Is there a function of block selection in the editor of CVI?

I am a newbie of the CVI and familiarize themselves with the environment.  One thing I did find is still a function of block selection.  Can someone help me on this?  I'm looking for something similar to, say, Alt-do drag in MS Word.

Thank you.

Yes. You can switch between different modes of selection by pressing or by clicking on the symbol in the status bar, see the attached figure.

  • How can I make my new Web site auto resize to any size monitor?  Or is there a function I can select or click on which will allow my site on auto size?

We're almost done with a Web site that we worked on for our company.  We noticed that while it seems to fit perfectly on most of our standard HD monitors, we have still a few who are not HD and know that many of our customers will be the same.  These monitors that are not HD seem cut off from footer and side just a little.

It is a feature of MUSE that will automatically resize a Web site for the monitor which shows?  If not, how this is done?

I guess (or hope) you mean that the content of the window (the site) must adapt to the browser window, because you can't force the browser window to adapt (maximize if the user set smaller, or any size on a Mac) on the screen of the computer.

If it is indeed the adaptation of the content you need, then take a look at all the 'sensitive' news, that the current version of the Muse offers today. Check out the video tutorials and Help pages !

  • Is there a convenient way to selectively apply the black and White Conversion?

First of all, I know how to use the black and white adjustment layer and I am familiar with masking. What I want to do, it's something more complicated.

When I convert a picture n & B, I often find that there are areas of the image that would benefit from a slightly different treatment than the rest. For example, I have a lot of foliage that I want to run by using the yellow and green Sliders, but maybe there's Green House which I want to clear up instead. Using a black and white layer adjustment I can't make this kind of decision as it effects the entire image. And other layers B & W setting on one has no effect because it has already been converted.

My first thought was to use two different adjustment layers, one with a mask reversed on the other, but not only is it very clumsy (what happens when you need more of two sets of adjustments, but it always seems to be an area left along the border of the selected areas / unselected masks where some remnants of color.)

Use B & W adjustment layer and mask areas that you want to assign. Set the blending mode to luminosity. then you can put a final above all convert to the true B & W.

  • Is there a function of executives similar to the elements?

I'm moving to the full Photoshop elements, and I'm trying to understand if there is something similar to features frames in the full Photoshop CC.  In the elements, you can add several images to the canvas and then drag and drop the images in each frame. You can then resize and reposition in the framework (as well as resize and reposition the framework itself).  I can certainly create layers of the image, but they are static.  The functionality of the elements was dynamic.

What I'm trying to do is to create a model for a collage where I can easily fall into different images and then reuse the template for a different set of images.

Is there something like this in full Photoshop, or did requires a plug-in?

    Thank you!

I give you this bit of thinking. It's much simpler than I thought.

Create a shape of the frame. Place the image on the layer above the form. Place the cursor between the two layers and hold down alt Windows or opt on Mac, and then click. This will cut out the image in the form.

At this point, the shape and the image are always individual, allowing you to scale, move, or rotate one without affecting the other.

You can create a group, create a dynamic object or link the two layers to be handled together.

I have not tried linking a clipped front layer, so that links may or may not work. Group and smart objects will be however.

  • Move the function of automatic selection of the tool is not capture several objects on drag / select.

I know that the title of this discussion is a bit murky, but the problem is a little weird.  I have Photoshop CS6 v13.1.2.  In this version, I will activate the selection, automatic check selection tool: layer, select Show transform controls and then while using the selection tool, I will drag to create a rectangle to select several layers with content in the specified area.  Unfortunately, this action doesn't work when I start the selection of outside of the area of the canvas.  If started from in the space of the canvas, any rectangle will appear, it will show me a measure of the size of my choice, and then choose without diapers as soon as available.

This may not be working as intended, right?  I mean multi-Select drag cannot be wanted only work when started outside the canvas on the right?  Is there a way to fix this?  Is this a bug?  See the images below for more information on this issue.

    outside-canvas.pnginside-canvas.png

If you have the tool move on automatic selection, and you begin to drag inside the canvas... It will not work as you expect that it is not selectable area unless the point where you click to start the drag operation (such as a locked layer or transparency)

When you do it the way you describe... the move tool self-selecting a layer and pass only a layer.

Look at your layer panel and see which layer targeted to your insertion point of the trail. And lock it.

(in other words, if I understand correctly your problem)

  • Is there a function in LabVIEW that takes the last half of the data (table) which can then be used for the analysis?

I was wondering if there was something in this direction in LabVIEW to create a shortcut for this, rather than try to hardcode it after the fact. Does anyone know this method I'm talking about? (IEC 60601-2-24 dry 50) Please let me know because I'm fighting here.

I have to calculate the index and the length after the fact. I just hope that there may be a simpler solution.

Well, you can reduce the complexity of the half by computing only the "index" and leave the 'length' of "subset of the table" unwired. If you wire length, the subset is the rest of the table.

There are also "split table 1 d.

If it's still too hard, do it once and wrap it in a sub - VI, called for example "SecondHalf1D.VI". Of course, you probably also need a logical deal with cases where the size of the array is not an even number.

  • Select only the objects in a rectangle selection

I am a new user of Illustrator CS5, switching from Freehand. I'm trying to find out if there is a way to select only the objects in a marquee? In AutoCAD, you can make a selection on the left window to the right and only those objects entirely in the window are selected. If you the window right on the left all the objects that are "crossed" or affected by the window are selected. Is there a similar technique in Illustrator?

Currently, I have to select the objects, and then go back and hold the SHIFT key to deselect the object I don't want, or place objects on different layers and then lock the layers to prevent additional items get selected.

In AutoCAD, my main program, you simply draw a window selection, left or right, depending on what your next step would be. No special tools or rocking or thinking, that's just the selection primary process and very intuitive.

I posted a discussion on the Illustrator forum several months ago, which still arouses comments so this seems to be a tool that would be appreciated by many users. Someone posted a script but it has not worked for me yet.

Thank you for everything that you can do to solve this problem.

This is a copy of my last post of the original thread. I found some discussions confused because I have no experience in writing or by using scripts. So I copied all the recommendations in a document to read without the comments and digressions. After several hours and a lot of searching on Google I found what solution adapted to my goal, which was a selection process fast and simple with fewer steps to use.

So, I think I have this job. The following is what I did:

1 copy the script by Carlos Canto post #11 here:

    http://forums.Adobe.com/thread/856221?start=0&TSTART=0

    2. open the ExtendScript Toolkit Utilities > Adobe utilities - CS5.5 > ExtendScript Toolkit CS5.5 > ExtendScript Toolkit CS5.5.App

    3. when the program opens, paste the script in the large Panel on the left.

    4. then go to file > save as.

    5. that the dialog box click on the arrow next to the save box slot to expand the section options.

    6. next, go to Applications > Adobe Illustrator CS5.1 > Presets > en_US > Scripts.

    7. then, in the Save as box enter a name to identify the script (I named mine Window1).

    8. click on save and close the Toolbox.

Launch Illustrator and open a drawing.

1 using the rectangle tool, I drew a rectangle around the objects.

    2. make sure that the new rectangle is selected.

    3. I went to file > Scripts > Window1.

4A got an error message - error 8705: target layer cannot be changed 25-> iart.selected + true line:

Oops, you must have ALL unlocked layers.

    5. you click OK.

    6 unlocked all the layers.

    7. my new activated rectangle.

    8. went to file > Scripts > Window1.

9 here! Items in the rectangle are selected and the rectangle is removed.

So yes, this script works as requested. Thank you, Carlos.

  • How to selectively reset the content in a form

I have a reset button on my form to clear all user input. I have a table with Qty. price inputs and the corresponding fields that calculate amounts etc.

I would like to add a reset button to clear only the entries in the table and corresponding totals. How can I do this?

You can pass the path of the field to the function resetData to selectively reset the data in the form.

    xfa.host.resetData ("xfa.form.form1.Page1.Table1");

    xfa.host.resetData ("xfa.form.form1.Page1.TextField1");

    OR

xfa.host.resetData ("xfa.form.form1.Page1.Table1, xfa.form.form1.Page1.TextField1"); Combine several fields in a single statement...
