Language issue in Outlook Express
I just started using my new laptop. Outlook Express has been pre-installed. The language is correct in the Panel, but is set to french in Outlook. It is not an option to change it in options > spelling. Anyone know how I can change the setting to English?

Change the spell check language used in Outlook Express
When I use the spellchecker in Outlook Express, the dictionary uses only French. I followed the instructions to change the language it uses, but the French is the selection available only. How can I get English (Canada) as a selection available? I am running Outlook Express 6 with Windows XP.

Issue check Outlook Express comes out
The only language option in the settings of spellchecker in Outlook Express is French. For this reason, I'll have to add several words to the datbase. How can I make the English as the default?
This happens usually when you upgrade level Office 2007 or 2010, as these versions of Office do not provide the version of spell check for Outlook Express, which is part of Windows XP. If this is your problem, you need to install a third-party dictionary. A web search should produce a number of options.

language options in outlook express 6
I have Outlook Express 6. I don't have a language option to check spelling, etc: French. I want English, Australian preference. Director of the MS Tech phone was told to go to support.microsoft.com/kb/826519. He looked confused for this little girl, & it seemed that I would have to pay for a correction. But surely my Outlook should already give me more language options without having to pay more. I would also check the grammar. I bought it from a reputable dealer. Please can someone please help? Thank you, Eunice H.

Outlook express spell language changes
I can't change a language spelling in Outlook Express6. It shows a French language only and cannot be changed. There is no other option in the window menu. All this happened when I had to format the C drive and reinstalled Windows XP. I tried to change different settings, without success.
No idea why?
Thanks Jiri
