  It is probably not going to be a version of Thunderbird anytime soon, because there has been no development on a mobile version first and due to the much more limited development of Thunderbird past now as evidenced by the versions of Thunderbird for Windows, Mac OSX and Linux compared to Firefox.

  Last fall, I installed Thunderbird for Windows on my PC. I'm very happy with it and plans to install the version for iOS on my ipad. I wonder if 2 versions would be able to communicate with each other. Specifically, they will be able to: share address books (I have an address book very large on my PC version and want the ipad version to access), models (have several designed on my PC that I wish I could share), share records of messages sent and received between the two versions, etc. Is this possible?
