Is there an overall error event handler?

Hello

There in LiveCycle Designer, an event that is similar to the window.onerror handler?

In other words, an event that is triggered in case of unhandled exceptions.

Thank you!

Here is a sample of the Adobe Management of Exceptions of JavaScript articles

Try

{

code to test

} catch (err)

{

vDebug var = "";

for (var prop in err)

{

vDebug += "property:" + prop + "value: [" + err [prop] + "" "] \n";

}

vDebug += "toString(): value of '+': [" + err.toString () + "]";

App.Alert (vDebug);

}

Hope this helps

  • Error in the post process event handler

    We should write a process post event handler that updates the field Manager. So, I used the following code to update the Manager field when a user is created:

    Code:

    public EventResult run (long processId, long eventId,
    Orchestration of the orchestration) {}
    System.out.println ("Test for the event handler");
    Try
    {
    Take string = getUserKey (processId, orchestration);
    System.out.println ("USERKEY1" + take);
    UserManager userMgmt = Platform.getService (UserManager.class);
    System.out.println ("USERMANAGEMENT" + userMgmt);
    System.out.println (userMgmt.modify (User (take))) of new;
    userMgmt.modify ("usr_mgr_key", "28", new User (take));
    System.out.println ("USERKEY2" + take);

    } catch (ValidationFailedException e) {}
    System.out.println ("Exception1");
    } catch (AccessDeniedException e) {}
    System.out.println ("Exception2") ;} {} catch (UserModifyException e)
    System.out.println ("Exception3") ;} {} catch (NoSuchUserException e)
    System.out.println ("Exception4") ;} {} catch (SearchKeyNotUniqueException e)
    }
    return new EventResult();
    }

    private String getUserKey (long processID, orchestration of the Orchestration) {}
    Take string;
    String entityType = orchestration.getTarget () .getType ();
    Result of the EventResult;
    result = new EventResult();
    System.out.println ("Feature Type" + entityType);
    System.out.println ("PID" + processID);

    If (! orchestration.getOperation () .equals ("CREATE")) {}
    Take = orchestration.getTarget () .getEntityId ();
    System.out.println ("UserKEY0" + take);
    } else {}
    OrchestrationEngine orchEngine = (OrchestrationEngine.class) Platform.getService;
    Take = (String) orchEngine.getActionResult (processID);
    System.out.println ("Take-1" + take);
    }
    Return take;

    }

    It compiles very well, and when we try to create a user, the user is created successfully. But the expected behaviours of the upadting field Manager with the key to the user '28' are not the case. My highest approach: is it good or is there another method that will make it work?

    The output message I see is:

    Test for the event handler

    Thank you

    I hope that the incorrect coding.
    Use this code.

    UserManager userMgmt = oimClient.getService (UserManager.class);
    Attribute to change
    HashMap atrrMap = new HashMap ();
    atrrMap.put ("usr_manager_key", Long.valueOf("1")); the user will be updated with key Manager 1 (xelsysadm) make sure usr_key 1 (Manager) are in IOM.

    get the user you want to change
    User user = userMgmt.getDetails ("usr_key", "41", null);
    User = new User (String.valueOf (user.getId ()), atrrMap);
    Result UserManagerResult = userMgmt.modify ("usr_key", String.valueOf("41"), user);
    UserManagerResult str = userMgmt.modify ("usr_mgr_key", "111", new User ("41"));
    System.out.println ("UserUpdate.Process ()" + result.getStatus ());

    Also do not use the UserManager class, he can go for a loop.
    Use
    EntityManager entityManager = Platform.getService (EntityManager.class);
    entityManager.modifyEntity (orchestrationTarget.getType (), take, mapAttrs);

    I assume you want to use the manager associated with use of the user cases.

  • Is there a c# example to use the event handler ExpressionEdit Custom Button control

    TestStand 4.1

    VISUAL C# 2008

    I've added the event handler for ExpressionEdit events as I would any event handler:

    exprEdit.ButtonClick += new NationalInstruments.TestStand.Interop.UI.Ax._ExpressionEditEvents_ButtonClickEventHandler (_ExpressionEditEvents_ButtonClickEvent);

    Then, I create the event handler using the syntax

    public void _ExpressionEditEvents_ButtonClickEvent(NationalInstruments.TestStand.Interop.UI.ExpressionEditButton btn)

    {

    }

    I get the following error when I compile Isaiah:

    Error 1 no overload for delegate matches '_ExpressionEditEvents_ButtonClickEvent' 'NationalInstruments.TestStand.Interop.UI.Ax._ExpressionEditEvents_ButtonClickEventHandler '.

    I guess that means that I don't have the right parameters or types in my statement of event handler, but it corresponds to the object browser.  Any ideas on what I'm missing?

    See my last edition but I think you want your handler to look like this:

    Public Sub exprEdit_ButtonClick (ByVal sender,
    NationalInstruments.TestStand.Interop.UI.Ax._ExpressionEditEvents_ButtonClickEvent

    Try to re-create the hosts file.

    Open Notepad as administrator (click right on the Notepad icon or shortcut and click Run as admin) and type the following information in it:

    127.0.0.1 localhost

    : 1 localhost

    The '1' in the '127.0.0.1' must be in the first column of the line and there must be at least one space between "127.0.0.1" and "localhost". In the second line, there must be at least one space between ": 1" and "localhost".

    Save the file with name "hosts" in the C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc folder.

    Its a simple code that I use to fill the value of a UDF field according to the value of the remaining 2 fields. I want to trigger the events it after insertion and subsequent update.
    But even if I restart the server of the IOM after having placed the file compiled successfully (0 error, 0 warnings) in the EventHandlers's OIM_HOME folder. It does not appear in the Console Design-> developer tools-> definition of business-> event Manager Manager rule. :( I need this file appears in the search for adapters/event handlers to create an event handler. This JAR file doesn't show up there.

    Is there something missing in the code?
    What else must be specified?

    Create a variable username you adapter, go to the list of Variable in the adapter and click Add. Do set during execution.

    Once the adapter of the entity is created and you put this device in the data object manager ==>.click on Attach pre users insert and save.

    Go to the tab cards card, here, you can select your adapter and double click on the variable User ID and map it to entity field - USR_LOGIN.

  • Can how I download a call stack when there is an error?

    VI "call the string" print only one stack of calls from the VI which contains the string of appeal VI.

    Since I use a Subvi, which manages errors and the chain of appeal VI cannot be located in the VI where an error occurs,

    VI "call the string" isn't useful in a logging error VI.

    In java, you have Throwable.printStackTrace () that prints the call stack.

    Is there an equivalent of Throwable.printStackTrace () LabVIEW?

    CITA wrote:

    nathand / / there is no call chain in the cluster of error.

    rolfk / / the problem is that the first element of the array is in the depths of the call chain.
    Suppose I put "call the string" VI in D.vi
    E.VI called D.vi (D<>
    And the tree of VI is 'A '.<><><><>
    If a VI was an error in A.i, VI "call the string" would return only 'D.vi' and "E.vi" in the returned array.
    I want to see "A.i", 'B.vi', 'C.vi', 'D.vi' and "E.vi" in the table of call chain.

    But it is impossible to place "call the string" VI at the lowest level (A.i in this case) for a large canvas of the screws.
    A.I could be included at the next to last level later in time.

    Well, you may need to rethink what you expect here. You want to have the same as structured exceptions management, but also that there is indeed patents on several of these implementations, LabVIEW works a little different since it is data flow. Basically what I do in LabVIEW, is to have a VI that is placed where an error occurs. It checks the error condition and if violations adds the actual call stack (called string - the number of levels the error checker uses) more than the additional error information in the error cluster. Basically, this is what in other languages is the throw statement. All consecutive screws have this cluster of error usually wired through and do nothing (except the close function that tries to close all resources in any case) if there is an error in. Then at the end of your transaction, usually in a higher level VI there is an error handler, which records the information, shows a dialog box or all that logical for an error in this regard. If your stack is determined at the point where the error occurs, but you don't have much code every time, you can write a Subvi, you can drop into the diagram to manage this for you and add the cluster of error information.

    The cluster of error is not exactly the most ideal way to manage the structured exception handling, but it is a mechanism that has been introduced a long time ago and worked pretty well, or of less not pretty bad a lot of people were worried trying to find a more universal (and always easy to handle) MECHANISM.

  • Control does not after the exit of the loop of event handler

    My application brings together several controls user input.  When the user presses the OK button, it exits the event handler and the treatment.  During the treatment, it is not able to read the new values of the controls.  And in fact is no longer meets the stop button.

    When executing the attached VI, you will find that you can press the button of the switch and the LED indicates the status of the switch (this is my input from the user).  Now, press the OK button.  If you press the switch button, you will see that it works only once.  In addition, the stop button unresponsive to user input.  If you do not press the button, the stop button will cause the 2nd loop exit.

    Why the 2nd loop is unresponsive to the switch?

    It is a simplified version of my application in which two loops are separate from the States of my state machine.  There are several other States as well.

    The case of the event of the "change value" event has the property set to lock the Panel before the VI when the event is raised until the case of the event is over.

    Because the left while the loop is running not but the structuer event is always active FP everything is locked.

    Uncheck this option in the "edit event".

  • How can I access the data associated with an event within the event handler function?

    Hello

    In my LabWindows code, I try to use a DLL that has been developed in .NET (c#).  I used the built-in labwindows Wizard that converts the DLL to a usable 'instrument'.  Almost everything seems to work, except that I have 1 problem.

    There is an event (defined in the DLL) that I am able to detect.  I know that the reminder of the event is called at the right time.  But the problem is that in this function, I can't access the data that is supposed to be attached to the event.  It worked fine in c#, but I don't know how to do in LabWindows.  Here's what looked like in c# event handler function:

    void AppLoaderEventCallback (CommonLib.CommandResult MyResults)

    {

    MyResults is used in the body of this function

    }

    But in LabWindows, I can't seem to access the MyResults data structure.  Here's what I do:

    public static int CVICALLBACK AppLoaderEventCallback (CommonLib_CommandResult MyResults)

    {

    I can't access MyResults here

    }

    Can you help me with this?  I'm doing something wrong?

    Thank you very much for your help.

    -Mike

    I think that your statement of callback function is perhaps not quite correct. Look using the parameter "callback function" function Panel of the generated __Create function associated with this event. This shows the declaration of the callback function - make sure that your callback function is declared in the same way.

    Hi sookchan,

    ·         Have you checked the problem in safe mode?

    This event is generated when the client Forefront Endpoint Protection (FEP) cannot get updates from Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) or the Internet. This problem may be caused by the WinHTTP proxy settings.

    You can see the B method among the Advanced troubleshooting methods in this article.

    You may encounter temporary connection related errors when you use Windows Update or Microsoft Update to install updates

  • Error 6 Handle is invalid

    OK, this has me completely baffled.  A client brings me a laptop and simply told me that the internet does not work.  Yes, I can help with that.  Internet on this laptop is via a card of Kyocera KPC680 airtime wireless and came with Quicklink Mobile software.

    1. uninstalled software, drivers, everything associated with the card and this particular connection.  After you have everything reinstalled, the result is the same.  Error 6: Handle is invalid

    2 found information online indicating that a registry error may be the cause of errors with this type of connection.  With this information, I have CCleaner and do a record check and correct.  Still in train, error 6: Handle is invalid.

    3. after that I got to thinking, maybe Valentine's.  We will try the card in another computer and see if it works.  And in the other computer connects and works very well.  The question therefore with the computer... somewhere.

    4. After talking with the customer a little they tell me the problem started when he installed Norton.  OK, uninstall all Symantec and Norton.  Crossed and made sure it was all gone, including all registry entries.  Still the same error 6: Handle is invalid.

    5. scoured internet for answers and found mention of rarepair.exe, a file which has been shown to work to fix this exact problem in Windows XP and in some cases, Windows Vista.  A little more research links to the same thread of the forum with the same download and the same steps.  Download the file, the scanner on another computer virus and it's free.  Now I think I've tried all the rest, so what can it hurt.  Run the file and it passes through it.  It uninstalls, restarts, relocations and after him affecting everything back up.  Error 6: Handle is invalid

    6 tried to reset tcp/ip stack as suggested by a friend tech... always the same 6 error: Handle is invalid

    I am at a loss.  I tried almost everything I can think and find (or gets suggested by technicians colleagues) and none of it worked.  The only thing I can think of right now is updated the firmware on the card, but if that was the issue, it wouldn't have problems on other computers?

    Someone at - it any other suggestions?

    Hi RKCompServices,

    1. is the airtime wireless card detected in Device Manager?
    2. when exactly you receive the error message?

    First check if the air card is detected by windows in Device Manager.

    1. Open Device Manager by clicking the Start button, click Control Panel, clicking system and Maintenance, and then clicking Device Manager. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

  • Epson Event Manager cannot find the scanner driver. Epson said that the event handler is a windows thing, and so is the problem.

    I installed an Epson Stylus SX215. I can print, scan and copy if I use another way, but if I want to use the event handler it says that it cannot find the scanner driver may not use the event handler at all (cannot yet open the program).
    In addition, the scan option "attached to electronic mail" does nothing either. Don't know if this is because the event handler program or because he can not see e-mail programs I have.

    Hi bdelrio,

    Thanks for posting. Try running a System File Checker to find errors.

    Click Start.
    In the search box type cmd
    In the menu start right click on cmd.exe and select Run - As-Administrator.
    In the command prompt, type "sfc/scannow".
    Allow this to fill and run. Please let us know if this corrects and error, or if it reports errors, it cannot fix.

  • Not able to start computer to Windows VIsta: error event critical ID 10

    Original title: Critical Error Event ID 10

    Yesterday my office started to show a very serious mistake. The symptoms are:

    * On the Dell splash screen, there are tiny dots blue/purple (hard to tell) on the entire screen.
    * If I allow him to continue to boot normally, it will pass through the screen with the little bar at the bottom of the screen, then it will go black and not change again. I have to make a hard stop.
    * If I hit F2 or F12 (menus on the start sequence), first black screen covered with symbols of the dollar ($) rises. The menu right then there is upward, except that it's full of spelling mistakes, signs and random symbols replacing letters and scattered everywhere.
    * I changed the boot sequence to boot from the optical drive first and booted from the Vista disc came with my computer. The screen "Press any key to start from the CD-ROM or DVD" was also covered with dollar signs. From there on, I was able to get the Startup Repair menu. Nothing could be resolved here.
    I managed to get into Safe Mode and view the event log. The only recurring error event that corresponds to the period is:
    Source: WMI
    Event ID: 10
    Task category: no
    General: Filter event with the query "SELECT * FROM __InstanceModificationEvent WITHIN 60.

    WHERE TargetInstance ISA 'Win32_Processor' AND TargetInstance.LoadPercentage
    > 99 "could not be reactivated in namespace '//./root/CIMV2' due to
    error 0 x 80041003. Events cannot be delivered through this filter until the
    problem is solved.

    Details (XML):

    SELECT * FROM __InstanceModificationEvent WITHIN 60 WHERE
    TargetInstance ISA 'Win32_Processor' AND TargetInstance.LoadPercentage >
    99

    0 x 80041003

    Here are my specs:
    Model: Dell XPS 630I
    OS: Vista Edition Home Premium SP2 x 32
    Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 @2. 40 GHz
    RAM: 4 GB
    Someone at - it suggestions?

    Yes, funny thing. Computer fixed now, but I don't know why. I've done one or two things in quick succession without trying a boot between them, so something has resolved, but I don't know what.

    The chkdsk says that it remove a bunch of files, so maybe that's her. I cleaned all the dust from inside, so that may have contributed. I also disconnected and then reconnected the graphics card (a big ' ole dedicated NVIDIA one), what could be the fixer as well.
    I'm inclined to think it's the graphics, since, as I mentioned above, my old laptop was showing similar symptoms when its GPU went wrong.
    So yes, the problem is solved. If all goes well at all times. Mods, feel free to close this topic.
  • Error event ID 7026 Windows Vista - related SYMTDI.sys

    I use Windows Vista Home Premium edition. Meet the error event ID 7000 in the newspaper of the events with the following details:

    The SYMTDI service failed to start due to the following error: A device attached to the system is not functioning.

    Notice that there is another error related event ID 7026. With some internet research, it seems SYMTDI.sys file system Symantec's Norton. I uninstalled Symantec from my system, but the file system still exist in the folder Windows\Systeme32\driver.

    I need help to get rid of the error caused by event ID 7000 which generate 3 files of event every 10 seconds or not. I also suspect that it is the cause of my breakdown of the system (blue screen) when I play a game that is installed on an external hard drive.

    Any help is very appreciated. Thank you.

  • Error event 4

    I'm getting this on multiple machines, I checked to see if there are the same name of server accounts, but there isn't. Any idea?

    Source: Microsoft-Windows-Security-Kerberos
    Category: no
    User name: n/a
    Computer: vcbepo1.corp.core.bank
    Description: The Kerberos client received a KRB_AP_ERR_MODIFIED error from the server of wks347$. The target name was cifs/WKS395, which indicates that the target server could not decrypt the ticket provided by the customer. This can occur when target server principal name (SPN) is registered on one different account that the target service uses. Ensure that the target THAT SPN is registered only on the account used by the server. This error can also occur if the password service target account is different from what is set up on the Kerberos key for this service target Distribution Center. Make sure that the service on the server and the KDC are configured to use the same password. If the server name is not complete, and the target domain is different from the customer area), check if it is the same name of server accounts in these two areas, or use the fully qualified name to identify the server.
