Is it possible to program the processor MyRIO outside LabView?

I am writing an operating system for AVR32 and I like to wear ARM Cortex to measure differences in performance etc. How can I program a MyRIO outside labview?

Hi aan928,

It is possible to program one myRIO outside of LabVIEW, and to do this using C or C++, you can use the tool on the following link:

    Hello

Theoretically, it of possible to exchange the processor on your laptop, but nobody will be able to tell if the laptop works fine with the new processor or not.

You mustn't forget that the BIOS and motherboard is designed for the preinstalled CPU and it s not tested with another processor. Normally a newer or faster CPU produces more heat and I don t know if the Assembly of cooling on your laptop is sufficient for this.

If you still have the warranty of your laptop you will lose because Toshiba doesn't support the CPU upgrade:

So officially his unsupported by Toshiba but if the socket on the motherboard and the chipset would support the new processor then you'd have a good chance to get the new processor running on this device.

    Hello

Usually it of not possible to upgrade the processor.
Of course, some people here have managed to upgrade the processor, but following some functions and features as don t work module cooling.

I do not recommend upgrading the processor. No one knows if it runs correctly.
Some processors are welded on the map and there is no possibility to remove it.

This is why don t do if you are not sure it will work 100%!

    Hello

Is it possible to upgrade the processor on my Equium A60 - 155. There is currently a Celeron D 2.6 Ghz and its so slow! I can put a P4 chip in or is the motherboard a Celeron only (plug 7 a bell rings)?

    Thank you

As far as I know spend CPU is not possible and thereby you can upgrade RAM to the maximum level. You should also configure and optimize the pre-installed OS and I sure that you will be satisfied with your laptop of my.

In my opinion, the processor is powerful enough, but there are also other factors that may be responsible for slow operating system.

You can switch to any processor Socket M, if the BIOS of your laptop allows and if your computer laptop cooling supports all. You can go as high as the Core Duo T2700, which is 2.33 GHz with 2 MB of L2 cache. Or you can go as high as the Core 2 Duo T7600, which is also 2.33 GHz, but with 4 MB of L2 cache.

    Core Duo T2050, T2250, T2350, T2450

    Core Duo T2300 T2400 T2500, T2600, T2700

    Core 2 Duo T5500, T5600, T7200, T7400, T7600

And of course you still have the Pentium dual-core Processor that are compatible. And those aren't the only ones, I'm sure there's more.

    Thanks in advance,
    Cosmin

    Hi Cosmin

The whole upgrade CPU is a little difficult.
    Let the facts:
-Is this laptop manufacturers don t s support all updated CPU and don t advice these updates.
-The fact is that laptops using special versions of BIOS modified for each series laptop and therefore different processors might be problematic due to the compatibility of the BIOS. In the worst case, your laptop would not start after upgrading CPU.
-The fact is that your laptop supports the chipset AMD Hudson A68M and ONLY AMD processors would be supported by the chipset.
-The fact is that laptop procedure disassembly is not very easy and there is a high risk of damage of the part while dismantling the unit.
-The fact is that you will NOT see large performance gain after upgrading the CPU. I recommend you replace the HARD drive with an SSD for performance gain.

Here are some facts that you should consider before considering the replacement of the CPU.

    Hey,.

Theoretically, it is possible to swap the CPU, but an upgrade is not supported by Toshiba. This means that you lose the warranty and no one can say if other types of CPU are supported or not because there is no list with other processors.

Can also make sure that the current fan and cooling module is good enough for better CPU?

  • Is it possible to upgrade the processor in a Satellite M40 - 101?

I have 479 pin provided Pentiuma® M 730 1.6 Ghz processor. It is insufficient for some tasks more. So I would like to upgrade CPU, but is it possible?

    Hello

Theoretically, it is possible to upgrade the CPU but practically it is not easy to do.
The M40 comes with different CPU's.
As far as I know, these processors has been used and are compatible:
    -Processor Intel Dothan (533 MHz)
    730 1.6 GHz
    740 1.73 GHz
    750 1.86 GHz
    760 2.0 GHz
    770 2.13 GHz

It seems that notebook was shipped with the first.
But believe me; No one can tell if the laptop can run successfully after the CPU upgrade.
As you probably know the faster and more powerful processor produces more heat and this could lead to overheating of the laptop.
In my view, this is a serious problem and you should be careful

By the way: Please check this thread. The risk of upgrading have been described very detailed:

  • Tecra A4: Is it possible to upgrade the processor to a Core 2 Duo

Anyone know if it is possible to upgrade the centrino pentium m 2.0 to a core 2 duo? I got contradictory responses from businesses of the model assumed in my area.

I don't know who to believe and don't want my laptop massacred by a hack who thinks he can do something that is not possible.

    Thank you!

    Hello

No, it is not possible to s!
Tecra A4 supports the Intel Pentium M (Dothan) and Intel Celeron M processor.

This processor Intel Dothan (533 MHz) are supported:
    7301.6 GHz / 740 1.73 GHz / 750 1.86 GHz / 760 2.0 GHz / 770 2.13GHz

and the processor Intel Celeron M (400 MHz)
    350 1.3 GHz / 360 1.4 GHz / 370 1.5GHz

Upgrade CPU on laptops is always risky!
Faster CPU will produce more heat and the temperature increases of higher level. The laptop could overheat!

  • HP laptop - 15-ac110na: is it possible to upgrade the processor?

Hi I was wondering if it would be possible to upgrade the CPU on my laptop. It's a HP for laptop - 15-ac110na (ENERGY STAR). It is the CPU Intel(r) Pentium (r) CPU 3825U 1.90 GHz but I would exceed 3.0 GHz. If this is possible, is - could anyone recommend a new processor with more power and processing speed?

    Thank you very much.

Sort of. Here is the Service Manual:

    Manual

The CPU is soldered on the motherboard would be the only way to upgrade to replace the motherboard which would cost about what you probably paid for your laptop. In other words, it could be done, theoretically, but makes no economic sense. Sell your laptop even if you take a loss and buy a new one with the processor you want and you will come out ahead. None of the available processors comes not far from 3 ghz., 2.4 is the fastest.

  • Satellite P15-S409: is it possible to upgrade the processor?

Hello, I have a Toshiba P15-S409 I would like to know if the CPU can be upgraded. What socket t - it support and Max speed value?.

How can I find the specifications.

    Thanks in advance.

Update CPU is always a sensitive topic with different opinions. I don't know for sure if the CPU upgrade is possible, but I know with certainty that the laptop are not extensible as desktop PCs. P15 is older laptop models and on older models of laptops, the processors used in laptops are connected to the motherboard using a process called TCP (tape carrier package). It is a method of permanent connection and is used in the interest of miniaturization and heat dissipation.

If you need more upgraded RAM maximum power and optimize the operating system preinstalled.

  • Is it possible to upgrade the processor Equium A100-27?

    Hello

A PC Wizard, it says that my motherboard can handle up to 2048 mhz cpu, so can it be upgraded? And what CPU should I use?

    Thank you...

    Mark

    Card mother Upgradebility:
    Socket/Slot: U2E1
    Interface upgrade: ZIF connector
Support speed: 2048 MHz (or more)
    Support for voltage: 3.3 v

    Hello

If you use 'PC Wizard' and trust you him? 'PC Wizard' is in my opinion not a program that will find what CPU fits into your system.

1.) CPU that you have? Intel CoreDuo, CoreSolo, PentiumM (each of these CPU´s has the Yonah Core).
PC-Wizard did tell you that? If this isn't the case, try 'WCPUID' or 'CPU - Z', to find out what CPU is in your system. (These programs are professional tools for hardware manufacturers and overclockers btw.)

2.) supported voltage 3.3 volts? The maximum voltage of CPU for this CPU that is in your system is on (legal and verified) 1.6 - 1, 70 Volt in normal condition. So a second proof that your kind "PC-Wizard" is lying to you.

(3.) the maximum speed really depends on the architecture of your machine. The most recent version CoreDuo has 2.33 Ghz, but the just CoreSole 1.66 Ghz. If you really want to do, so make sure you REALLY what CPU you have.

4.) think the cooling system. Are you sure that the cooling system for the processor in your system fits on CPU at high speeds? And where to find this information? This information belongs just to hardware manufacturers toshiba and not to normal phenomena like us. :)

5.) since each new processor Intel needed a Flash of the CPU register (called DMI / writing) you will have the following problem, because these tools are just given toshiba technicians and are not available to the public! So, if you REALLY can install the CPU (have you forgotten fat cooling? Who registers for this CPU?)
Then your machine will run on 30 percent speed because the system could not recognize the processor type because no DMI has been drafted.

6.), but if really realize you that all this 'I-WANT-TO-CHANGE-MY-CPU', you take it apart your machine, installed the CPU, where you don t know you you have and what adjustments one, where you don t know what cooling fat you need and you´re probably not sure that the cooling system is able to cool the CPU, then you assembled the machine without knowing how and you wrote the DMI where you don t have the software to do it, while your system is * SLIGHTLY * more fast but you won´t recognize it because the performance you gain is not a "quantum leap".

If my suggestion, from me to you:

Upgrade your RAM, put a larger hard drive in your system, buy a TV Tuner, but avoid ONE thing - Don t share the basic elements of a system of laptop (laptop, laptop), because the money, time and stress are not worthy of it.

Have a good day and many greets from Croatia
