Hello
I am from the Netherlands, and I really want to buy the iPhone SE. One of my friends goes to Boston and New York soon and he offered to pick one for me. I have a question about free iPhone simlock SE. Is the iPhone that you buy without the always free simlock contract carrier? I also read on the website of the iPhone is that the Sprint network does not support a free iPhone simlock SE. I wonder if it is the case for the Netherlands 'KPN' network as well, although I guess that's not? Are there differences between Americans and Europeans iPhones free simlock people are aware off the coast? My local carrier said that if I buy a fre simlock iPhone SE they can change my sim card from my current subscription to fit the iPhone SE. I wonder if this is possible if I buy an American iPhone SE as well.
I can't contact the American Apple support that I am in the Netherlands. I hope someone can help out me.
Kind regards
Phone purchased directly from the Apple store at full price is unlocked (personal experience)
