  I use InDesign Version 20141 on a Macbook Pro.  Operating system is OS X 10.10

  I like to use the Page Break option, located in the Type Menu.  When I enter the keyboard shortcut on my Macbook Pro laptop, it does not.  So I went to change the shortcut, but asked if I want to create a new set of shortcuts.  That sounds complicated to me and I wonder why the default shortcut does not work.   Is there something special about the use of a computer laptop mac that prevents the shortcut to work?

  On a MacBook Pro laptop (that I use as well), there is no dedicated enter key because there is no numeric keypad.

  Page Break (Type > Insert Break character) is command + Enter.

  You can do this on your keyboard by adding the SHIFT key. It would be the command + shift + enter.

  It is not difficult to set up your own set of shortcuts. Just give it a name, like "Patrick shortcuts" and choose it instead of the game by default, which cannot be changed.

  For Peter Spier and Jongware, thank you very much for your help on this stubborn text block.  I never understand exactly what I was doing wrong, so I ended up remove and re-create and were more likely what to do.

  Anyway, my next newbie question is: what is the keyboard shortcut for a page break?  I see on the menu drop-down which is command - something (I'm on a Mac), but I do not recognize the icon in the menu of the second key.  Who's who?

  Some websites said it was Command-enter, but that has not worked.

  I'm guessing that you are on a Mac laptop where there is no dedicated enter key.

  It is in this case, control + Fn + return.

  FN + return gives you the Enter key (shown above to the back of the keyboard key).

  When you look at the keyboard shortcuts for MAC, the 100% zoom is broken as alt '0' of the command, and yet it is displayed in the drop-down list as 'n'?

  

  Is it possible to change the shortcuts. The 100% zoom was simply command (apple) page '0', which is now fit to.

  The shortcut by default to zoom to 100% should be command + 1.

  You can change the keyboard shortcuts in the Edit (Command + Option + SHIFT + K)

  Specifically for this and because it can be changed via the options, you can create a toolbar button to do this.

  Manufacturer of custom toolbar buttons , select "Enable/disable Page colors", install, move the button custom toolbar. Active / disable preferences, removes some but not all images (loses the banner entire mozillaZine exactly the same as the preference). Another button that can be included is 'Font of Page', which activates / turns off page fonts between your colors and colors on the web page. Another button which may be necessary to read some pages is "Toggle Styles" to disable CSS styles or save on.

  the free Sharpkeys

  whether you never (maybe Caps Lock) to m.

  Seems unlikely after all these years.  But you can add your detailed opinion and vote on it in the Adobe official feedback forum: Lightroom: allow customization of keyboard shortcuts | Community customer Photoshop family

  But note that a fair amount of customization of the keyboard is possible with a modest effort:

  1. you can change TranslatedStrings.txt.

  2. on Mac, you can you shortcuts keyboard standard application in system preferences.

  3. on Windows, you can use the free and widely used AutoHotKey.

  I work in Premiere Pro CS6 on Mac OS 10.10.5. I am constantly switch between views video Composite and Audio Waveform in the Source monitor Panel. To do this, I have to use the mouse to click on the key icon, and then select one of the points just at the top of the context menu. My workflow would be so much faster if there was a keyboard shortcut.

  You can create your own... If you scroll the list link you to that, there is the Source section of monitor... which has options short keyboard available for your two wishes:

  You shouldn't have to they are the default ones. You can change these keyboard shortcuts Application Menus layers organize section. Down is backwards and upwards towards the front

  I always used the mouse and the slider to adjust things in the develop module. I know not started using the keyboard shortcuts for quick editing as sugested by everyone and I like it.  My problem is when I adjust all slider with the + or - keys my picture completely off momentarily then comes back with the adjustment.  It's frustrating and completely defeated the purpose of the use of keyboard shortcuts for speed.

  The only changes that I made is that I have improved from a computer of dimensions very old dell to a new computer alienware X 51.  I use 4.4 lightroom 64-bit and a HDMI connection on my monitor.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  I think that there are a few other keys attached shortcut to '+' and '-' keys on your keyboard.

  Try to put the clean boot your system and try to launch Lightroom and see if the problem persists.

  If you do not get the question any more go ahead and isolate the application which is originally by following fracture and method of the rule on the apps.
