  System Restore will probably not solve the problem at this stage. Unfortunately, you will need to get their hands on your system manufacturer and ask for a replacement disc from them.

  Im trying to install this update:

  KB3080079, KB3083710, KB2952664, KB2999226

  I still have this error: Windows Update error 80071A 91 error code.

  I get the error even if I try to install the updates one by one, do not use Windows Update, but after their download from Microsoft of the site.

  The last update, I installed successfully is (KB3069114)

  2. Antivirus software is configured to scan the folder % Windir%\SoftwareDistribution.
  3. Service (BITS) Background Intelligent Transfer Service does not receive a content link header.
  4. A required system file is incorrectly registered.

  I have recently upgraded to windows 7 Home Edition of Vista. For the last week, I tried to install the updates through the Windows Update program, and everytime I try, it starts to install, but also its about to end it stops and comes with the window "some updates were not installed" don't install all new updates to day and it gives the error code 800706BA which is an "unknown" error I tried to install the updates from the Download Center, and they do not as well.   The 8024200d result code indicates WU_E_UH_NEEDANOTHERDOWNLOAD
  Update Manager did not install the update because it must be downloaded again.
  Suggest you download and Save the complete stand-alone package of Vista SP1.

  Links to the standalone versions are on this page because you validate that the edition of Vista is x 86 (32-bit) or x 64 (64-bit). You can see the architecture of the system of opening in the Panel and next to the search System system type: Windows Vista Service Pack 1 (SP1)

  Before attempting to apply the SP1 please consider this information-
