Large movie file?

When I add a 440 MB MP4 to iDVD, the draft blowing up 2.93 GB.  How can I reduce this size so I can get a handful of these movies on dvd?

Contrary to popular belief, size is not serious with iDVD.  The important property of an iDVD project is the total playing time.  For a single disc DVD face is 120 minutes.  When you add additional movies to the project just check the total playing time is less than 120 minutes including time reading menus or the menus annimated with audio tracks added.

Of course, to define the formatting of the iDVD project for the parameter encoding most appropriate to your project: iDVD ' 09 (7.x): about iDVD encoding settings.

Of course follow this workflow to help ensure the best DVD video qualty:

Once the project you want it save it as an image disk via the menu file → save as Disk Image . It will separate from the process of encoding of the burning process.

To check coding mount the disk image, launch a DVD player and read it.  If it plays OK with DVD, encoding is good.

Burn burn to disc with utility disk or toasts to the slowest speed (2 x - 4 x) in order to ensure the best quality.  Always use higher quality media: Verbatim, Maxell or Taiyo Yuden DVD-R are recommended in these forums.

If you burn to a DVD disc in first items 10 and later versions, some choices are

    a. DVD-VIDEO standard screen or 4:3 16:9 on DVD disc

Both will have the frame size of 720 x 480 pixels. But the big screen comes with a 16:9 flag that extends approximately 856/480 16:9 display video after encoding. The screening is not adjustable by the user... and you end up with the DVD-VIDEO format @ 29.97 images per second interlaced.

    b. format of the AVCHD on DVD

Here is the video display 1920 x 1080. And, depending on the version, can be 29.97 images interlaced per second, or 23.976 progressive frames per second (if not just 29.97 images per second interlaced). Although you can generate some AVCHD DVD with a regular DVD burner, DVD AVCHD is in need of a blu - ray player that supports supported AVCHD DVD or one of these drives multimedia multi which is also.

    c. If the player allows... you can export your Timeline file saved on a USB Flash drive and then insert this USB Flash drive in the drive to get the reading of the file. On this route, you can set the Premiere Elements avancΘs to customize your choice of export preset.

  • Fusion iPhone close and wide MacBook movie files

How to merge small movie files that were recorded with an IPhone with larger files that were recorded using the portable camera? When I merge the parties left and right files wieder in QuickTimePlayer are cut.

Conversely, when I expand the IPhone more they become blurred and distorted.

    Thank you!

My preference in this situation is to edit the large clip to the timeline to set the properties of the project for 16:9 automatically.

Then layer a solid under the clamps portrait - generator by choosing a suitable color for the generator.

Other duplicate clips of portrait, intensify the lower clamp and apply a blur.

Hi - I wonder if anyone can tell me why the Toshiba 1 TB 3.5 "external hard drive I recently bought does not allow me to backup large video files from my PC.
The files are located in the region of 5 to 10 GB and when I try to save these I get the message that they are too big for the destination.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

You may not, without uninstalling them and custom install to d. (programs that is)

You can use a third-party tool of the party, for example Acronis Disk Director to merge partitions, if D contains only data, other wise D to shrink and expand C (all with the tool)

  • Problem with Windows Movie Maker 2.6 Re: Save movie file

I get the classic "Windows Movie Maker cannot save the movie to the specified location. Verify that the original source files used in your movie are still available, the location of the backup is still available... "Message ETC, but I have a few additional details that I hope will help someone diagnose what might be wrong:

    * In fact, when I import video files (imports are in WMV format - I have converted to WMV using iOrgSoft Video Converter), he split the file into several clips of different lengths to seemingly without rhyme or reason (done on my old computer with a different version of WMM too).

Going to the statements in the following format:

    FileName_001 FileName_002 FileName_003 FileName_004... etc.

Then, I divided the clips if necessary to isolate the parts I want to drag them to the timeline.

Anyway, through experimentation I found that for each file, I can use all the clips, it was automatically divided in to the last, where I can only use a certain small part of it (the last of them is usually the largest by far) and have it save in a movie file.

So FileName_001, FileName_002, and FileName_003 will all work and save to a movie file in their entirety, and I can use a smaller portion of the FileName_004 and have it record as well. But if I spent a certain point in this last clip (FileName_004), it will not save.

So let's just say that the 8 seconds of FileName_004 can be saved in a movie file. If I try just to save 2 seconds of a value of the element after only the second 8 FileName_004 brand, it will trigger the "Windows Movie Maker cannot save the movie to the specified location. I too Movie Maker 2.6 running in Windows 7 (64-bit), and sometimes she would not publish the movie. So today after reading things here, I did some research and found this page:

I removed the Movie Maker 2.6 from my PC and then downloaded and installed Movie Maker 6.0. I opened the last project of 2.6 MM that would not publish the movie in my new 6.0 and clicked on _Publish to this computer_. And it worked. So I tried a larger project which had also failed to publish the movie and it worked again, producing a 40 MB .wmv file.
So it seems under MovIe Maker 6.0, designed for Vista, works fine under Windows 7, at least if you download the file shown to Movie Maker Blog of Blaine (Blaine Hat!).
BTW, .wmv files, I brought in Movie Maker have been converted to .flv files using a free Quick Media Converter HD download, that I found at cnet.com. I highly recommend it (and its creator, I sent money PayPal).

Im a moment difficult to deliver my video file to a client. They have a system that only plays .mov files in 3840x720px.

I tried all day, but none of the adobe could help me.

Seems the adobe media encoder locks the file to 2000 x 720 px, when you select quicktime? I don't understand.

Also tried converting via quicktime player, but it can export only in 1920 x 1080...

What codec they need to use their system?

If you are not sure, try to make a QuickTime with the Photo-JPEG codec (attention: the size of the file will be significantly larger than a H.264)

  • Why Adobe first Pro is changing the original images/assets (for example, mov) files? (CS6)

    Background:

    1. A colleague gave me a large .mov 33 GB for use in a project, I put this file on a backup disk.
    2. I did a copy identical .mov 33 GB file and placed in a folder that I use for work on a project in Premiere Pro.
    3. I ran Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 and dragged through the 33 GB .mov file in the sequence (imported)
    4. Premiere Pro CS6 in line started in the file.
    5. After what he had done, I noticed that its modification Date was just now, that is to say different to the modified Date on the copy of the original file during the backup drive (see step 1)
    6. I ran a check for BeyondCompare between the file .mov on the backup of the drive (see step 1), which the project Premiere Pro used (step 2, 3) and Beyond Compare reported that they were different.

I thought at first it was corruption in independent files, but I checked several times and got the same result, then it is certainly Premiere Pro deliberately editing the file.

So I am confused: these are supposed to be the same file.

Why is there need of Adobe Premiere Pro to edit the images?

    What does the file?

Wouldn't be better to create a separate file if necessary?

I can accept that if this is how it works and it is good to know that it was the first Pro deliberately edit the files and not of corruption (so my equipment had to be healthy). But it makes more sense to me if Premiere Pro is separate copies modified for its own use. Editing the file that it annoys my process to ensure the integrity of backups; If the original active film files were the same that the copies, then it would be easy to know that backups are OK.

    Thoughts?

Definitive answer (I think): it's this definition, "Write XMP IDS to files on import" - that confirms that Adobe Premiere Pro is deliberately editing the .mov file: 935347 B http://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/using/preferences.html#WSE3BD4A43-7022-4fe6-97F5-95313

These positions provide general information as to why have enabled would be beneficial: the advantage is to be able to skip compliant files by matching to the original file using the embedded XMP tag: -.

  • Import large XML file to Table

I have a large (819 MB) XML file I'm trying to import into a table format:

    < / ROW >
    ...
    < ROW >

    < / ROW_SET >

I tried to import with xmlsequence (...). Extract (...) and ran into the number of nodes exceeds maximum error.

I tried to import with XMLTable (... from XMLTYPE (bfilename('DIR_OBJ','large_819mb_file.xml'), nls_charset_id('UTF8'))) and I gave up after he had run for 15 + hours (COLLECTION ITERATOR PICKLER FETCH number).

I tried to import them with:

    insCtx: = DBMS_XMLStore.newContext ('schemaname.tablename');
    DBMS_XMLStore.clearUpdateColumnList (insCtx);
    DBMS_XMLStore.setUpdateColumn (insCtx, 'column1name');

    LINES: = DBMS_XMLStore.insertXML (insCtx, XMLTYPE (bfilename('DIR_OBJ','large_819mb_file.xml'), nls_charset_id ('UTF8')));

and ran in ORA-04030: lack of memory of process when trying to allocate 1032 bytes (subheap qmxlu, qmemNextBuf:alloc).

All I have to do is read the XML file and move the data into a table in a reasonable time. Once I have given in the database, no longer need the XML file.

What would be the best way to import large XML files?

    Oracle Database 11 g Release 11.2.0.1.0 - 64 bit Production
    PL/SQL Release 11.2.0.1.0 - Production
    "CORE 11.2.0.1.0 Production."
AMT for Linux: Version 11.2.0.1.0 - Production
    NLSRTL Version 11.2.0.1.0 - Production

(Gross) approach should work for you.

    CREATE TABLE HOLDS_XML
            (xml_col XMLTYPE)
          XMLTYPE xml_col STORE AS SECUREFILE BINARY XML;

    INSERT INTO HOLDS_XML
    VALUES (xmltype(bfilename('DIR_OBJ','large_819mb_file.xml'), nls_charset_id('UTF8')))
-- Should be using AL32UTF8 for DB character set with XML

    SELECT ...
      FROM HOLD_XML HX
           XMLTable(...
              PASSING HX.xml_col ...)

How it differs from your approach.

With the help of the HOLDS_XML table with storage XML BINARY SECUREFILE (which become the default in 11.2.0.2), we provide a place for Oracle store a parsed version of the XML data. This allows the XML code to be stored on the disk instead of memory. Oracle can then access the necessary XML fragments of the disc in the instead holding the entire XML in memory and the analysis several times to find the necessary information. That's what COLLECTION ITERATOR PICKLER FETCH means. A lot of memory. You can search on this term to learn more about this if necessary.

The approach XMTable then simply reads this XML to disk file and should be able to parse the XML without problem. You have the option to add XML indexes, but since you read just a while and throw it away, there is no advantage to (most likely) index

  • Color correction MOV file

Hello, I have a problem with the import of the FCP generated XML file in Adobe Premiere Pro, so I can later transfer to Adobe After Effects for color correction.  So, I think a high quality MOV file I can export from Final Cut to the correct color.  Does this make any sense?  I like to keep the highest possible quality for the presentation of my film in DVD, film festivals, etc.

Such a method would be detrimental to the quality of the image?  What would be the best way to color correct a file?

Also, as an aside, Color Finesse comes integrated into After Effects or it should be bought separately.  For a person, who is an amateur in the color correction does a big difference whether a correct color in After Effects or Color Finesse?

    Thank you very much

If you export a movie encoded without loss of Final Cut Pro, you won't lose any quality by moving your movie back as a QuickTime movie. People often use the Animation codec or the PNG codec in a QuickTime container for coding without loss of films for such transfers. The files are large, however, so don't expect to use these files for playback in real time or distribution.

Yes, Color Finesse is included with the full version of After Effects (not with the free trial version, if). See "color correction and adjustment".

    Hi magellan99_98,

I understand that you have any questions about the files that you see when you import your photos. I know it's important to have an understanding of your files, so I am pleased to provide you with some information to help you clarify.

Read this article which gives a short explanation of Photos Live on a computer:

OS X El Capitan: Live Photo

With some iPhone models, you can shoot the Live pictures, include a still image and a short video clip just before and after the image. When you play a Live Photo, you see the picture and the video that has been captured with him. Not all applications can play Live Photos; in some cases, you will see just a still image.

Because these photos include a short video clip before and after the image, you can see a .mov file, associated with some images.

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support, cheers!
