K272HL monitor has bad driver on Web site

Everyone knows something like that?  When I plugged my new monitor K272HL my PC recognized it immediately and my device manager showed is that the monitor of K272HL in his list of devices. I didn't install anything. However, a few days later I noticed that photos on Web sites suddenly aren't looking right. I went to the Device Manager and found that the monitor was now being listed as a generic PNP monitor. The K272HL is not found. I disconnected the monitor and reconnected again. Still no luck, it seems that the driver has simply disappeared.

So I went to download the driver for the monitor K272HL , but the driver that is contained in the file is for a monitor of K192HQL , not the K272HL. I advanced and tried, but it is certainly not the right driver.

I spent half an hour on the cat tries to convince the guy that the driver was hurt after uploading again several times. Finally, he gave me a number to call. After going through basically the same thing with the person I spoke to and finally convince the driver was wrong, he told me could not help me and to remind early the next day.

After 30 minutes on the phone with another phone support person, I think that the person manages to convince that the driver was wrong and said that he contacted someone else should be fixed in the next 24 to 48 hours. Certainly he has only 24 hours, but the wrong driver is always there. I hope that someone in the audience could have just sent me the good driver zip file is very small, but apparently they are not able to do it with their system or they only got the same bad driver like me.

It has been frustrating because all I want is the driver so that the images look OK, once again and my computer recognizes it as the monitor who really is. I can hardly believe, but I seem to be a person who has found a wrong link in a base of support.

I received comments that the monitor drivers have been corrected for several models. My first test found that the K272HL and the K192HQL both showed the appropriate drivers. I hope that you find the same and I look forward to any comments.

    Sunday, my wife was visiting a Web site that she often used, however, this time she got a box that says the desired Web site to use 5 meg storage on his cell phone. She and I selected do not allow again and again, because he would not accept that click.  Also, she was prevented to leave Safari, and none of these options menu bar would not work.

    I was finally able to use force quit to kill Safari, permissions drive rebuilt and restarted his macbook pro.  Alas, when we opened Safari it would just come back to this Web site, and unfortunately, the only way that she apparently managed to get out was to click on the "Allow" button

    I'm afraid now that she can have some sort of malware on his cell phone.

    Has anyone seen this before or know how trouble shoot his computer to look for what any kinky?

    From your post, I understand that when your wife has visited a particular Web site, a pop-up appeared that asked wanting to use 5 MB of storage on the Mac.  I'm not familiar with a system of pop up like that, so that nothing was installed, I recommend that search you your computer for any adware.  First, perform the steps in the Apple Support article, linked below:

    Stop advertising and pop-up advertising windows in Safari

    If you get other odd pop ups, or just to be on the safe side, you can also download and run a scanner/removal tool to adware like Malwarebytes Anti-Malware.

    Safari freezes when I visit certain websites. The sites include espn.go.com and www.nytimes.com. I think it might have something to do with the graphics on the page. I have the latest version of Adobe Flash Player installed. The gel causes me to restart the computer by using the toggle switch, as my mouse pointer can move, but can't click on anything.     This seems to be the same problem that has affected particularly other Mac and PC users for the past two months, all over the world. Amazon sites especially behave badly in this regard, giving rise to not only the phenomenon of gel, but also the appearance of spinning beachball dreaded Mac. There has been lengthy discussions within these forums about this. Almost all browsers and all platforms are affected by this. Flash doesn't seem to be a factor, and the last three versions of Mac OS x - Mavericks and El Capitan, Yosemite - are also affected.

    The problem seems to be caused by Javascript has changed to some Web sites, which now makes these sites less compatible with browsers. My own investigations have shown that, in the case of Safari, the problem was sensitive to the fontsize.     No, it has nothing to do with updates of Adobe. There is a problem with your video card driver.

    Go directly to the Web site of the manufacturer of the GPU for updates (not Microsoft, not a System Builder).

    Don't know what's happening, you do not give a lot of information, but if you have the constant beachballing (spinning wait cursor), which could mean that the hard drive is dying.

    Open Console.app in Applications > utilities. Filter, called "String Matching," right, high enter "I/o" without the quotes. What happens when you do this?

    Hi stirrer, there are a few things you can do to report the site. The first thing you can do is report it to Firefox/Mozilla. You can do so by accessing the area where you can get in the Firefox settings. You don't want to click on Firefox. Instead you want to do is click on the question mark. It comes to the help section. One of the options on this is "a false report web. This information will go to Mozilla so that we can help others avoid this site. If you want to report to law enforcement and you live in the US you can go to ic3.gov .
