JellyBean with 4.6 mobile app issues

I have two questions which seem to me can be connected. I created an app for Android without integrated execution (so users must download AIR). It has been working well. Recently, we have a few users say that their device says that our app is not compatible with their version. We ASSUME that it is a matter of JellyBean - but we guess right here.

1 are there problems with JellyBean or other devices, and a compiled application of non-integrated-runtime 4.6?

Now, this is where it gets weird:

2 so I guess it might have something to do with Flash jettisoned and decide to just try with the integrated application. When I do, the application load fine - sort of. While the application loads seems not able to get connectivity to our back-end ('cloud' basic database) data. We believe that it must be part of the access to remote (via BlazeDS) data objects when the runtime is integrated. More information: it works very well in the emulator - but I do not know how when talking about integrated lasting, etc. the emulator.

At first, I thought that the user didn't have a stable internet connection (which would have cast the same mistake) and then I was able to reproduce on my own device on which I have obviously checked to make sure I had respect.

Thoughts? I don't know where to look for it and Google is no help.

Found the solution (can not believe the person on the other has answered this yet - well, I guess I can believe it). In any case, the problem is with the version of AIR being packed. I am currently using Flex 4.6. This version, and as the case (so far) in the 4.7 version, you must update the AIR SDK manually.

Here's what I did:

I went to my XML file root (in the src package) and changed the minimum required AIR runtime (not sure if this is a mandatory step, but one of them I did and now it works - it certainly won't hurt). Here's how the first two lines now, look:

Note that the only thing that I changed was the version number at the end of 3.1 to 3.4 (the most recent version of AIR). Save and build.

Then is the last step. You must downlaod and update Adobe SDK and manually replace it on your local machine. The official adobe instructions on this can be found here:

Although I found their slightly confusing instructions. Here's my revised version...

Download Adobe AIR SDK from this link:

You'll want to unpack this and copy this to an existing folder. Here's where I was confused initially - within this SDK files are not complete. They are not the entire file. Thus, you need to copy (or move) the files in the ZIP file in the right folder. This is the second point which was confusing - exactly which folder. Go to this folder on your local drive:

C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Adobe Flash Builder 4.6\sdks

This directory was two subfolders. 4.6.0 and 3.6.0. At first I thought that these referred to the version numbers AIR SDK, which has no sense (obviously) since the last current version is 3.4. These are the directories for the Flash/Flex builder, satisfied. So, I never do the compilation back so I took both of these files and COPIED to a folder 'archives' I created my backup. So I just copied the files from the newly downloaded SDK AIR and moved them in the 4.6.0 folder (always found in... \sdks\4.6.0). As I mentioned earlier, this is going to crush some, but not all the files (as it is not a replacement of the entire folder).

I understand that all makes sense a lot better when I take a step back and watch, but when you try just the things in the hope that it will solve a problem you can't find google/forum/that this be a single answer to it can be confusing.

In any case, I hope that this helps someone out there. I will list some of the things that I was doing here in the case that someone else looking for the same thing.

I was facing the same error after installing the patches for (application Mobile Designer) and restarts as all OBIEE components as well as the server,

nothing worked except the same error 404 for the last two days.

so, here the path to get the fixed number advances now.

now, I logged in and click on new Mobile app, it worked as expected and it solved the problem.

VIZIO Smart TV with built-in Skype App receives "orange badges", but other Skype applications show nothing...

First off I apologize for opening a new thread if this has been discussed before... As I am a noobie on this interesting platform... lol

Now I just installed Windows for the desktop app and have Windows 8 MS (appstore) and also have Windows Phone 8 Mobile Skype mobile app...

The TV Vizio app was open with my Skype account, and applications above all with a merged account are Microsoft and Skype...

All my contacts appear fine and precise... I sent "contact request" to all my Facebook contacts and outlook.com.

Open my Skype TV app and see 2 "Orange badges" for each new contact... which means that these 2 contacts have accepted my invitation...

However, when I open the application of Windows desktop, Windows 8 app or application Mobile of WP, there nothing... no orange badge... in the recent section... This has been almost 48 hours...

Is this a problem...?

Please help because it's pretty frustrating... lol

The question is the Skype widget on the TV seems to freeze in place... that I have reviewed this issue on Vizio website... so now I have to wait util contact invitations (orange badge) appear in one of the applications above...

As I can't switch to answer... as it turns...

Well I contacted Support and they informed me that the Smart TV Skype widget is (of course) a different architecture then other Skype platforms mentioned above... (which I kind of knew)...

Bottom line return "contact invitations" again and wait patiently... lol

I have difficulties to make the mobile app

I made an html document, which is added to the desktop app and followed all the steps for the installation of mobile but when I launch the app it does not show on my phone. I use windows and I tried on the iOS and Android phones, but not luck. I have to optimize something in the html doc to support this? Thank you

Step back first. Create a new project. This will seed it with the basic model. Using this model, try to get it to appear on the Mobile of PhoneGap application. jQuery Mobile app does not work on OS5 telephone, but works in Simulator

I'm trying to run a simple jQuery Mobile (beta2) app on my phone and its does not work.

Had been a working app and it worked on the Simulator, but didn't have a screen on the phone Curve8900.

Then I created a simple jQuery Mobile app that displays a header, content (with listview) and the foot.

When I insert in the Simulator, it looks fine, but when I charge the phone it loads and displays a white screen with a small gray square at the top left of the screen... (perhaps 30 x 30 pixels or less)

(the rest of the screen is green, because I put the bottom in the config.xml file to green)

According to this example JQuery 1.5.2 seems to work on 5.0. Do you need a feature of 1.6.2 otherwise maybe try this library instead.

BlackBerry Smartphones Google Mobile App will not complete the installation.

I don't have a data plan, so I can't get the App Store. This is the case, I went to Google to download Mobile from Google directly (via WiFi). I was able to do, but when I went to run the application, he said he needed to complete the installation, and after that for a while, he said that it was impossible to complete the installation. SX10 Smart Phone Remote control Mobile App

I saw a video recently of the launch of telepresence SX10 Endpoint and although the device provided with a remote control basic demo included the use of a Smartphone app to control endpoint. I don't know if it was an IOS or Android mobile app but have checked on the Appstore and Google game but have been unable to find it.

Anyone know what mobile OS, the app is and if it is still accessible to the public? Thank you very much

What mobile apps work best on?

I'm looking into buying a tablet that works well with mobile applications adobe for on the road editing. I was wondering if it made more sense to buy an iPad Pro, or a Pro 4 of Microsoft Surface? I'm leaning toward the Microsoft device, however, I'm not 100% positive that these applications are available on other operating systems that aren't iOS or Android. In addition to this, I'm not sure if Adobe would record the Microsoft product like a laptop, causing problems if I buy one that has less than 8 GB of RAM.
