    I have updated Unity Player 4.3.7f1 after I noticed that a previous version, when I noticed that an earlier version of the unit has been disabled by Firefox. The entry for the plug-in has more red alert on the unit are disabled because it is dangerous, but it is also always never 'enable '.

  • What is the Unity Web Player?

    I use a Dell laptop with Win 7 SP1.

    I noticed something called 'Unity Web Player' in the CTL PANEL > PROGRAMS & FEATURES.  I was able to find such a thing in C: / under APP DATA (hidden) > LOCALLOW > UNITY.  As I pointed out, I couldn't find the program when I changed the folder options to show hidden files.

    According to the website (http://unity3d.com/webplayer/), it allows my computer play 3D on the web content.

    Frankly, I don't know if I need it... or if it's just "junkware" that was preinstalled by Dell, when I came to the computer.

    Anyone know what is this thing?  And, if it can be safely uninstalled?

    Thank you.

    Hi Matthew,

    If you do not need or use the functions of the Unity web player as mentioned in the website of the unit, you can safely uninstall the program. Above all, it came pre-installed with your Dell laptop.

    In addition, you can post your question in the official community of unity.

  • How to install the unity web player on RT?

    How can I install the browser plug in Unity Web Player on Surface RT?

    Windows rt fully supports the unit.

    Do your research.

    lol you can create applications with the unit for windows than RT engine, but you can not install web plugins or something like that (which I think is what this topic was about).

  • DivX web player does not work in Firefox 7?

    After I upgraded to Firefox 7 (and 7.01) the Divx web player controls were not available during playback of a video Divx on a website and the menu didn't come to the top when I right click on the video. I tried different versions of Divx web player, including the last, and the problem remains the same. In addition, the video would play only but would not download automatically in the cache in the folder of Divx movies on my computer while playing as he did before. I re-installed Firefox 6.02 and everything works well again.

    Possible solution:

    (1st - this problem manifests itself also in Firefox) 8.0

    Try disabling the VLC plug-in. For me, it worked in Firefox 8.0.

    Not sure, but I think that he would have something to with Firefox actually streaming Divx file using VLC media player streaming. When this plug-in is disabled Firefox uses the Divx web player as before. As to why this happens in Firefox 7 & 8 I have no idea.

  • DivX web player is not compatible with firefox 6.0.2

    I installed divx web player version 2.02 and firefox 6.0.2 is not compatible with it. two of them are updated to the latest version.

    Hey imshteam,

    I have this problem also. But somewhere on the internet I found a forum where someone suggested this might have something to do with the settings of Internet Explorer replaces the Firefox settings.
    So what I tried installing on my Internet Explorer DivX webplayer as well. Turns out that Firefox now shows DivX webplayer 2.0.2.039 and more DivX Webplayer HTML5 2.1.2.126 as addons for Firefox and makes two of them incompatible with Firefox 6.0.2 yet.
    The idea of this story is that, despite the conflict, I can now play DivX webplayer video with Firefox!

    Let us know if it works for you also.

    First thing to do is to check its Vista compatibility at the link above, and if not to see what patches/solutions are available from its manufacturer...

    http://www.howtogeek.com/HOWTO/Windows-Vista/using-Windows-Vista-compatibility-mode/

    If this is not Vista compatible, read the info on the link above.
    It works for some programs, but not all.

    This applies to software programs, NOT hardware drivers.

    If it's Vista compatible > uninstall it > Re-download/save to your desktop > right click on the setup.exe

    O run as admin.

    If the above does not work:

    It comes with Vista, upgrade install and activate Forum.

  • TMSPrint works only with the Web Player

    I use TMSprint for all the impressions of my piece which works fine on the desktop. However, when you try to access the print function via the web player, I get a "TMsMPrint" module not found. All modules are loaded. I suspect that the tms_mp.dll module that seems to lead the process is the culprit - although I've had my ISP add the .dll type other than the reader needs, this doesn't work. It seems that TMSprint will not work on the web. Is this true?

    If so are there any alternatives that will work, for example Printomatic?

    With the help of your files and my localhost, I was able to understand the problem. He was not mprint.x32 this file is not required (it is an earlier version of MPrint). The problem was the line in the .aam that reads set DOWNLOAD. The "update" command actually did a directory change. All files listed after that it will go into the download folder until it reaches put an another command. You can see the dowload file if you open the web drive location while the piece is still ongoing in your browser, this is a temporary file that is deleted by the runtime during the shutdown. If you remove this line from the aam file then the file tms_mp.dll will in the right folder and it will work.

  • Model HTML 'Detect Web Player' fails in IE8 + Vista - remedy?

    Hi all

    Have had no problem with AW 7 Web packaged pieces in IE8 & Vista until recently but I find now that the 'Detect Web Player' HTML template fails to load the .aam. (the .aam works fine when loaded directly or via the "Default" template.)

    I can only assume that is is associated with one or other of the latest updates downloaded from Ms.   I can't say that that since I'm only update and test intermittently, but it is probably one released in the past month or so since everything was working OK before that.

    The only other update recently installed is the latest version of Java

    IE8 is now reports an error on the page:

    ' Object expected: character of the line 19 53'

    and the page fails to load the .aam

    The offending line is:

                if (! MM_AWARE & & navigator.appName! = 'Netscape') MM_AWARE = IsAuthorwareControl()

    The full script of the page provided by AW (offending line highlighted in red) is:

    < script language = "VBScript" >
    Function IsAuthorwareControl()
    error resume next
    MM_AWARE = False

    MM_AWARE = IsObject (CreateObject ("Macromedia.AuthorwareShockwaveControl.1"))
    IsAuthorwareControl = MM_AWARE
    End Function
    < /script >
    < script language = "JavaScript" >
    var MM_AWARE = false
    for (i = 0; i < navigator.plugins.length; i ++)
    If (navigator.plugins [i].name.indexOf ("Authorware")! = - 1)
    MM_AWARE = parseFloat (navigator.plugins [i].description.substring (navigator.plugins [i].description.in dexOf ('version') + 8)) > = 7;
    If (!) MM_AWARE & & navigator.appName! = 'Netscape') MM_AWARE = IsAuthorwareControl()
    If {(MM_AWARE)

    document. Write (' < /embed > \n "");
    document. Write ('< /object >');
    } else

    Interestingly, if I uninstall IE8 and go back to IE7, the error remains in IE7 on my machine while the load the .aam model very well on other machines running IE7 on our network and I didn't support calls related to this issue to customers yet.

    I completely deleted and reinstalled the Web Player and the error message still appears.  Similarly, I uninstalled the last update of Java with no effect, but do not know if this is relevant.

    The standard model of conditioning "Default" still load the .aam very well.

    I welcome a solution updated code if someone has any ideas because we have a lot of customers out there with their programs loaded using this model and want to anticipate the problems of alimony if they leave in IE8.

    Thank you

    Don

  • Authorware Web Player: Place orders / moving files

    From an Authorware Web Player 7 (aam) file, I download the templates from Microsoft. I know that by using a 'get '. and "put." Gets the file in the installed folder, then puts / move to the Authorware Web Player file, specifically: C:\Documents and Settings\nom_utilisateur\Application Data\Macromedia\Authorware Web Player\NP32ASW\webplr08. My goal is to move these files in the folder Templates from Microsoft: C:\Documents and Settings\utilisateur\Application data\microsoft\modeles. I usually put with two... (periods) and the file moved up one folder, so I assumed set to 5... (periods) it move up to 4 levels, and then I could use the "put... \Microsoft\Templates" as the final index. It doesn't work that way, so I'm stuck.

    Thanks in advance for you help!

    I get this result too. I remember vaguely a feature of the character that prevents him from going outside the folder of the player. It is part of the security, the works of player just inside the box, he gave. This can also prevent you to use CopyFile as Steve suggested. If CopyFile work you can copy the template after you download to the local folder. You may also be able to use the template in the location specified in your files. This will work even if the normal location of the models change.

  • I can't get Macromedia Authorware Web Player to work.

    Running Vista on a 64-bit Windows computer. I can't get Macromedia Authorware Web Player to work. When I download the program I've ever seen the "film playing below. I see only a bar saying "loading files" when I try to open a file in Authorware.

    If you are using IE7 or IE8 and Vista then try to add adobe.com to the trusted sites list. This will make the site open to disable protected mode. You can delete the site from the list of trusted sites once you're done, if you wish. It should not affect other content that you are running.
