• In Fireworks/Dreamweaver image alignment problem

  For my webbie, I made an image of 'big' using Photoshop and brought in Fireworks (I use CS4 programs btw). I slit to the top of the image based on the table, I wanted to, and each section has exported as .png files (it should be png for various reasons). My image size is 600px by 800px w h.

  So, I create a table in Dreamweaver and in each cell, I insert the .png files.

  Now, my problem is that

  some cells are not aligned correctly (in two places) and eventually shifing the whole line on so it extends.

  Now, I know that the logical thing is to check that each row adds up to 800px.

  I already did and here are the steps for each cell:
  For line 2, I: 341, 130 and 329.
  For line 4, I: 166, 93, 93, 96, 93, 95 and 164.

  And as you can see, these add up to 800.

  I just end up with a sort of space between my cells...

  the pictures I have provided shows that the range of property is when I click a cell or one of the spaces between cells.

  Again, this isn't a valid HTML document. Your page is running in Quirks Mode, which means that browsers do not know how to make.   Where did you get this code?  She is certainly not DW.

  In DW, tap file > New > Page > basic HTML

  Switch to code view.  Copy & paste your code from table into the new document, and save it as a file test.html.

• Issue weird policies Windows w/Quickbooks

  It started all of a sudden. The use of Quickbooks 2009 if I find, preview or print anything that has a sign "$" I see rather a ' Z$ '. I copied my data file to another PC and it is fine. I uninstalled Qbooks and remove any substance left on the drive hard or in the registry before reinstalling it and the problem persists. I uninstalled and updated the video driver and the printer drivers. Intuit sayd, it must be a problem of fonts in Windows. Any suggestions? I saw no sign of trouble anywhere else.

• Issue custom policies

  I want my web to be clean fonts menu. is went to "add web fonts" menu and deleted all the custom fonts, I added before and still find the old custom fonts. Uninstalled Muse, resettlement and look what I found in the menu fonts: my old custom fonts.

  Please help to to get rid of these custom fonts.

  I think that the second question you said (which resembles some weight/styles of several fonts do not work after you have added as local) may also be why the menu fonts is not cleaned properly.

  I was wondering how to embed fonts using code and not the library - the examples I've used are send me errors, so I'm obviously not understand something.

  I originally implemented a policy of library and managed to do work correctly by using the following code, but ideally, I'd like to integrate using the right code.

  You can embed fonts dynamically by creating a swf for each font file, load the desired swf file and then embed the fonts contained in the loaded swf file.

• I need help uninstalling/reinstalling CS4

  My MacBookPro died and I had to reboot time Machine. And, as has happened before, whenever disaster strikes me and I lose time and files, pious Adobe of me unlicensing and there are always 1-2 weeks to get my Adobe products working again. (Sorry for starting with a mug shot, but that's why I like Adobe products, but have learned to hate society).

  I have fire Fireworks + Dreamweaver + Flash CS4 bundle, and I know it must be reinstalled. And I expect to have to uninstall what is already on my drive.

  But when I ran Uninstall Adobe Flash CS4, it acted like it was remove some items, and then I got an error trying to delete almost everything. And when I look in my directories, applications are still there. I select the option not to remove preferences so I don't lose all my Dreamweaver settings for my servers.

  But that means that I was not able to uninstall applications, and my question is what should be deleted if I just drag the apps to the trash.

  In the past, it's the re - install which is practically impossible because my versions updates date of there 15 years and improvements originally, I was able to use one is no longer recognized. (So much for the promises that were given to us when the authorization was introduced in the apps: we wouldn't you worry about locked out apps that we have already - that this promise was not true.)

  If resettlement after manual removal of the files did not help, you might be better off fresh install of CS4 after a clean install of the operating system.

• CC of Dreamweaver appearing is not in the extension manager

  I just installed Dreamweaver CC (13.2%) and fires Fireworks CC and would like to re - enable JSP support.  However, Dreamweaver does not appear in the extensions (6.0.8.28) Manager.  Fireworks makes its appearance.

  If anyone else has had this?  Is there a solution?

  All sorted.  I had to install the extension manager for CC first, before installing the extension of JSP support.

  So, I would like to begin by mentioning that I am new on forum culture and am willing to be despised for my noobness, linked to a more in-depth discussion, or just a simple shot of dam experts said what are you doing kid?

  That being said, I created a web design using slices in Illustrator, export said slices as CSS dreamweaver and fragmentary designed headers, body text, text boxes, images, and general stuff of Visual design in photoshop for the site. For example, I did a text box containing a picture and a bar of semi transparent background with the text in photoshop. I "connect" to this file in dreamweaver, and it's great, yay! Oh, wait, isn't that a psd... still racking frackin slices, buttons, div tag names, etc.!

  Heres my main problem and I realize now that I shouldn't go to dreamweaver until I finished in the design process, streamlining grace from illustrator/photoshop-> Fireworks-> dreamweaver, but since I have this method simplified and instead jumped in dreamweaver with nothing other than a wire frame configuration , Well now, I have to separate each individual design in photoshop (e.g. like the text box with the image)

  How can I effectively replace the 'images' in places like the header, with clear-cut textbody, div tag css and html files exported from Fireworks so that I can say click on a link, the text or creating nifty rollovers and fades to different elementsand muhahahahaha appointed! infinite beauty.

  Now, I know that fireworks and photoshop work hand in hand, and when I take the original photoshop file and plug it into Fireworks, it breaks down into layers for me. Nice... ;) Now, I can select each individual element and set its div tag, name, etc... BUT! How I would wear this in my dreamweaver file.

• Dreamweaver integration

  I have several problems with lights of fireworks/Dreamweaver integration. You can take a look at my site - currently - www.austinparks.org to see what is my goal. When I make a change to an element of fireworks, I select the table in Dreamweaver and use the button Edit fireworks in the properties panel. Fireworks opens, I make my changes, hit done, but they do not appear in my Dreamweaver document! Or frequently - fires of artifice opens, and the painting has lost all its drop-down menus. I have to copy them to another document.
  
  So, to be sure, I opened the table with Fireworks rather than Dreamweaver. Drop-down menus are present, everything works. I use the export method in the file menu. I open the page that contains the table in Dreamweaver. The table does not seem to be updated! I delete the table, and then use the Dreamweaver "insert Fireworks HTML' command. It takes forever on a great site!
  
  Okay, so, even if all that goes well, another problem appears about half the time. My drop-down menus appear behind the lower navigation bar! I tried to change the Z-index, but the two lines forming part of the header, it won't let me. You can see an example in the http://austinparks.org/problem.html. Note how the 2nd line menu is distorted (result of export does not properly) and 1 menu line mask drop downs behind 2nd row.
  
  The solution is to find a work page, rename, copy all the content in there and keep copy page over and over again to correct each broken page. It takes forever!

  Thank you Beth and Linda. I do not end up Redo the site with layers for the drop-down lists and not at all using Fireworks. It is much simpler to code and loads faster, too. www.austinparks.org If you want to check. I had to redo the site - but I was able to use models, future upgrades go smoothly.

• Don't launch Dreamweaver cc 2015. Windows said that there is a problem

  I'm having an extremely difficult time getting Dreamweaver 2015 CC trail to launch. I downloaded, uninstalled several times than I can count. Every time when it is preparing to launch, I get the message saying that Windows has encountered a problem and needs to shut down the program. I have an Asus laptop with plenty of storage space. No problem with Captivate and Photoshop. Advice on what to do.

  What operating system do you use?

• Dreamweaver CS6 error "out of memory" as a standard domain user; works very well as an admin level user

  I have a recent issue came: a user of Dreamweaver CS6 started making one error output memory since it uses the app when I login as local administrator-level user, there is no problem. It's a Windows 7 64 bit client domain user, so that don't have local administrator rights.

  If you don't have full rights to the machine, you'll want to show the problem with your guy/gal TI.

Everything installs successfully but fires Fireworks, and since I'm a web designer, this is one of my essential tools in my workflow, all geothermal proposal?

  Dreamweaver 8 predates Windows 7 then Yes, it could be.  You can try running in compatibility mode.  Or something to think about is the fact that Adobe only allows users to upgrade earlier versions of 3.  The current version of CS5 (11) back to 3 versions.  From CS6, you pay full price again.  So as this is your last chance to upgrade, I recommend as the best route to go.
