Keyboard shortcut for Zoom (CS5)

Anyone older than me who cursed the person who decided that the Zoom should no longer be Ctrl +, but rather Ctrl Alt 9? WHY? Zoom out is always Ctrl-

I tried to change in Edit - keyboard shortcuts, but nothing happens. I saved the file and gave it a name, but nothing happens when I click Ctrl +.

Please help me before go me crazy.

  • Keyboard shortcuts to stop CS5.5

This discussion is really not just limited to Photoshop, as happens in Illustrator, but about 5 times a day at work my keyboard shortcuts for zoom tool, hand tool, and others just STOP working.  I found that delete my cache and preferences and restart tends to work, but it's been 5 times a day is getting ridiculous.  I initially thought it had to do with the spotlight, but even after disabling this shortcut, it happens again.

    Any help would be appreciated!

  • Keyboard shortcuts for the opacity of the object?

It seems that there are a variety of options in the keyboard shortcuts Panel in CS5 ID, but I can't seem to figure out how to set keyboard shortcuts for the levels of opacity objects as Illy and PS I (1 = 10%, 2 = $20, etc.). This would be really helpful for me. Anyone know if this is possible in ID?

You can set the Panel Menus > Effects: transparency and then hit the combination of keys will be displays a dialog box and you can type the number and press return. This isn't what you asked, but it is not too far.

You can also do it with a script of a line:

    App.Selection [0].transparencySettings.blendingSettings.Opacity = 50;

Save it as trans50.jsx in your scripts folder and link it to a key under script (in keyboard shortcuts). Do as much as you, as for whatever numbers you like.

  • How can I map a keyboard shortcut for the reacord button in the Audio Mixer Panel?

I was recording voiceovers in first Pro CS5 for awhile, but I would like to improve my workflow. Whenever I record take, I first press the record button (labeled B below) with the mouse and press SPACEBAR on the game with the shortcut key button. After I record audio, I hit Stop and this activates / deactivates the record off the power button at the same time. I have to then click the record button with the mouse to start the process again.

Is it possible to map a keyboard shortcut for the record button in the audio panel so that I don't have to touch the mouse during recording of voice?

There is not currently a shortcut for this. This is a good feature request, if. You can submit requests for features here.

As far as I know that there is no shortcut pre-defined for this task. You can always check for the shortcut available in this list: hotkeys - quickly perform common tasks of Firefox

However, you can set your own shortcut using this addons: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/customizable-shortcuts/

  • keyboard shortcut for a retail setting "preferences".

A few sites I use often are difficult to read in their own colors, then I go to 'Edit-> Preferences-> content-> colors' and uncheck "Allow pages to choose their own colors, instead of my selections above".
Other sites need this setting checked in order to work correctly.
I can create a keyboard shortcut for this setting?

FF 4.0.1 on Windows XP and Linux

Specifically for this and because it can be changed via the options, you can create a toolbar button to do this.

Manufacturer of custom toolbar buttons , select "Enable/disable Page colors", install, move the button custom toolbar. Active / disable preferences, removes some but not all images (loses the banner entire mozillaZine exactly the same as the preference). Another button that can be included is 'Font of Page', which activates / turns off page fonts between your colors and colors on the web page. Another button which may be necessary to read some pages is "Toggle Styles" to disable CSS styles or save on.

Sometimes (especially with a touchpad) move the cursor of the mouse on the tab, right click and choose 'Pin as App tab' is a lot of work compared to using a keyboard shortcut. Y at - it a keyboard shortcut to do this?

  • Y at - it a keyboard shortcut for switching windows?

I see that there is a keyboard shortcut for switching tabs in a window of Firefox, but I would also like one to switch between the windows of the browser. I guess it's easier on Windows, where each browser window kind of behaves as an application separate, but on the Mac OS, an application can have multiple windows. Thus, the operating system does not provide supported to switch between browser windows via a keyboard shortcut; It allows to switch between applications, which brings all of the windows in the application target forward.

To switch between using Firefox windows: Cmd (Shift) + ~ (Tilde)

    Hi Finkler,

If you use a debugging feature! And no, there seems to be no assigned shortcut key.

When you need a VI with the possibility of "break" you should learn about state machines. They are a common system to integrate these 'States' as a 'Performance' or 'pause' in a VI (or the program in general)...

  • Keyboard shortcut for Calculator

Hello everyone, could someone please tell me how to create a keyboard shortcut for the calculator?

    Rgds

    Roona

Here is an MS article that may help you:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310417

A test, I added a shortcut (Ctrl + Alt + G) to my computer and it works fine.

It also forces me to reach upward, my touchpad and perform sequences of keys or use both hands, and I'm lazy.

A 'shortened' shorter that I would use would be to simply add the calculator to Quick Launch area (to the immediate right of the Start button), and then I could enter calculator with just a simple mouse click.

What you see in the quick launch area is really just a file specific to each user, you can access the folder and add more shortcuts and remove shortcuts easily.  I deleted those that XP put there for me since I use them, but I can always add back them.

You must activate the QL area, if it isn't already.

For user Jose, my Quick Launch folder is here:

    C:\Documents and Settings\Jose\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch

In my region of QL, I put things that I use all the time... Firefox, Chrome, Outlook, office, Services, event viewer...  I might add calculator if I wanted to.  You can drag and drop things directly on the QL area, but be careful not to slide completely off you menu accessories - it is best to copy and paste.  If you accidentally drag it off your Accessories menu, just bring him back and drop it back where it belongs.

Then, all these things that I use all the time are a simple mouse click whenever I want that they (don't double-click them).
