  I develop a conversion program for the tax exemption. For this program the table ZX_EXEMPTIONS is used to fill the data and we got confirmation from Oracle also in this regard. To insert the data in this table take us the max of tax_exemption_id who is pk for this table and by adding one to it and insert in the table. But the problem here is after the insertion of the back-end that we are not able to insert front end.

  It seems that data backend is the tax_exemption_id which is supposed to reserve front data. Please explain the different behavior of filling of tax_exemption_id of front-end and back-end.

  I think the problem is that you do not value max + 1 tax_exemption_id. But as ZX_EXEMPTIONS uses the ZX_EXEMPTIONS_S sequence
  for primary key generation, you encounter the situation as you increase PK Id for this table without increasing the value of the sequence.
  When you try to insert rows from front end - which probably uses the value of the sequence - it tries to use a sequence already used by your backend value
  treat (which he generated by Maxvalue + 1) and then would face a primary key violation.

  I think you need to use the sequence mentioned above for generating your KP login to the backend process. And before that, check the current value
  to ZX_EXEMPTIONS_S, you may need to rebuild the sequence to select nextval successfully for the frontend and backend.

  I use JDev 12 c on Windows 7 Pro

  I do a CreateInsert in ADF button on af:table. The model is set up so that T1 is one to many with t2, t2 is one to many with t3.

  I have recordings in t1 and t2, and trying to insert a record into t3.

  After I click the button, two of the three PK columns have values of t2. The third column is served by LOV. I open the LOV and select a value, and I get this exception:

  I've seen other posts related to this exception but no solid answers. I tried a few suggestions but nothing worked.

  If I remove the 3rd key I can insert a line, but on the second row, I get an error indicating that the primary key violation. It's like the page checks the constraints of the entity before the validation.

  And by LOV you mean: af:inputListOfValues?

  It usually works within the af: table if you VO with composite key.

  Maybe you can set ChangeEventPolicy = none on your iterator, but it will probably not help.

  I'm under 4.0. I am writing an app that manages the inventory of distributed database information. All my tables have primary keys digital substitute. I created several combinations/report form. According the report, I can choose to create a new instance of an object; Server for example. When I click on the ' Add Server > ' button, the details of the page opens for me to create the new entry. On this page, I need to have the autogenerated Server_ID. I think something as simple as "Select (max (server_id) + 1) server ' should do. In fact, it seems that it will work because the field is correctly completed. But, when I click on the button 'Create' on this page I get an error that says the Server_ID sucks. Looks like that the generated value is not what makes the INSERT statement.
  
  On the setting Page, I together Server_ID in view only mode and in the Source section selected attribute that I "only when there is zero current in the session state value" and "SQL Query (single return value)" selected with ' Select (max (server_id) + 1) Server "in the field"Source value or expression.

  DO NOT USE the ' Select (max (server_id) + 1) server to assign a new value of PK...» He has so many questions, I don't want to start with this... If you need to get the PK BEFORE all of the data on the form, then have a calaculation on e electronic form that is done before header where you select the NEXT value in the sequence.

  I am trying to add a button to all my quiz slides. The button is called Skip at the end, its intention is to allow the quiz takers go back and answer the questions that they skiped and when finished, they can click the Skip to end button, is to say, im done the test, what is my score.

  Thank you for the welcome.

  In fact, I realized another way to do this. My intention is to allow the test taker easily navigate through the test without having to press skip or back button 100 times. We have added a progress bar to the bottom of the test slides you can scroll through the questions you ignored the fastest. This seems to have solved our problem to test a little more friendly user.

• MySQL Insert with autoincremented primary key

  I did not before MySQL.  I try and hit a roadblock soon enough.

  I would like to insert new records and have the auto-generated primary key / auto-increment.

  So, I have attached a few screenshots.  The first is a screenshot of the MySQL settings for the table that I'm writing.  The second is the Labview code that I threw as well as I am trying to run.

  The complete of the error I get is:

  Setting to 0 did not work, but I understand it.  For some reason any when I was refreshing my tables in MySQL server and using the "Forward Engineer" feature, the changes were not multiplication.  I had to drop the schema of the database (attached image) and then do an "engineer forward."  I made the changes, but the tables and the columns still had the attributes of origin... guess they cannot be updated by the script during execution.

  After doing this and the original settings I had (autoincremented primary key), the insert works in MySQL and Labview.

  You need launch the editor to insert the activation key. When you start the editor, he asks that you want to insert the key or continue the trial version. You can insert the activation key. You can launch editor through the home screen or from the Organizer himself. The Editor Help menu also has the activation option.

• ProBook 4720 s does not detect the SD card inserted

  I get no response when a SD card snaps, but 8 GB Transcend card is recognized very well of my little netbook from Toshiba.

  This is the first time I tried a card in this HP, although I got it a few months. Running Win 7 Pro 32-bit.  BIOS HP 68AZZ worm F.0F 18/02/2011.

  Well, I contacted HP support and got a helpful response within a day. Siva gave me urls for two drivers that I apparently needed (not very new drivers and I don't know why they were not there in this new machine, but any way..) and they installed, unlike the one I found just for me and giving a message "forbidden". However, once installed, both raised the box "this program cannot be installed correctly" (that I've seen before and never known what to do about it except devoted to work and hope for the best).

  With the drivers installed, the system * fact * detect the SD card so that it has shown in Device Manager and gave sound signals when it has been installed and removed. But he does not have assigned a drive letter and did not show in Windows Explorer, while it was still incommunicado or to serve as a ReadyBoost file storage.

  Thinking that it seemed that HP problems were over and it is now a Windows problem, I spent a few hours to make the seemingly useless things in Windows, all having to do with recovery of AutoRun, which is not.

But then I went back to where I had left access control panel in Explorer, and I saw that the SD card has sometime been recognized and awarded drive E. Shazam!

  Therefore, all followed the script and I could bring up the window of the tab (in the properties of the drive E) option for ReadyBoost and say, go ahead. He did, and it seems to work very well. It closes fast when I close the lid, with several major programs running, as well as 4 windows in FF with about 12-24 tablets of each, and it took only 60 seconds to wake up this morning.

  So the problem is solved with something good help at HP, but not gracefully or usefully for others, I'm afraid, because I can't say yet exactly what I did.

  1. Closed all programs and disconnected from the Internet;
  2. Wanted for HP Recovery Manager on the splash screen;
  3. Clicked on "Create recovery media" when the box of HP Recovery Manager came;
  4. Checked 'I agree' and click 'continue' on the next screen;
  5. Insert a USB Flash drive into one of the USB ports.
  6. A window pops up showing immediately that the USB Flash drive came with a SanDisk SecureAccess software;
  7. Closed the window without activating it / install the software.
  8. A noted USB Flash control box lights and a circle trotted under the three boxes supports
  9. Disconnected the USB Flash key;
  10. Insert the USB Flash drive to the two other USB ports and repeat all the steps and got the same results.

  Here are the details of my laptop and a USB Flash drive:

  Laptop HP Pavilion g

  Windows 8 (64-bit)

  SanDisk Ultra USB Flash Drive

  32 GB

  Software compatibility: Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Mac OS X v10.5 +.

  I checked with success a recovery image on a SanDisk 32 GB USB Flash Drive for my other front HP laptop with no problems at all.  Given that the USB Flash drive is not longer than 32 GB and is not Compatible Windows 8, I don't know why it did not work this time.

  The only thing is I don't remember if my other SanDisk Flash Drive USB provided with the SanDisk SecureAcess software.   This is why the process has failed?  If so, USB Flash Drive which brand is a good option?

  Hello anita1wu. I understand that you have recovery problems with your USB SanDisk player. I will answer all of your questions for you both:

  1 SanDisk has always be my brand name 'To Go' because it lacks never me, that is until now.  Could you recommend me a reliable brand?

  -Technically, I would suggest to buy HP USB sticks. However, in the end regardless. A 32 GB HP USB is essentially identical to a 32 GB USB Lexmark.

  2. am I correct that regardless of the brand name, I have to avoid getting a USB Flash drive that comes with a secure, or any software or features additional 'bonus '?

  -C' is correct. With a view to the recovery process, you don't want anything on the drive that could take place. In addition, a recovery drive must contain only the relevant recovery software. Something else may have conflicts later.

• I touched something and now the page up key goes back to the previous page, instead of a screen. How can I fix it?

I hit a combination of keys by mistake and now the page up key load previous page while the next page button loads a page, I'll be back, mimicking the previous buttons and following.
