  1 Toshiba A60 manual says that maximum RAM in two slots should not exceed 1.5 GB. That means 1500 MB literally like 512 + 1024 = 1536. I know its stupid but the hassle of a return of the items after the purchase is a pain.

  I found some info on this unit and hope this will help you. According to the specs of this device comes with 128 MB of RAM and can be updated up to 1024 MB. Memory compatible with this camera modules are:

  PC133 512 MB (PA3108U - 1 M 51)
  PC133 256 MB (PA3086U - 1 M 25)
  PC133 128 MB (PA3085U - 1 M 12)

  Check how many modules of 512 MB of costs. If they are not expensive, you can buy two of them and the use of RAM max. In this case your device will work much, much faster.

  I m not 100% sure but I think the 64 MB could be an internal memory and usually such module memory can not be removed. In addition it is possible that the memory of this unit can be improved to the amount of the 192 MB (64 MB + 128 MB)
