  Hi, I work at the CS6 and have been for the last 2 years no problem now, when I'm trying to copy and paste the text in the original font that will not work. No matter if I stick to the front or the back or in place, it will not work. If I saw it, no problem, but that doesn't help me. Any ideas?

  So, it seems to be fixed now. I went to the Programs/Accessorises/Run/%temp%/Delete all them all (all the programs close) / restarted my computer and it seems to work very well this morning. Will be interesting on how it goes.

• Creator of the title will not copy and paste text

  Dear all,

  I create two titles for a video project, but I want to copy some of the text of a title and to include also in the two title.  I can't get the copy/paste feature works from a title to the second.   It is sticky old copy which seems to be frozen in the copy function and is not the text that I want.  Is it possible to empty the copy that seems to have stopped in the function of memory copy and get the new text in?  I don't want to double tap.  I even tried creating a new title 3, but this old text is still to come through!

  In addition, PP suddenly won't close.  I have to close it several times before, she leaves.  I don't know if you're having an impact any on the other.

  Simply create a new title based on the current title and delete the parts you don't want.

• problem of copy / paste with the default text in the chronology of the APE14

  I am four weeks nine with first elements 14. Here's my problem: I inserted into the timeline, "default text", that is, names and other info.  Then I copied and pasted this 'default' text in another place in the timeline.  But when I edited the content of the second "default text", it automatically changes the first default text in the first box, too.  But I don't want to 'default' box 1 to change and be the same as the "default text box" 2, except to keep the same type of policy and the same settings I put in place in the first box.

  You can do copy/paste for your securities without a montage and end up with the same edit for all.

  Instead...

  1. create the first title in the Titler.

  2. with the firm titration module, go to Expert active project workspace, right-click the thumbnail for the title, select duplicate.

  3. drag this duplicate to the timeline when you double-click it to open the module of titration for changes of it.

  4 and so on.

  It's the same for Premiere Elements (14 and earlier versions).

  Please review and then I would know if I target the information you were looking for.

  I've seen similar discussions, but none of the answers are no help for me as of today.

  Background:

  I am running OS X Yosemite 10.10

  All my CC applications are updated to the (01/11/14)

  I'm also updating on all other software on my Mac

  My goal:

  Copy text in illustrator

  Stick it in the Mail and TextEdit Notes live editable text

  Results:

  Text glue as pdf or some type of an image according to the application

  What it looks like:

  

  I'll start from the beginning to avoid questions later.

  I open a new document in Illustrator.

  

  These are the settings to Clipboard in my preferences.

  Please Note - I tried all combinations of these parameters. Turn them on and off one at a time and in combination does nothing to change the final product. I have disabled them all for this example, in order to scramble the not.

  

  I type the text. I did not use a text box in this example. I just clicked on the page with the text tool and type this line. There are no additional attributes. You can see that the parameters of characters are the most basic. Yet once, please note - I tried to use a text box with the same result.

  

  I use the text tool to highlight the text, then copy the text. I do not use the selection tool to select the text and copy.

  

  This is what looks like the Clipboard. Note that the content is "text".

  If I type the text in PS (for example) and copy to the Clipboard, it says "text". However, the text that I copy off PS I can stick anywhere in the editable text.

  If I type the text in the Notes and copy to the Clipboard, it said RTF. This text can also be pasted anywhere text as editable.

  This leads me to believe that it is a problem centered on Illustrator I have experience.

  

  I click in the body of an email and paste. Seems fine, but when I try to click in the text (for example, between the words 'in' and 'Mail') I can't do.

  

  The line of words is highlighted and not editable.

  

  If I click with the right button on the image of the text line and select "Open the attachment" you can see the Clipboard pasted as uneditable text and .pdf.

  

  Interestingly, if I open a new note and try to paste the line of text, it sticks as a .pdf file but just the icon appear. Double clicking on the icon will open the text in PDF in acrobat.

  I don't have this problem until the CC2014 updates were made. I would like to know if there is something that can be done, or is this a bug in Illustrator. If it's a bug I don't want to spend time looking for workarounds. I will use another program when I know there's a lot of work to copy / paste to do. It's embarrassing for my Illustrator old files that have now issue when I open them in CC2014.

  I know that I can use the "paste and match style" but it's a force of habit to use the shortcut for paste. It is also a ridiculous change of Illustrator for the cut/paste to act that way. If indeed it was planned and not a bug, what would be the advantage?

  If someone saw the problem that I am eager to know what is happening.

  Finally, if there is no other way to solve this problem then can anyone remind me how to customize the combinations of shortcut keys in Mail, Notes, and TextEdit? I seem to remember (long ago) being able to customize certain shortcuts in some applications, but I've never done in something else that Adobe applications and even then it was CS5.

  Hello, I finally found away around this really annoying "bug" / "Headache" If you select the text (NOT with the text with the cursor tool) then right click and select "export selection" ( http://i.imgur.com/gM0hIPR.png ) and export it to SVG ( http://i.imgur.com/QaWiOYl.png ) and then open what you export in your browser (Internet explorer, chrome ect) and you can copy the text from there ( http://i.imgur.com/YJuE8JX.png ). I was very disappointed because even to try to copy it from Adobe Illustrator into Adobe Muse all right programs would freeze and close so I think he calls a 'suite' when you can not just simply copy and paste text from one to another is a bit of a cheek. Anyway hope this helped someone out there in the world

  By topic titles, we have a javascript that worked in InDesign CS4 with enable n-copy-paste, we have noticed recently, n-copy-paste no longer works in CS5 - CS6 when the windows prompt appears. The script itself still works well, but without the ability to copy - paste text, it slows down us a little. We noticed if the copy and paste is done via the Edit menu then the prompt window will accept the pasting and continues to ignore anything else copied from office and elsewhere. Adobe has broken something with CS5 or more? Anyone has similar problem or has a solution? It's one thing to setting preferably need changed?

  Yeh, a right-click with a mouse works; simply not CMD - V on the keyboard (mac).

  I can copy 'text' of anywhere outside InDesign and it works too.

  Try a simple Reset: hold down the Home and Power buttons until you see the Apple logo (10 to 20 seconds).

  Regarding text editing, would be only considered the problem of copy / paste? We currently do not support the copy and paste, but obviously, that will come in the future.

  The operating system would prohibit me files copy/paste and drag and drop files text copy and paste all of a sudden.   You must enable the universal Adobe paragraph composer and change the language of Hindi. The former in the of paragraph Style Options > Justification > composer and the second in paragraph Styles of Options > advanced character formats > language.

  It works on my Mac 10.11.2/CC 2015.1

  I can select/copy/paste of Notes.app on a text layer, but it does not keep the formatting.

  As for why it works on mine and not yours, I can't say.

  I select the type tool, type some text, create a text layer.

  Instead of copying the pixels (what does your process) instead do a right-click on the text layer - select «Duplicate layer...» "and where it says - Destination - click on the dropdown next to"Document"and the change to the file that you are trying to move the text to.
