If I could do to an empty login screen, I would be able to login as administrator.  I note that in user accounts in Control Panel there is only my limited user listed but in virtue of the computer/administrative management tools there are my admin and accounts admin hidden as well as a few others but all have been disabled except the limited user account.   I'm out!  Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

  I have been runing Windows Vista on my Toshiba Satellite Pro A300 PSAGDE. Because my original Windows Vista key has been blocked I did a system recovery CD Toshiba vith XP. Everything work fine except the fingerprint sensor and the touchpad. Manager access suite said he couldn't connect with equipped and the driver touch pad in the taskbar icon shows but it seems to be inactive. The touchpad does not work even though I have pres FN + F9.

  What should I do to save this problem.

  Somehow the material is not properly recognized.
  It will be interesting to see if the fingerprint sensor and touchpad may work with Vista preinstalled originally.
  I think that Alex is right. Contact the nearest Toshiba service provider and ask for help. They should check the functionality of the hardware.

  Recently, I upgraded my HP Windows Vista Home Edition of Windows Vista Ultimate Edition HDX16 model (quite a 'new installation' upgrade.) Since then I've been doing a handful of drivers went unnoticed in the Device Manager. Keep in mind that the unpacking, all devices in the computer worked as it should.

  I downloaded all the drivers on the site of HP drivers, and these drivers are not detected. This led me to the relization that I might have to do a destructive reinstall of my OS, back to Vista Home edition. This would make Vista Ultimate completely a waste. Very restless indeed. I contacted a representitve HP, and he identified my problem: drivers preinstalled on the computer are adapted to the Windows Vista Home delivered pre-installed on my computer. However, he could not help me solve the problem.

  As a last resort, I tried a program called Driver Genius for backing up the computer a friend (who purched the same exact model, with Vista Ultimate pre installed,) drivers. This corrected a lot of the unknown devices, but I'm still left with three unknowns. I'm quite positive that one is the fingerprint reader. He refuses to be detected on start-up, and what is installing digital persona personal.

  Here is the run down on the three unknowns:

  Identifying them all help to detect / detection / providing information about where to install the drivers would be a great help.

  This is a regression in FF9 see https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=713014 FF9 fails to open a tab (in your webmail account) to view Yahoo chat. That is why the active tab (in Firefox) keeps flashing. In any case, it works very well in beta version of FF10.
