KDL - 40S 4100 - how the perspective of work

On my KDL - how can 40S 4100, I do the optical audio output when using the HDMI device entries? For some reason I do not output from the audio output RCA Sockets or the optical output. Any ideas?

The optical plug is designed to produce sounds when the content you watch contains the audio digital (PCM or Dolby Digital technology). This feature is available on a selection of digital and video streaming shows and is not compatible with the standard of cable stations or analogue.

  • How the cloning process works in the background?

    VMware dear Experts,

I want to know "How the cloning process works in the background?", according to my understanding is it works like this

    (1) instant a VM cloned

    (2) recording a virtual machine to a destination host

    (3) copy the hard of the files to a destination host

    (4) commit the Flash disk to the destination host (changed blocks r commited)

Peut sum1 brief the cloning process...

    Concerning

    Mr. VMware

Almost correct, step 4 the Flash disk gets committed to the VM source not destination of VM, does start with a hot-clone vCenter no change after the clone operation (i.e. the snapshot has been added to the source of the VM) will be written to the destination virtual machine.

If you use VMware Converter, it has an option to "sync" can you consult so that it does several passes to pick up all the changes of the past during the clone operation.

One more thing to remember it is hot-clones consistent crash so there is the possibility of losing data, although from my experience there has never been a problem.

  • Horrible overscan HDMI on KDL - 40S 2000 with the Playstation 3

I have connected my Sony KDL - 40S 2000 to my Playstation 3 via the HDMI cable and I get horrible overscan. Something like 10% of the image is missing.

I tried 720 p and 1080i input signals, but it does not seem to do anything. Settings of the TV, you can do enything either. If I go into 'Settings'-> 'Screen'-> "Display area", there is just 'Normal' options, "-1" and "-2", where 'Normal' gives you less overscan, but it is still not acceptable (10% as I said). "" " Options '-1' and "-2" just gives you even more overscan.

I could try to connect my ps3 via HDMI-> DVI Cable to DVI-> VGA adapter to TV, but I don't know if it would be the same work and atleast I would lose sound.

Is there a solution to get the exposure image correctly in HD mode, or do I have to buy a new TV high definition?

you could try to support Ps3... I have not try... My son always has its aspect ratio screwed up on his tv... He loves the shows to fill the entire screen and don't mind cropping.

  • Satellite 4100XCDT: how the IRDA port works under DOS

I have a Toshiba Satellite 4100xcdt. How do I assign a COM port to the IRDA (infrared) port in the BACK so I can use programs such as Winsamp
    http://www.veg.Nildram.co.UK/remote.htm

The BIOS assigns COM1 and COM2 serial port to the built-in modem. However there is not a single option for the IRDA port not found.

How can I make the IRDA port works under DOS?

In my opinion it of not possible to use the IrDA DOS, because drivers must be installed and initialized.
The IrDA port driver is a common Windows driver and the irda connection works only when windows was loaded

  • Trying to understand how the Eloqua cookies work and relate to a user

    Greetings,

I'll just start where I think my basic understanding is for the moment and move what I seek to clarify and accomplish.

    High level understanding:

    • The user hits your Web site that contains the "Eloqua traceability Code" in this topic.

    • Cookie is created that is grouped with ".". Eloqua.com.

    • The user goes to a form and submits their contact information OR surfed a bit before hitting a form

    • … At this point, I get a little misty... *.

    • Eloqua treats the presentation (or create a new record or at the e-mail address and adds the information as prescribed in the existing record)

    • (Will not enter treatment programs because they are not relevant to my question)

    • Eloqua is to the top of the confirmation page

    * So here's what I'm foggy on...

    1. How/where the cookie will be created. I followed to this 'image' tag in the elqImg.js file. (http://now.eloqua.com/visitor/v200/svrGP.aspx?pps=3 & siteid ={SITEIDHERE} & ref2 = elqNone & tzo = {TIMEZONECODE} & ms = 933 & elqCookie = 1). This is the only method of creation of the cookie, calling this URL?

    2. This GUID in the ELOQUA cookie, is the one that is now linked to the folder of the user once they succeeded to convert?

    The goal

What I do, it is a construction of a method aside server to validate users return, those who have converted for example via a form and are known to me.

I have an idea what happens to the code, I'm just here to chop the process on the side of Eloqua how it handles data as well as what look for it system to properly attach the USER = this cookie GUID (if that even happens).

If it's worth whatever it is we're always on Eloqua 9 If this has an impact on the method.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thank you kindly

    Hello Adam,.

I'm not quite clear on the use cases that explained you at the end, but I'll explain how the creation of cookie:

When you followed the scripts on your page - in this case, you have the old synchronous tracking scripts, the call to the function img.js below

results in the creation of cookie. Please note that there is no code client which translates into the creation of cookie, but when this line of code above is executed, this triggers a call to our svrGP.aspx page - as you have already noticed, and exist on our server-side. This page performs certain functions among which is to create a GUID and drop a cookie on the browser if it isn't one already. This page is also responsible for the creation of a visitor profile, which is a record in our visitor table in the database that has a GUID primary key - which is what contains the Eloqua cookie.

    Thank you

  • How the download bundle work with Professional Edition folios?

    Hi all

I tried to get information on specific issues without success.

    This is the scenario:

We must develop a newsletter for a company by using membership of the company Apple.  First wave will only be iOS devices.  Second wave will include Android devices.  The newsletter will be around 4 issues per year.

    (1) using the montlhy members, folio downloads are combined?  Newsletter1, Newsletter2 will give us 500 downloads for the first year?  And after that, to have bought 10,000 distribute downloads between all folios, that we published?  The number of downloads available is affected on the profile of the user instead of individual applications?

    (2) no folio downloads expire?

    (3) if we do use iTunes to distribute the newsletter, how do we keep track of downloads? This occurs in the application when it is installed?  And this raises the question if we really need that the costs of downloading if we don't use iTunes?

    (4) If you are using the creative cloud (which only works with iOS devices) is going to give us unlimited downloads, right?  This type of folio works with the Apple company membership?

    (5) if we create the first wave by using the creative Cloud service, and later, we get the professional edition, can 'transfer us' information folio from the CC to the new Service?

    I've already called:

877-792-3623 such as published on the page of the professional edition (they say only can help with Enterpise) and sent to 1800-443-8158 (Volume Licensing) who does not know the answers.

I'm trying this way because it was kind of frustrating trying to find the answers by phone.

Please, any help would be great.

    (1) I don't know what you mean by "accumulation". See http://www.adobe.com/products/digital-publishing-suite-pro/buying-guide-pricing.html for included downloads. If you buy every month, you get 250 downloads per month, and only one month of value will take forward. If you purchase the annual version, you get 5 000 downloads, but then again, those who don't ride to your next year of service. Bundles of Folio apply on all publications in your account, not for an individual application.

    (2) those included in your monthly or annual expires at the end of each month or year. A folio bundle purchase expires one year after the date of purchase.

    (3) for the consumption of bundle download calculation that is done by the application itself, not iTunes. The DPS dashboard at http://digitalpublishing.acrobat.com/ will show you the download counts for your publications.

    (4) creative cloud only gives you access to create simple editing applications. It is a complete, stand-alone, application with your content inside. It doesn't have the ability to download additional content in the application and therefore no download fees and no "unlimited" download It's just a unique and autonomous, application in the app store.

    (5) If you start with a simple editing application and then want to switch to an application of several question you will need to re-apply several issue with App Builder and submit it to iTunes as an update of your existing application. Your existing content used to generate the application may easily be re-published (if necessary) so that it appears in the new application of several question. Your readers will see an application update is available, download it and then to have the experience of several question inside the app. If you recharge for newsletters, it will be problematic granting previous buyers of your application fees for simple editing to the same content in the request of several question.

  • Can someone help me understand how the URL handlers work and how they can be used to launch AppleScripts links?

    Preface:

-I'm not a complete noob, but Applescript is my first programming language

-J' have been able to write scripts that are useful for a variety of tasks, but especially the interaction between the Excel and numbers

-I consider myself to be an advanced/expert with the numbers, but not Excel

My goal is to be able to run scripts from a link in a Numbers spreadsheet without opening a browser.  For me, a key missing numbers is the ability to create interactive buttons.  I know reading is it possible to use links in OSX to trigger scripts via URL, but all managers the explanations and instructions, I found are over my head, because they reference the definitions of programming I don't understand.   I know it's probably a very long answer.  I really appreciate the effort and promise of will not be wasted your time and your knowledge will be used for good (at least by me).

    World  thanks,

    Ash

Google this string: Manager of URLS AppleScript.

The first strike several include the how-to code AppleScript which should guide you on the construction and launch of a URL handler.

  • It's strange how the cooling fan works on Satellite L20

I have a little problem. I bought the Satellite L20-182.
When I turn on the computer about 10 minutes is quiet.
Then the fan starts as a hurricane, slows and stops after a few seconds.
The fan works this way on a regular basis with intervals of one minute.
Toshiba why don't BIOS where the fan runs constantly, but with a lower speed?

    Hello

I don't really know what to tell you, if you look around, on this forum, will find you a lot of people asking the same thing.

As much I know as no firmware or BIOS is available which will help in this case.
    Bad thing.

  • How the update feature works in the form of the child

    Hello
We have configured the OOTB EBS with OIM10g connector. In the child form of EBS responsibility, I could see the button update with add and remove. Is someone can you please tell me what makes the update? coz if I update the responsibilities always the task rejects not to update all the attributes of the child form.

    Thank you

UDATE does not mean that the change of responsibility. OOTB support updtion update other fields. for example, she updated end date and everything. What happens, you add a responsibility for 10 days at the beginning and later, you feel increasing so far in this case end date instead of adding the same responsibility again.

But I don't think that the update button is provided in the application workflow

  • How the user named work permit?

I have a few questions about the named user (I guess Oracle call 'named user Plus' now) license:

Multiple databases on the same host_

Let's say I have a server database running Enterprise Edition.

On this, I had the PROD1 and PROD2, PROD3 databases.

I have 100 users for each database.

So what I do then buy 300 licenses NUP? In other words, the NUP license does not follow the database? Or I need 100?

_ NUP licenses in a CCR environment

Let's say I have two servers, NODE1 and NODE2. There is a shared database via PAP, with one instance on each server. I have 100 users of this database.

So, I need 100 licenses NUP? Or 200 because there are two instances (NODE1 and NODE2)?

    Thank you!

In enterprise edition, named user licenses are independent of databases running on the server. If it is a single server to 100 in your case. If you use CARS on two nodes multiply by 2, which will be 200. Remember that you must have a minimum of 25 more than named user licenses per processor. for example, the machine has 4 processor then 25 X 4 = 100 named user licenses are the minimum. In the case of RAC node1 = 4 processor and node2 = Intel Pentium 4 processor (4 + 4 = 8 * 25 = 200 named user licenses).

  • How the Auto commit works at APEX

    Hello

I have a process PL\SQL consisting of assume that insert / update / delete statements.
    insert into emp ()
    values ()

    update emp
    set

    delete from emp
    where empno =
I just want to know... When the apex do Auto commit... I mean after every DML operation.

    Thank you
    Deepak

    Deepak:

As Ben notes, the validation between the insert and delete statements is not needed to see the result of the front remove the insert statement. In addition, if the insert and delete are required to be part of the same operation, a commit after the insert would violate this requirement. You will not be able to "rollback" changes caused by "insert" If for some reason you need to do after the execution of the delete statement.
