  Could you make sure that you use the latest version of Lightroom (check from help > updates)

  Please uncheck "Use processor graphics" under Preferences > Performance

  Then, restart Lightroom and try again

  

  If that didn't help, copy the card on the desktop images in Explorer/Finder

  Then import these desktop images in Lightroom

  Just fixed this problem for me:

  Open the file/Program files (x 86).

  Search: vcredist_x64.exe

  3 results popped up for me. I ran all three and it fixed the problem for me. Hope this works for you as well.

  honestly, I think the only way is to restore everything as default, but you probably need the Acer recovery media if ALT + F10 boot does not work.

  I tried to fix it too, but it has not helped, so I uninstalled and tried to reinstall but there has not helped either. I tried almost everything I've seen in other posts.

  Try to repair the Apple Software Update of the programs and features Control Panel, then uninstall it and then reinstall iTunes.

  For general advice, see troubleshooting problems with iTunes for Windows updates.

  The steps described in the second case are a guide to remove everything related to iTunes and then rebuild what is often a good starting point, unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach.

  Review the other boxes and other support documents list to the bottom of the page, in case one of them applies.
