Layout for phone and Tablet

I want to make the different layouts for phone and Tablet - and I was at a seminar Adobe three weeks, where they showed that it is possible.

However, I find the "Default phone" and "Default tablet" in layouts and cards - How do those?

-Sia

First, you created a collection app 2 level top nav?

If so, you should see 2 different top-level navigation in the collection of content/collections. Default Tablet and phone by default:

Collections and objects for Tablet in first for smartphone in the second

If not, then you must share the same TLC for phone and tablets. Average of witch you will need as a layout for both.

  • Old Muse site (with different layers for phone and Tablet) converted to a sensitive site of Muse

    Hello

I am very happy to see that the new sensitive version came.

How can I switch my muse old sites on sensitive new version?

Thank you very much in advance for your help!

The new version of Muse, released last night adds support for sensitive sites (a provision that changes based on the width of the browser). Muse continues to support adaptive websites (different layouts for phone, Tablet, desktop computer).

Convert a large site of adaptive to sensitive will be a significant amount of work.

Before you try to convert an existing site to adaptive answering, I would say only to discover the new sensitive device by looking at a few tutorials and creation of a new sensitive site from scratch in order to have a good idea what is possible. Then you can decide if you want to convert an existing site.

  • How can I access the mobile site for phone and Tablet map versions?

I presented a site map for the desktop version by entering www.mysite/sitemap.xml to webmaster tools easily. This site map includes mobile pages, but Google is able to index the pages office, ignoring those mobile simply. I have to do something different?

Thanks for any help and suggestions.

You won't need to do anything more here Muse generates a sitemap for the site that contains all the information for Tablet and mobile version, Google knows that office pages are canonical.

You can find more details here: Google groups

  • Muse produced automatically from the "canonical" tags for phone and tablet, but it does not include "www". How to fix?

So if I have my site j - 26.com redirect to www.j-26.com then my canonical url should be: " " http://www.j-26.com/ "right? "

Adobe Muse automatically inserts the tags for the version of phone as " " http://j-26.com/ "is there a way to fix this or should I switch my www.j-26.com redirect to j - 26.com? "

It's a kind of confusion so I hope it made sense.

Muse is to use what you entered the download to the FTP host domain... or export as HTML dialog boxes.

  • Different layout for phones BB10 and PlayBooks?

    Hello

In point 4.1.2 Android, I use "provision" and "release page-sw600dp" files to differentiate the schema xml for phones and tablets. However I can't use it to 2.3.3 as they began to support such feature of 3.2. And anyway, it does not affect that android is concerned because there is no Tablet out there with Androd 2.3.3 of.

But BB10 phones and tablets support only 2.3.3 runtime. So is there anyway that I can declare different presentation for phones and PlayBooks in a single application project? Otherwise, I need to make two different applications to phones and one for tablets. Please let me know what is the best way to support different screen sizes.

    Thank you

    Knockaert

You can use the page-xlarge for PlayBook and layout for phones, as you would to support honeycomb devices and phones in one application.

  • scrollbars disabled in both phone and Tablet

I created a Web site called eatanddo.com on muse from adobe. The web version and phone are running. When I made the version of phone that I was able to make really long pages and then preview the pages using a scroll bar. Now, I'm working on the part of the tablet of the site and pages grew with the content in the first instance. Then they did it. However, now I can't preview the page scrolling is disabled. I can't more alarming scroll my content in mode found on the version of the phone, even though I have before and I didn't not the content of the phone at all. On the site properties dialog box that the sealing of desktop browser scrollbars is enabled, but they are disabled for phone and tablet. Help, please.scrollbar.png

If you talk about the display in the preview of the Muse, you can scroll the contents of the view of the phone or Tablet seen by putting your mouse over the content of the phone or Tablet and scrolling up and down with a mouse or by clicking scroll wheel now and dragging up/down.

The scroll bar on the wndow can be used to scroll through the phone or Tablet frame up and down (if the window is short). It is not used to scroll the content displayed in the content area of phone/tablet.

  • Feature Request: Double page layouts for phone / Tablet collections

This is a feature suggestion, especially where you have sensitive items in the collections that extend across the phone and Tablet top level NAV.

IE: same collection includes two provisions applied - one for Tablet, one for the phone.

Dream scenario would be a presentation for iOS phones, tablets, Android phones, tablets.

Not too much to ask, is it?

I had posted this same request a few days ago. Neil has indicated that this is a feature they want to deploy Q1 2016!

  • Phone and Tablet layouts

I am currently migrating folios from an application before the new 2015 DPS. I have two folios of each issue, one for the Tablet and one for the phone. From my understanding, I need to select a Top level Collection 2 in the project settings to get these to work on both devices. I plan also on the integration of Wordpress posts in the App. A magazine designed, therefore, to sit alongside content from our blog.

My question is, if I select this option Top level Collection 2, I need to create 2 HTML files for content that is integrated with a CMS, or it will automatically optimize to adapt to both? Continue to create the magazine with two sizes is fine, as all items are custom creations.

    I hope that makes sense!

You can simply create a copy of the HTML article files as it will fill the screen and be responsive, and add that a single item to the collections the phone and tablet.

  • Direction of scrolling for mobile and tablet of switching

    Hello

I am creating a web page with horizontal scrolling, but with the sense of vertical scrolling of the mouse. It now dawned on me only for use on mobile phones and tablet users will not be able to access the site by using the vertical scroll. Is it possible to go scrolling when on mobile phones and tablets without changing the whole layout.

    Thank you

To change the orientation of the page itself with scrolling for mobile devices? In this case, no, we cannot simply change the scrolling horizontally with all content being same with vertical scrolling.

    Thank you

So instead of plan all 22 pages Office in tablet mode - for example, Muse gives me only a single page. Also phone mode.

    What I am doing wrong?

Thanks in advance for your answers.

    Marc

    Thank you Eric.

I solved the problem in the meantime. Due to my lack of experience, it was not clear to me to remove the phone - + Tablet page layout and then add them again.

Muse will immediately create new white pages equal number of the desktop version.

  • My new site is done, now I do a phone and tablet version. How can I connect all the 3 sites with having duplicate content.

    Hi again.

When I close my phone and tablet version on my site, I intend to have two large buttons at the top of the Web site that say "CLICK HERE for VERSION PHONE" AND "PRESS HERE for TABLET VERSION.

How you launch the phone and tablet with making it duplicate content?

... Make articles to submit my site with 3 different versions?

    For example,.

    (1) see HumboldtPitBulls.Com for some of the best traditional dogs (goes to 'normal PC version' of the website)

    (2) If you are interested in seeing see some beautiful APBTs website (goes to 'version of phone' web site)

    (3) If you want to learn more about the history of the old Rednose Pitbull family discover our items (goes to version 'Tablet' on the website)

Please tell me I didn't need on the 'market' all 3 versions separate. Looks like more work that simply "come see HumboldtPitBulls.Com".

    Thanks again!

    Hello

You can create all three layouts of your site in a single file of Muse and publish/export/upload as required. Muse generates the code to detect the device used by the user and automatically redirects to relevant content... You only need to promote the "yourbusinessname.com" and Muse handles redirection to "yourbusinessname.com/phone/" or "yourbusinessname.com/tablet/" depending on what device you use to access the site.

Please see a few resources around Muse: Designing for Devices.

  • Phone and Tablet Menu size questions

    Hello again!

I have trouble to adapt to the size of the menu bar on the phone and Tablet layout of my site. The layout of the Office is good to go, but the problem here is I want to make the menu bar in the smart phone of my site layout adjusts automatically to the size of the screen while keeping the three expand button on the left and the tabs in the menu bar in the Center. I would like also for the menu to expand only when the user clicks on, and not only when the mouse pointer is placed on it.

Apart, another issue I'm facing is the menu bar on the presentation of the Tablet, how can I do to make it develops across the screen entirely and not just after the last button in menu bar? I want the menu bar completely through the entire screen is any size of the tablet.

As always, any help will be greatly appreciated.

  • application on the phone and Tablet

I have an application with a version for phones. Now I intend to create the application for the Playbook by using the native SDK. I got a new set of key signature for the NDK. So, if the user buy the app for the Playbook or their phone, can they can get for free for the other device? Is buying related to the same app World and do not want to touch the phone and tablet version is signed with?

    Thank you
    NIC

    Basically, you have two options:

    (1) to submit the PlayBook version as a new application

    (2) to present the PlayBook version as a new version of your application for phone

If you choose option 1) users who have purchased the phone app should buy the app PlayBook too if they want to use it

If you choose option 2) users who have bought the phone app will be able to download free version of the PlayBook. The reverse is also true - if a user has purchased the PlayBook version, he or she will be able to download free version of phone. It is because the purchases are linked to the BlackBerry ID and most users will use the same ID on PlayBook and phone.

Option 2) has additional options - all the notes and comments will go to one and the same product. In addition, you will need to adjust the app description if the functionality of these two version is different.

Signature keys have nothing to do with the Tablet and phone versions, they are pure development.
