Lasso Tool contours remains after Content Aware Fill

So, I selected with the lasso tool and completed the content aware fill. I would like to make a few other changes to the image sharpness, but with the lasso tool still accuse of a contour of the area I did the content aware fill, it effects only the area of lasso-ed. How do the lasso-ed box disappear and keep my filling content up-to-date with change?

I hope this makes sense and I thank you for the help!

CTRL + D on Windows; Cmd + D on Mac. (Also allows to select > deselect in the menu bar.)

  • Content aware fill

I worked on this picture awhile back and used the tool lasso and aware filling content to remove the object in the corner.

I put the image in PS again today to rework the raw and did the same steps to remove the object but this time, it does not alter the entire object.

No idea why this worked last time and it isn't now?

Content aware fill founded fill on the surrounding image. When trimming without deleting pixels cropped that picture outside the surrounding culture still exists, even if you do not see. (You can prove it by moving the layer after harvest). If the lot has been taking into account the dark pixels at the edge of the visible area.

If this is a problem - you can use select Image - reveal everything and complete the problem area, then recrop.

  • Blurry Content Aware fill

I hope someone can give me advice to get better results with my image. (PS CS6, Windows 8)

I tried to remove a horse from an image using content aware fill.  Whenever the backfilled area is blurry and you can see very clearly the contours. Here are the steps I took:

    • On the copy of the background layer, roughly select the area to be filled with the lasso tool (pen 0 px, anti-aliasing settings active or non-active, makes no difference)
    • Edit-fill Content-Aware, opacity 100%, Normal Mode

I can't remember Content Aware fill me with blurred results before and wonder what I'm doing wrong.

I tried to use the patch tool, but it gives me an edge blur around the patched area (regardless of the setting of adaptation).

College is reading the entire image area, then maybe you have large outside areas of focus that he decides to use as the basis for filling?

Remember that it is an automatic process and sometimes the preset parameters to be wrong. I would try to isolate the area and copy it on a separate layer and then College.

  • Content aware fill does not work

I have a spot on a picture in Photoshop CC 2014.  I want to remove it.

I go to the Adobe tutorial and Julieanne Kost shows me exactly how high do this.  Lasso the question, go to Edition, select fill then Content Aware and press OK.  Nothing happens.

Despite several attempts in a few months, I was unable to get any default replacement tools to work.  The PS is updated.

    Suggestions?

I discovered what the problem is.  If I create a duplicate layer and change the overlap for anything but normal, so I am unable to do a content-aware fill.

  • Content Aware Fill-'insufficient memory '.

After watching a video on the Adobe site on the use of the new tool "Content aware fill" in CS5, I try to fill the empty space left in the merger of five images to make a panorama. The resulting, after flattening, file is 296 M. When I select the empty area around the image and the attempt of happy filling, it starts to work and then stops at Midway through this message, "could not complete because there is not enough memory (RAM live).

I'm running a MacPro (3.1) with OS 10.6.3 with 26 GB of RAM. Photoshop recognizes all the RAM, and I devoted 22 GB just for Photoshop. There is certainly enough RAM for any operation we can try in Photoshop. PS works in 64 bits, too. Any help on this would be highly appreciated.

As noted on the two other threads on this topic: it's a bug, and they are working on it.

  • Error in automatic merging with verified Content Aware Fill layers

I have Photoshop CC-2015.  With three layer stack images box, after selecting and align the images I use Edit > auto-merge layers with the checkbox content layers transparent Aware Fill verified.

The routine returns the following error:

"WARNING - no pixels were selected more than 50%.  The edges of the selection will be not visible.

    Then I get this error

"Could not fulfil, an internal error has occurred."

Following this Photoshop crashes about half the time.

I don't get this error if I do not check the box for Content Aware Fill

    Any ideas?

I might post a screenshot, but after restarting Windows (another reason), the problem disappeared.  The same image stack now works correctly.  Go figure!

I agree, content aware looks delicate and still does some funky things.  This one completely mystified me, even though, as there is no open space in the shot.  There was a lot of detail in the shot and I tried to have a first plan, outlines and background of the stacked layers.  Photoshop stack them and masks that result are usually correct, but some of the foreground from the background layer (a bit blurry) escaped into the final image.  It can be fixed easily, I guess it shows just the complexity of the stack.

  • Photoshop elements 13 Content Aware Fill does not

Hello, all. I am kind of new to 13 items and seem to have run into a bit of a blockade. I am trying to remove a tree in the background of a photo with content aware fill capacity; However, when I try this it loads as if she was working on it, but when he finished nothing has changed. I thought that perhaps it was not important enough to recognize what Fill (which seemed unlikely), then I advanced and tried on something more secluded and still nothing happens. I feel that I must have something wrong because a lot of my other tools are not no longer works, but I can't imagine what it is that I did wrong.

When the editor becomes weird, the first thing to do is to delete the preferences. Will the editor preferences > general, click this button and restart the Editor:

SUDDENLY it's how content aware fill works, or rather does not.

You gave him an image with a white border and hope he knows that the white pixels are not desired.  It can't really know that.

You could put the image on a layer, use the magic wand tool to select white, extend just a little, then delete it.  Content Aware Fill knows that transparent pixels are not candidates to be used to rebuild the parts of the image.

Or you can use the layer mask.  Similarly, Content Aware Fill don't use parts of the image that are hidden to fill the other parts.

    I hope this helps.

  • CS5 64-bit Content Aware Fill kills Healing brush, clone stamp

    Here's the deal:

    (1) open an image for editing-bottom only layer

    (2) make the copy of the layer of background because I never touch it and College won't work on the white layer I use for all other alterations

    (3) add the empty layer above the two previous layers for clone stamp/healing work - cannot use it for content-aware fill

    (4) find something that will touch up better with the CAF that cloning or healing and fix it with the CAF on layer 2

    (5) the Healing Brush tool and the Clone Stamp now do not work.  I can see them, and the Clone Stamp continues to preview in the brush properly, but when clicked nothing happens.

The only solution I found is to save the image, and then restart CS5.

    CS5 64-bit, Win7 Pro 64 bit, Core2duo e8400, 8gigs RAM

    Steve

Well, I think I have reproduced what you see.

Rather than use the Spot Healing Brush to call Content Aware Fill on the background copy layer, I selected an area then did Edit - Fill.

Keep in mind that you will have to clear before using the tool clone again.

If you have not done, that there why you see nothing painted by the clone tool.  The selection you did to clear the handful of stool is always active.

Hoping it's as simple as that!

  • Standing and Content Aware fill is available on iOS Photoshop Mix?

I can't find the button 'more publishes"on the iPhone version of Mix.   Since this is cloud based, there is no reason to not offer that Yes?  I am a Subscriber CC too.

Hello and thanks for your note.  The iPhone has a smaller screen, (often) WiFi more tenuous (vs) cell and a category much more busy photo and video apps, our intention to remove that content should focus and accelerate our basic workflow (selective and composite corrections). We are also accustomed to the powers of the content-aware fill, shake reduction and pitched on the ipad version of Mix - please measure our first release of the iPhone as a starting point - we're certainly attentive to the comments and the expectations of the user.

    Thanks again,

  • How can I protect certain areas are copied when using Content Aware Fill in CS6?

I want to remove the paper box and soft bottom.  When I use the content aware fill, it copies a few people...  How can I protect the people to be copied?  Or is there a better way to remove unwanted objects?SKP_6409.JPG

To prevent collection of the material, you don't want to, as the picture, one layer and mask just on the stuff that you don't want for you (and filling) do not see Content Aware Fill.  It's the easiest way I find to remember.
