• Google Drive storage for audio issues

  Trying to help my husband, an author, after the fact. He is working on a book and has compiled several gigabytes of audio interviews. Everything on Garageband as files uncompressed aif. It is not technically suitable.

  He saved all his Google Reader without doing them anything. Now, he's out of space on his computer.

  The files are all over Google Drive and appear to be good - but he needs to remove the originals on his computer to continue working.

  In order for me to check that they are there in the cloud and working, I have to download each one and launch iTunes, is this correct? Because it does not convert, there is no way for me to play them where they reside on Google Drive?

  I understand that you have a few questions about your husband works with some AIFF files but are out of space on his Mac. Revisit some information to get it work.

  Now your initial assessment is correct, you need to download and play in iTunes to check. Now he can covert the audio files in a different file format that will reduce the size of the files it works with to save space.   I installed the Google Reader (which I used without problem for years).

  I dragged files in there and let him sit and synchronization from one day to the next.

For each disable/remove, you need to restart if you do them all at once.

  I also have the option 'Download Chrome' or 'Applet install', and when I click on install applet, the message "Failed to install Java Applet" appears after a few seconds.

  I'm on OS X 10.8.5, the two Firefox and Java are the last activated version. I went in the Java settings in system preferences and made sure it was "enabled", I deleted the folder for temporary files as well, I also deleted from my history in Firefox and cookies, cache and restarted.

  I don't know what else to do, please help, I do not want to install Chrome.

  I think I know what is happening.

  Please try these steps:

  • Click on the lock to the left of the URL (https://drive.google.com/#my-drive).
  • Click on 'more information... ».
  • Click "Permissions".
  • In the section "activate the Plugins', search for 'Java (TM) Platform SE 7 U' and select 'allow '.
  • Close the "Page Info" window.
  • Follow "Transfer files through Google Drive (in one browser other than Chrome)" to https://support.google.com/drive/answer/2424368 once more.

  Let us know if that fixes the problem.

• Google Drive, taking up the iPad storage

  I installed the Google Drive app on my iPad and have noticed she was taking ~ 5 GB of storage iPads.  I thought that all files stored in Google Drive were stored in the cloud.  Does anyone know why Google Drive takes over this storage?

  They are stored in the cloud, but they are local mirror, so that they take up space locally. You can use Dropbox instead, but DO NOT create a local folder to synchronize.

• iCloud drive a replacement of Google Drive: auto synchronization of folder?

  Because I like to try to stay in the Apple ecosystem as much as possible, I am finally moving to an investigation on iCloud Drive on my Mac as a substitute for Google Drive, which I am currently using.

  Why I use Google Drive: so that my documents on my Mac is accessible when I'm on my iPhone and iPad. (Pretty good the way Drop Box works, I think)

  My question: is it possible to have My Documents folder on my Mac automatically sync with iCloud Drive, so that if I work on my Mac and create a new document (which can be found in the Documents folder), it will be automatically uploaded to iCloud by car?

  I know this must be a matter of common/simple, but my research could not get a satisfactory answer.

  If you have enough room on your iCloud Drive create a new folder called "Documents" and place it in the iCloud drive:

• iPad Pro can I open and save files to dropbox/Google Drive

  I want to use the iPad Pro as a professional tool. I want to be able to save Pages/Keynote and http://bit.ly/joc0zm (all IOS apps) to and from the iPad.

  This is a critical flaw in the ability to use the device correctly. It is not a problem with the Pro Surface.

  Did you use an ios device before?  iOS works differently than OS X.  There is no system of separator file for the user to interact with.  You must look into each app to see how the application saves files.   Look for the icon of the export.  A box with an arrow on the top.  TAP etc.

  Where are you stuck?  What workflow does not work? Describe.

  Have you downloaded the dropbox app on your ipad?

  Procreate.  If you can no longer export to Dropbox, you will need to contact the authors.

  I activated the Parental control, but it blocks Google DRIVE.

  I can access: Google Gmail, Calendar, finance, Sites, groups, etc.

• GarageBand download dropbox or Google Drive

  Hi all, I have a serious problem.

  I would use my Garageband app on my ipad to export and to transfer a project to Google Drive or Dropbox file, because these are the two applications I use most to store my files, music and photography, but when I try to download, all I get is this load bar that gets stuck and never moves.

  It is not just to transfer my files to my Dropbox or Google Drive. What I'm doing wrong here?

  I have everything set up correctly, and again, it won't work. Can someone please tell me what to do, I just want to download a simple project to one of my boxes online.

  Is it possible to do this? I guess it must be because otherwise, it would not be an option to add disk Dropbox or Google to your export of Garageband preferences. But why it does not work?

  I'm having the same problem with Dropbox. I am able to browse my Dropbox from Garageband files and select a backup destination, but then a popup saying "Uploading."... ' (with a Cancel button) appears and freezes until the device goes to sleep. When to unlock my phone, I'm back on the song selection screen, and nothing has been transferred to Dropbox.

  Quite frustrating since Dropbox Exim has been my feature request #1 for a very long time.

  Using an iPhone with iOS 9.2.1 and GarageBand 2.1 6s.

  Dropbox and Google Drive is no longer displays the custom folder icons and also loses their custom viewfinder icons of integration 'sync' and right click on the files to share them easily using Finder.

  I've seen this also happens with icons initially being there being deleted. I found today that launches applications (I don't have login more) then changing the icons to integrate options, then the reactivation, they are now in the finder. I had to close all the windows in the finder and open a new one to make it work.

  Fingers crossed, so far, the icons remain in place and I have the integration features, you also talked.

  Hope this helps, in case of failure for me I'll let you know.

  I bought my Moto-X on the release of Verizon, a white, 16 GB version. My question is has this promotion Google Drive available when I bought the phone and if not, is there a chance that I'm able to receive? 50 GB of storage is really nice for a phone that can hold 16GB, especially given that the majority of the storage is my Spotify playlists.

  So I think if you open the Google Drive application on the phone is where I got 50 GB promotion sign. I bought mine on September 11 and got 50 GB for 2 years. Let me know what you find.

• Google Drive not visible in the tree structure Diadem Navigator

  In our company, we use Google Apps. Google Reader is a handy tool to use to ensure the instant backup of your files. However, my problem is I don't think Google Reader in the Navigator tree structure, at least not systematically. There were occasions where the drive was visible, but now I can't find. The reader has no doubt exists and is accessible in Windows Explorer. Anyone know what could be the problem and how to fix it (except avoid Google Drive as working space)?

  Thanks for your suggestion, it worked very well worked.

  But before I tried to add a new drive, I've been playing with different modes in the browser tab. I discovered in the mode 'Data bank' with 'My computer' as source (or root), the directory structure has no problem to display Google Reader - works fine.

  High til' today, I didn't know there are two display modes available, I've always been using the mode "data search". In the mode "Data search" Google Reader does not appear when you try to navigate to the local C drive. In the 'data' finder Google Reader mode is only available when add you it as a drive in Windows Explorer.

  So long story short, if you want to have easy access without problem to your Google Reader in DIAdem, add it as a drive in Windows Explorer.
