  You have a question? AA6 is not fully compatible with Win7, probably not at all to a 64-bit system. The recommendation is to buy AAXI. If you manage to install AA6 on Win7, you can optionally change the port of the Adobe PDF printer to FILE and then print to file. It is a PS file and will then be run through Distiller to obtain a PDF file. This may or may not work for you. I've experimented with AA5 and managed in this way for a Win7 32-bit system. Not a great solution, but it may meet your need.

  I have a weird problem, when I connect my macbook pro to an external monitor. I am running Windows 10 Pro. The problem only occurs when I close the lid of the laptop. The mouse starts to act up, it applies random clicks. Have more strange is that it stops after 5 minutes or so do. However, if the cover is open and I'm working on two screens, then it is normally.

  I have this weird window that mysteriously appeared after restarting firefox. I have been unable to identify what it is, where it comes from or any other information about it.

  Found the answer to this question.

  The window is the gfxsanity.html chrome window that is used for the tests of mental health of gfx. Apparently this gets incorrectly rendered visible on occasion.

  The store is just for metro Apps that are for the metro UI, which many find boring. It's nowhere near the base of the application for Windows. It really depends on what software you're after. There are also a number of free software, but be careful advertising and malicious software preinstalled. Essentially, always use an advanced installation and do not opt to install things that you don't want. Find out about the software before you decide to install or ask on the forums of these recommendations according to what you want to do.

  Windows Update is usually only for Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office. Other software needs to be updated or will be a separate update.

  I often run CCleaner and Defraggler but not defrag if you have an SSD.

  How often one gets viruses depends on the user. If a user adheres to safe places and download locations, it may be never, I didn't anything hinder all of my installs in the last 5 years. If a user frequently uses non-official such as torrents download sources, it may be much more often.

  Malwarebytes' Antimalware crashes a lot in real time, before that they don't infect your PC, especially if the Pro version is installed.

  Theres a lot of free software and software sales. It depends on what you use. Each software will have its own price and license agreement. There is no rule to fit all.

  I found Dell or any factory OEM settings to be quite inflated and absolutely terrible in some cases. Get a new Windows installation running optimally, but you need a reinstallation DVD to do this, see my Guide for reinstalling Windows:

• Proxy issues upgrading from Windows 7 to Windows 8

  Nice day
  As a consultant, I connect via a proxy to the domain of the clients.  I installed a certificate that I received from the client to use the proxy server in the Internet Options settings, LAN settings.  I've never had connectivity problems until I recently upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 8.
  I still can't connect to the internet but I'll have to wait a few minutes for a simple BING search engine load.  Simple navigation is a problem.
  I connect using WIFI and I have full signal strength.
  When I'm back in my office, I can connect using field of the company via a WIFI/LAN connection and I have no problem.
  Any idea what would cause this proxy issue?

  It has never been compatible, or Windows 7, the first was 8.1. This is not to say that you can not have been lucky before.

• Major issue after installed Windows 10 own attempt Y500

  Idea pad Y500. 1 TB hd with 25 GB SSD. I upgraded from Windows 8.1 for Windows 10 yesterday. It went well, but I wanted a clean install. I found my new Windows key in case I needed it.   I was able to remedy. Windows loaded ten from another computer on a flash drive. Tried all the options load Windows ten Setup/BIOS and none of them would work. Said that my discs were badly formatted. Finally, I disconnected the flash player and magically it started with a new copy of Windows 8. I have redownloaded Windows 10 and loaded, now it works perfectly.

• HP never will issue a driver Windows 7 for Color Laserjet 3500

  When I did installs it of Win 7 months ago, my 3500 worked and could be shared.  When I had to do an install of Win 7 a few days ago, I lost the support of this printer.  All the facilities were "upgrades" to XP.  He worked for months.

  I must be printing color later this week.  My HP laserjet 5000 printer has been supported for 15 years.  The 3500, 6 years then nothing.  Everyone at HP can give me a good reason to buy their printers never again?

  PS, none of the workarounds posted here work for the 3500.  Note that none of the 3500 inquueries are "resolved".

  So, no reason to not to drop this 3500 in a trash can and go Ricoh HP forever?

  And I guess my other question is answered by omission.

  HP will selectively issue loyalty or product drivers for OS updates, based on cost considerations rather than questions of customer lifecycle.

  The positive side to that is that I'll save a lot of money in the future, now that I know that HP loyalty is one-way.  Now I can shop strictly on the life-cycle cost and performance!

• Help! Computer connection issues / printer after Windows 7 upgrade

  I HOPE THAT SOMEONE HERE CAN HELP ME!  I am frustrated beyond belief.

  I have upgraded from Vista to Windows 7.  My computer is a hp dv5 pc, 64-bit.  My wireless printer is a hp OfficeJet J4680c.  Before the upgrade, wireless printing was perfect.

  Since the upgrade, when I try to print, two things will happen:

  (1) when I try to print, there is a mistake that the document cannot print.

  OR

  (2) when I try to print, the printer icon appears that the document will print, but nothing happens.  When I right click and open the Active printer, it shows that it is "printing", however the number of pages displayed is n/a.  After 2-3 minutes, the document simply disappears from the print screen, as if it printed.

  I went through the troubleshooting steps on my hp PC help & support, I have read the forums for hours and tried various fixes, I went through the center of solutions hp printer troubleshooting steps...

  The final diagnosis is that the computer is unable to 'find' the printer. Here is some additional information:

  I was able to print occasionally during the troubleshooting process (see below for more information)

  All the drivers are up to date.

  Computer and the printer are connected to the same network wireless in my house.

  Whenever I have manually print the "HP Network Configuration Page," it shows that the printer is "ready".

  Windows defender is OFF

  The Windows Firewall is DISABLED

  3rd party firewall Vipre has been RUNNING, with the same results to be

  What follows can offer anyone a clue as to the problem:

  Four times during this process of troubleshooting, I completely uninstalled printer and then reinstalled using the updated driver and instructions on the hp Web site.

  Whenever during the installation process, the computer does not find the printer, and I have to manually enter the IP address of the printer.  Then, the computer does not find the printer, and the installation continues.  Until he comes to the end, when it is completed at 98%. Then, I get a message:

  "Rediscovery printer detected problems. Maybe your PC is not able to track changes in the online status of your printer. If you use firewall software, make sure the port UDP 427 is unblocked from your printer at 192.168.0.5 for your PC. To resolve the problem, try to feed your printer market. »

  Then, I give myself a choice or continue installing the software without connecting to the printer, or to continue with the installation of the printer.

  When I tried the first choice, install the software without the printer, then I went back later to install the printer. During the installation of the printer, I'm at the same point at 98%, with the same message.

  I also tried to install the printer in any case and it ends up all right, and then the printer worked for a day or two. But after a day or two, I'll be once more cannot print, and I will either receive the error message, otherwise it is not only print (SEE the BEGINNING OF THIS POST).

  I've tried everything I know to do and no message forum or troubleshooting is now offering me any new information.

  Can you help me???

  Have you tried the 'updates' on this page?  There is a couple who look like they would help.
