I paid almost $ 4,000 for this TV XBR4 52 KDL three years ago and now the left is blurry, ghosts for about one to two hours. and of course the TV is out of warranty, but $ 4,000 for three years of service? I bought the sony because it was supposed to be a good brand. NEVER WILL BUY SONY PRODUCTS. I'm going to buy a new TV, but guess what? won't be Sony. I called sony, but of course they said SORRY BUT THERE IS nothing WE CAN DO, your tv is no longer under warranty, that's all, no discount to buy an another sony tv, nothing. E48243355: hurt

My husband and I also bought this TV model and have the same problems. This should be a matter of recall that SONY should stand behind. Automakers do... Why no SONY? It is a very expensive TV and people today (my husband is unemployed) can't afford to spend thousands to replace in a few years (we bought in 2008 at Circuit City). I was online with a SONY technician for the problem that basically couldn't solve and then disconnected himself when he made me so many problems with a reset that he could not know how to handle last week! SONY in the past was fine standing behind their products, but no more. With costs of this purchase and the problems we had in the past with the PS3 (although they were good in that repair or replacement), we have serious doubts about the purchase of a replacement with the family SONY TV. I'll look elsewhere which is a shame, because SONY was the only brand that we bought for the last 20 years. I also never recommend to anyone. Too bad SONY didn't answer questions and admit on their Web site or directly to their customers... This is the first step to win back the loyalty of the clients. Never heard at the time where I complained about the incompetence of the technicians, so why they asked me to answer?

    32 "Bravia (model KDL - 32L 4000) shows a flaw of the horizontal line across the screen, about 1/3 down from the top of the LCD screen. After 15 minutes of on time the image below the line becomes nervous and not. Research on the defence of the interests of the consumer and technical forums suggests this is not an uncommon problem with this particular model, and the LCD screen is faulty and must be replaced. However, it seems to be part of 700 US dollars, which is twice the price of a new 32 '' LCD TV. We have owned two Sony tube TVs, the older one lasted more than 13 years, but the latest model of tube went after only three years (flyback meltdown). So, we are disappointed that this barfed LCD TV only after 30 months. It seems that Sony TV products become less reliable, until the brand doesn't mean anything any more. Sony has all the options for this TV? It would certainly go a long way toward restoring based on brand and convince us to buy Sony TV products in the future.

    I am VERY disappointed to see that the (the appearance of horizontal strips) problem with my TV is very common and apparently is more difficult than for the purchase of a new TV. Really, Sony? Most of our electronic devices are Sony and we were big believers until the death of our three year old TV. THREE YEARS? Terrible!

    I'll call customer tomorrow. It is simply unacceptable for an old TV three year throw the bucket...

  • These recent Hulu app crashing on the KDL-50W800C?

    BRAVIA Android TV KDL-50W800C - all - Hulu, Netflix, Amazon, Youtube - everything worked but now Hulu keeps crashing.

    Everything is updated later and I went through all the usual troubleshooting - checked connections, speed, do installs, reinstalls, cache clearing, even the reset factory.

    Yet, Hulu has been crashing on most, but not all of these last two weeks shows at the beginning episodes - after the title page and the first ad. Other shows in the series seem to work perfectly. I can watch the seasons without end of Intervention, but it blocks all try to watch Rick & Morty.

    I saw a few other people out there with the same problem. So, anyone know if it's an Android software problem or a problem of software from Hulu, and if I can wait until this gets fixed?

    I've read the horror stories of clients on the Sony forum on the 'lines' on their flat screens of different model and the lack of support for Sony. For lack of a better place to post, I hope that a customer with technical knowledge can help because I know that Sony will just direct me to a local technician I have to pay $150 for them to tell me to replace it, or a part of $1500.

    Also the TV is, there must be an unwanted heat. I know that the PS3 systems faced the same problems and "re-invest" the Board of Directors fixed my PS3 system several times over the past 8 years of intensive use. I bet regardless of the Control Board is the cause could be reorganized with a hot air gun.

    Does anyone know what advice it would be? Yes, I could redistributed the cards, but I really don't want to do the same surgery on television. I already opened the once TV and checked all the wires and connections. It worked for about 3 days after that and then returned to the same thing. Must be a connection/heat problem on a Board where the solder is detached.

    I love my KDL-32EX720. I got it for 8 months with no problems. I've seen tons of movies on my Netflix and Hulu Plus accounts, listening to a radio more loose with this account and even surfing on the ' Net with her.

    A week ago I started to receive an error message when you try to connect to one of my accounts with my TV. I can still access my accounts on my PC, but get an error message that "service is not available at the moment; reference code 11 "after he tells me that my access code has expired.     Also I am getting an error "" Configuration failed connection Try 5010 later"when you access"Refresh Internet Content"in the network configuration menu.

  • Sony Bravia KDL-32R300C

    My Sony Bravia KDL-32R300C worked very well and all of a sudden when I used the headset and pull them out there is no hollow sound speakers. When I increase the volume, I see the icon of headset eventough no headphones are attached. I have check the setting of the sound and is set on the speakers. I have reset the audio system, nothing done. Is there anything else I can try it or the entrance helmet damaged? Thank you for any input on this issue.

    I called Sony Support and they gave me a solution to this problem. You must use the original supplied with the TV remote control.

    1. press the HOME button

    2. Select PREFERENCES

    3. Select SETTINGS

    4. Select SET UP

    5. Select SET UP AV

    6. Select speakers

    7. Select SYSTEM AUDIO (will turn you back to speakers of the TV to step 11)

    8. Select HEADPHONES speaker CONNECTION

    9. Select DISABLED

    10. Select again PREGNANT

    11. Select TV speakers

    Your sound should be back. The downside: when you connect your headphones you will have sound in the speakers and headphones! For sound only on the helmet, you will need to turn headset speaker Link ON.

    It worked for me. I hope it helps someone else.

    When I try to run on my KDL-46HX729 3D experience, I get a pop-up window saying 'your Sony BRAVIA TV is in need of a software in order to receive more new and exciting content update. [Update now] [Latest update] ». If I take now updated, need me to "do you want to start the download of the software [Yes] [no]. I choose Yes. It then responds with "No newer version of the tv software were found." I currently have firmware PKG3.309AAA. I tried to use a different, also used router well wired and wireless and tried to make a TV factory reset. Still no go. What else is there to check? I checked the 3D content works via the YouTube application, my cable provider and a usb drive. All the other features of network works. (IE DLNA, Internet browser, etc.)

    Any help would be appreciated.

  • Could not find a way to connect my Sony headphones to my TV Bravia KDL-32BX310

    My TV Bravia KDL-32BX310 has "Audio In" (red and white) female connectors, but there does appear to be an 'Audio OUT', so I can't find a way to connect my new Sony headphones. (It doesn't seem to have a 'digital output'-looking on the site of the port. Help please!

    What is the model number of Sony headphones? Most Sony headphones can be plugged into the Audio OUTPUT of a TV port. However, your TV Sony is not any Audio port OUT but has an optical Digital Audio OUT port. Only a few select Sony headphones have the possibility to connect to optical Digital OUT port of the TV.

    If your headphones do not have the possibility to connect to the Audio Digital OUT from the TV, then, Alternatively, you can connect the Sony headphones to the Audio OUTPUT of the source device port. For example, if you look at the cable program and the decoder has the Audio OUTPUT port, you can connect the headset to the cable box to listen to the sound.

    Unfortunately, the XBR9 doesn't have the Sony entertainment network. SEN content is available on 2010 units and more. Sony SMPN100, SMPN200, NSZGT1 and NSZGS7 will have the content of SEN. You can connect these devices to the XBR9 TV with HDMI and you will be able to access the content of SEN.
