  If you distribute Flash Player within your organization, we offer a PKG Installer to be used by tools such as ARD.  If you have not done so, you need a license to distribute Flash Player within your organization.  You will then receive an email with the URL to visit to download the installation file of.  Please see Adobe Flash Player Distribution.   When I download the most recent Adobe Flash update for mac I have a strange icon.

  

  When I double click to launch the update file, I get an even weirder window full of gibberish.

  Remove the .mdlp of file name, so that it ends just .dmg.

  We are seeing this behavior with users who have installed of MathLab and we look at why this is happening.  FWIW, this happens to other software THAT DMG files as well, not only the installer of Flash Player.  For some reason when users have installed, MathLab when the DMG file is downloaded, it adds the extension .mdlp for her.  When users try to run it, rather than open with DiskImageMounter, which is what OS X uses to open DMG files, it opens using MATLAB and the result is what you posted.  In this case in the future, simply remove ".mdlp" from the file name and DiskImageMounter will open the DMG, instead of Matlab.

  Also, if there is no installed on the browser toolbar, try to uninstall it from the browser and check the performance.

  If it works then well other wise, you can try the following steps:

  1. Uninstall Flash Player in Panel of--> programs (two Active X and Plugin)

  2. download uninstaller for Flash Player and Sockwave

  Flash Player Uninstaller

  Shockwave Player Uninstaller

  3. run the uninstaller for each of them.

  4 delete the file Flash starting from the following locations:

  C:\Windows\System32\Macromed

  C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Macromedia

  C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Adobe

  5. download Flash Player

  I've used both Windows and Flash Player Uninstaller uninstall program, files deleted from (C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash) and (C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash) then re-installed, but this error still exist. Please help solve this problem?

• I have Adobe Flash Player Plugin for Firefox, but still miss me Flash Player?
