Isolate unused images in the site

I have a folder full of images, but there are some that are not used in the site. I was wondering if it was possible to isolate all unused images somehow so that I can remove them. Is this possible?

Appreciate any advice.

You can check for orphaned files: window > results > Link Checker. Select "Check links for all current Local Site" in the Green twirly icon on the left side of the Panel. Because you are looking for image-orphans, you may not want to double-click on them in the window of results... they will be open in your image editor. But you will get a list of orphaned files, showing the trajectory. This list can be saved as an xml file by clicking on the icon at the bottom (below the twirly green) or simply used as a reference while you drag the files listed (in the files Panel) in a folder "orphanage" that you can then remove it from the folder of your site to safes.

Another way to check (if you do not have a large raft of imaqes to check) is to do a "find" on all of them... without a replacement... If the file name appears anywhere in your site, you will get a list of citations showing the path and a code fragment showing the name of the image. In the results window, when you double-click on, you will be redirected to the page (DW has opened for you) and the line where it occurs.

Because you're looking for "orphans", however, that only learn you the results list 'find' If your file is used in code in your site. If this is the case, you do not want to remove it. If this isn't the case, you can safely squirrel off in this "folder of the orphanage.

I like the second method a little better than the first, but between the two, you should be golden.

    You can actually set the same preference under the covers that you would use on Firefox for desktop PC: permissions.default.image. Here's where and how:

    (1) open a new tab to Subject: config (type about: config the Awesomebar and hit the arrow go or tap Enter).

    You can bookmark it for easy future access.

    (2) in the search box, type perm and make a pause while Firefox filter list

    3 scroll to permissions.default.image and type it, and then use the up arrow (^) to change the value from 1 to 2 (of 'allow all' on ' block all the ').

    If you go back to your other tab and load a new page, the images must be missing (assuming that they are not cached).

    Success?

    If there is an add-on for it (I have not checked) that might be easier if you find a site where you want the images because it is a hassle to switch back using about: config.

    Then select the media tab, and then click the first item in the list. Use the down arrow key to scroll the list. If any element has the option 'Images of block of (field name)' selected, deselect the option.

    Some add-ons can also block images, for example, if you have AdBlock Plus installed, make sure that you have not accidentally created a filter to block images.

    Are you using the publication or the file > Upload FTP host... to download your site? Or are you export HTML in a folder and download using a third-party FTP program?

    A report of a site randomly scrambled after update is usually due to now to download all of THE files and folders in the exported site. The files for a web site are closely related. Each Muse update includes changes in the generated code (i.e. for new features, bugs to workaround in updates of the browser, to improve the performance of loading page, to address bugs, etc.). Each file and folder that is part of the muse of export so re-uploaded the first time that you export from a newer version of Muse.

    I recently downloaded our www.acaciarecording.com Web site. I ran into the problem that the only page that loads correctly in Netscape or IE is the homepage, all subsequent pages, the only thing that will load the html text and alt tags, no image won't load. I compared the code on the homepage vs. others and see no visible difference - although I am not educated in writing code. Safari operates the site beautifully. Any ideas?

    Open the image in the Contribute browser window by typing the path in the address window. Then file > Actions > delete.

    I know that there must be a way to do it, but for the life of me, I can't figure out how to change the anti aliasing on export for the screens. Right now the functionality is not usable for me because the exported images have terrible anti aliasing on links causing irregular contours that customers are complaining (look how she is using optimized type aa even on related images?). Normally the optimized art anti aliasing will do (in a perfect world, the application must really understand this and apply different aliasing objects according to whether they are text or links), but it is not an option on this feature. All links are adobes own PSD and PDF formats files. He can not find in the settings or the other.     You can change the option active optimized type or art optimized in the export Format Options for both PNG and JPG. Click the option button in the upper right of the box well export and select Format settings in the list.
