  In Aperture and iPhoto, you can see a list of 'events' with photos grouped by date. How is it possible in Photos? You can have photos ordered by date, but it doesn't seem to be a way to see them grouped as a list. It is tedious to find a photo of two years which is based on the date. There is a folder "iPhoto events" but it does not contain those upon importation and does not appear to update.

  If times do not work for you, you can always create a smart album and reduce your time to a certain month or week or day. Not exactly what you are looking for, but it may be useful.

• Is there an action or a script to remove the variables?

  I have about 500 files created from a source model and a variable (of 500 sets of data). Each of the 500 output files includes the library of variables. I want to separate the object and remove the variable in each of these output files. It will take hours to open each file and manually remove the variable, so I hope that it might be possible to automate this process with a script or a batch action. Unfortunately, however, I don't know enough script to create the script myself. Are there commands that can be combined in an action, or y at - it an existing, to achieve this script?

  Unfortunately not.

  If you save as a MIF, you can open the file in a text editor and from the Variable catalogue. The data will look like this:

  You can manipulate it in a text editor to get the name of the variable and the definition in a csv format suitable for import into a spreadsheet.

  You can also create a routine right in the worksheet out of your variables changed in MIF format in order to re - import directly into files of FM. Consult the MIF reference manual for complete syntax will perform a simple extract MIF file.
