  It's just the way DW works.

  Type it on as you, without tab, then click on commands > apply Source Formatting when you want that added indentations. It will add the notches of the entire source code.

  To facilitate a much faster process, you can set a keyboard shortcut to apply Source Formatting by going to...

  Edition > keyboard shortcuts

  Click on the + in front of the commands in the list

  Scroll to the bottom to apply Source Formatting and constitute a shortcut for it, such as Ctrl + Shift + '

  From here out, when you want to add tabs, you can use this key combination to do.

• Hand coded CSS, Dreamweaver CSS, long hand, short hand CSS palettes?

  I am new to CSS and coding by hand am and my hand coded CSS works but I got it from a book and it was coded in hand short syntx.

  I tried to write the CSS in Dreamweaver and it dose not work... so I tried using the palettes of DW that dose also do not work.

  I think the DW dose does not have the background color and background image at the same time but hand coded thi is also not allowed why?

  There are two mistakes of coding in Dreamweaver CC 2015 in code Tabs - when the tab is inserted by using the 'Tab' option under 'Insert' - it displays error in two places (1) under tab2 aria-expanded = "false - the quotes are not closed (2) the / </span > is not closed Dropdown afterTab3 < span class ="circumflex accent"> accordingly" the drop-down list is not visible in the Panel.   Thank you for this comment. I filed an internal bug for that draw the attention of the engineering team. If all goes well, it will be corrected in the next update for Dreamweaver CC.

  Still one thing you could do if you don't mind hosting your video on Youtube is to get an embed code for Youtube - in this way, you don't have to convert all the files. YouTube will do it for you and it will play on devices of HTML5 as well as supports Flash player of relief for devices that cannot play HTML5.

  I searched high and low for something like layers to do this, but have not discovered something.

  I build the collage with the look I want in Fireworks, but then this single image is large enough, and I fear this would be a problem.

  Yes you can ride images using a combination of absolute positioning (for positioning) and z-index (for the layer). You can even rotate it with the CSS transformations.

  However, it is not specific instead of styling and coding in Dreamweaver.

  Note: the image roted does not work in Explorer 8 and lower without jiggery pokery even more.

  Here's how it works.

  The parent div has a relative position (a point of reference)

  Each image inside it is given an absoloute position (in other words, he'll be exactly where you want the upper-left corner of the parent div with being 0

  So as I write above: 100px left: 100px which means the top left of the div 100pixels parent and 100 down.

  To force the overlay, we use the z-index. By default everything is on layer 0 then a way more high number a top layer.

  You can still have pictures with links as it cancels the image on top.

  As you can see the rotating images stepping up a level.

• sliced and imported from photoshop into dreamweaver layout

  First of all, I am a newbie to all this stuff of web design and coding and dreamweaver. I tried to create my first site so here I am. I went through 2 different tutorials (youtube and lynda.com) I created a layout in photoshop and I also decided it. I imported into dreamweaver (CS3 incidentally)... I understand a bit what I'm doing. I did set them all a site and I clicked on the content box that I cut and removed and inserted a div / added the image that go, so I did this edit box. The layout that I imported I recorded it as a model. In any case, so basically I'm clicking on each quarter into slices, remove and insert a div tag it. No problem. Now, areas in slices, which has about, contact, etc... what I had to do as images links / clickable. So, before you run Remove then insert a div element... I first clicked on the area into slices and then at the bottom of the screen, where it says link, I made a point to the file, basically related. Now, when she spotted in the browser, it displays boxes in the navigation into slices, which is supposed to nit. See here a screenshot...

  I'm trying to implement a table with a fixed header on parchment on my site of Muse. The table must scroll with main site window (not inside a box).

  Here is an example with CSS, HTML and JS code in separate windows.

  Is this achievable in Muse? If so, how can it be done?

  Yes, you can add the table by using the feature to insert the HTML code and it will still work until browsers stop supporting them. But you will not be able to pin, added the header of the table in the order of the Muse.In, to pin header in the Muse, it must be a separate object in the Muse.

  If you need to do requires a significant amount of custom coding, then Dreamweaver is probably a more appropriate tool as Muse does not support direct access to the code.

• Embedded HTML in Muse

  There are a few snippets I need to incorporate into the section of the page sandwiched and there any code that I need to incorporate into the /body.

  Is it possible to differentiate this within the Muse or do I need to export the page in HTML, and then do the coding in Dreamweaver?

  Use the properties of the Page-> HTML topossibility to include code in the head and use the menu item-> Insert the HTML code to insert your custom within the body of the page HTML code.

  Sound centre lining up properly in the preview of dreamweaver and preview of mail chimp, but when I sent it to Gmail, it has left-aligned.

• CS6 flow layout problems

  I am new to coding and Dreamweaver CS6 and worked with the checkerboard to fluid.  When I'm viewing the template page in Safari preview, my site looks like the image below.  After recording and put the files, the page is completely different when I type the Web site in the URL.

  I've recreated the index page/model three times because I had problems with formatting of the Spry menu.

  I wonder if by removing the Spry menu, if I have confused the path of Dreamweaver or caused other disturbances?

  How can I create a site that looks the same (or similar) to preview? (and add a menu bar?)

  When you use the URL for the site, without a file name, the server automatically seeks the default document such as index.html.

  Therefore, you have index.html or index.htm or index.php or similar.

  index.dwt is a DW template file and is not classified as document by default, shouldn't be. The model file should only be used on the local computer to create HTML documents based on this template.
