  Place a fade on top a dissolution can cause unexpected results for the balance.

  A suggestion for a better (more reliable) way to fade in multiple layers - especially when these layers are compositing - is to place a Black video clip (you can generate a new element function) on a layer above several clips you want to fade in or out and then just melted this black clip to fade in the lower layers , or fade the back clip to Dim lower layers.

  Not having dissolved individual on each track also makes it easier to adjust the fade in and out, as you only need to adjust the length of the transition from one dissolve applied to your black clip.

  Hi, I just bought Photoshop elements and Elements 9 package first. Problem is that I'm a simple guy who does a lot of video films for my work and I want to just a very simple type transition ' fade in ' to merge my video clips.   The standard disslove or bland cross that comes with PE9 I would thought would achieve what you want.

  You can have either before or after the jump line or any also riding on it.

  Simply insert a line break and just drag the effect to the line break.

  There is another way that you don't need the 'effects', but gives you full control of the transition.

  When you want that the audio fade differently at the video, I put a break in the video and slide the rear part until the second video track and drag it a little earlier by the length of the fade or disslove.

  Then make a right click on the clip I select fade in and out on the top rail and change the yellow lines in the titles to get the right timing.

  For example. You want to remove a complete sentence in an interview. You insert a points on the yellow line audio quickly melted and lower the audio before the transition begins to remove the first word of the sentence not desired while retaining a bit of video. Next, dissolve or wipe the following sentence to mean that you deleted something rather than to have a jump cut.

  12 second crossfade doesn't work is not on iTunes version 12.4.

  This seems to be a bug in 12.4.0 - I've not seen reported bugs or workarounds, so you will have to wait for the next update or restore a previous version to have this feature.

  iPod (except iPod touch which is a device like the iPhone iOS) is not associated with your Apple ID.  Your iPod is associated with the iTunes library to synchronize.  Your computer and its iTunes library can be attached to your Apple (and iCloud), but your iPod is not.

  You can configure iTunes to fade each song in (increase volume) while the previous song is by train, so there is no gap of silence between tracks. This feature is called a transition.

  1. Choose iTunes > Preferences, then click play.
  2. Select crossfade songs.

  • If I export a song with "share > song about iDisk" and select the measurements, I want to be exported wit the sequence in a loop and mark "Cycle region", I get exactly the selected measures.

  So try a visit to export to your desktop first and then add the song to iTunes manually with "file > add to library."  That works for me.

  do you see this line on the screen when the Apple logo?  If you do, it is probably a hardware problem.  If the line is not there at the start, but returns after the iPod starts, you can do a restore of the iPod using iTunes.  This d erases the IPO, reinstall its software and sets it to the default settings.

  If the problem persists after the restore, the cause is likely to be hardware problem.
