not download Firefox and tried a lot of things. I feel that it is a security setting in my computer that needs to be adjusted, but I don't know enough to start to tinker around at random.

As in all Forums... Help, please!

One possibility is to open the Mozilla's FTP site in Windows Explorer and download Firefox set up the file in this way.

See "how to download Firefox on a new computer without using Internet Explorer":

    Another direct link:

Try to start the computer in Mode safe mode with network support Windows (on the startup screen, press F8) to see if that allows to install Firefox.

  • I can't install Firefox Sync on Firefox 25.0.1 for Mac, I need to use Firefox on iphone.

When I tried to install Firefox sync it says that it was not compatible with firefox 25.0.1.
Mac 10.6.8 is that most my system can handle.

I have an iphone 4 running iOS 7.0.3.

I want to use firefox on my iphone and think that I have to install Firefox Sync to achieve. Is there anyway I can run firefox on my iphone?

Synchronization between the Mac and the iphone would be a good thing but is not essential.

Hello, due to the restrictive policy of apple it is unfortunately not possible to put in place and provide independent third-party browsers for idevices.

Mozilla is against bringing the rendering motor & javascript in firefox on iOS, because apple only allows the use of its own webkit in terms for developers - as long as it does, firefox and the ecosystem of the addon can be ported to iOS devices.

  • Is it possible to force Firefox to remember passwords?

As many have complained, there is a growing trend for websites prevent browsers, including Firefox, to remember passwords. It's absolutely maddening. Like most people, I have the order of 100 passwords, and thanks to the idiots, an excess of zeal IT guys who need to justify their own jobs, we are forced to constantly change the ridiculous combinations, impossible to remember symbols and numbers. (Everyone really get their accounts stolen because some hacker sits down and tries to guess their password? Somehow I find it very, very hard to believe.)

First world problems, I know. However, my question is simple: is it possible to force Firefox to remember passwords? Maybe an add-on or an external program any? I know there are programs of password manager, but last time I checked, those who were practically worthless and did not support working as well as the Firefox built-in to remember passwords. Thanks for any help.

Hello Andrew, Yes, you can either install an addon or use a bookmarklet to work around this restriction.

in a next version of firefox, this feature will also be integrated directly in the browser: http://www.ghacks.net/2013/12/24/firefox-29-save-fill-autocompleteoff-passwords/

  • I have installed Firefox 12 and went to install add-onns, I added 6 may add ons, none of them appear under 'Add-ons '.

I installed Firefox 12, I then added 6 modules, when I check on them, I go to 'tools'-'Add-ons' and nothing found. Some appear under 'tools' (like tweaktube and delicious) but none appear in the list of modules.

It is possible that there is a problem with the files that store the registry extensions.

Delete the files (extensions.sqlite, extensions.ini, extensions.cache) extensions.* and compatibility.ini in the profile folder of Firefox to reset the extensions registry.

New files will be created if necessary.

    See "extension corrupted files:

If you see disabled extensions, is not compatible, in "tools > Modules > Extensions ' and then click the Tools button, on the left side of the search bar (or click on the"Find updates"button in older versions of Firefox) to check if there is an available update compatibility.
