Lenovo Thinkpad Yoga 15 Ghost touches

Hello world

A few days after that I got my 15 tonnes per YEAR with 10 Windows, he began recording the keys at random ghost which close and open windows, to pause videos and others.

It happens usually when I turn on the computer (start, returning from sleep/hibernate), I was wondering if anyone else has this problem and if there is a solution.

  • Lenovo Thinkpad Yoga X 1 touch screen does not work

    Hi all

I just bought a brand new Thinkpad Yoga X 1 and out of the box, the touch screen is not recognized by windows and no entry through fingers or via pen works.

I would be very happy if someone could tell me if it's just a wrong settings or if the laptop is faulty.

    Thank you in advance,

    Hello Peter,.

Thanks for your quick response. Unfortunately, it was not a software problem, but the dealer that I bought traded without any hesitation and now I have a new unit that works like a charm.

  • Lenovo ThinkPad X 1 carbon touch connects to two external monitors (1920 x 1080)

I'll order Lenovo ThinkPad X 1 carbon Touch.

I want to figure out a way to connect to 2 monitors (same model, 1920 x 1080)

the laptop monitor could either be disabled or enabled.

Q1) how about "Lenovo DisplayPort two-way cable DisplayPort?

will there be any display lay?

-the laptop monitor must turns off?

My two monitors are VGA-HDMI/DVIonly supported. In this case, the installation would be

x 1 button of carbon-> Lenovo DisplayPort to dual DisplayPort cable-> mini displayport to hdmi

    Q2), anyone tried this before?

    Q3) all other options?

    Thank you very much.

    X 1 carbon spec touch I'll order

    -Intel Core i7-3667U, 2.0 GHz, 4 MB L3, 1333 MHz FSB)

    -8GB 1600 MHz DDR3, 8 GB, 1 location

-Intel HD Graphics 4000, 1 GB

-Ethernet Via USB (included dongle), Intel Centrino Advanced N 6205 (a/g/n) Wireless Broadband Mobile option 3G / 4G (LTE), Bluetooth® 4.0

-DVI via optional dongle, dongle included VGA, headphone/Microphone, Webcam video HD built-in, (1) USB 3.0 port, (1) USB 2.0 port, (Note: external to RAS access card reader and USB docking station must be ordered separately.)

T1) for Displayport to Displayport splitter, you can keep the internal LCD screen. Given that the laptop considers external two monitors connected via the dispatcher as a simple external LCD.

It would be easier for you to get just a Displayport to Dual DVI splitter.

    http://intrl.StarTech.com/AV/splitters/DisplayPort/DisplayPort-to-Dual-DVI-multi-monitor-adapter-MAL...

It works on the same principle, but do the DVI out instead of the Displayport port on.

  • ThinkPad Yoga gestures on touch screen

    Hello

I have the problem that all the actions of Windows 8.1 works perfectly well with the Touchpad, but most does not work with the touch screen.

Pinch to zoom in, click on a finger or selection or longer a finger click for menu right click drop-down menu work fine.

Especially in tablet mode, it's annoying to have to enter the pen to use slide from the side of the screen to the right to open the bar of charms and not being able to use my finger.

I guess it's just a problem of parameters which is a little hard to find - or I'm blind looking for it - because with the exception of theses actions the touch screen works fine and precise as it should.

Thanks for any help you guys can give me!

PS. : The Machine is a Thinkpad Yoga

EDIT: Ok, I've just discovered in playback Mode when the camera is on the right side, everything work perfect - the other 3 positions the problem is still

I had a similar problem on mine. Recalibrate the touch screen fixed.

Many people have problems with this on Windows 7 devices that came with touchscreens when at the edge of the touchscreen is not capable of being touched. I'm guessing that Windows 8 requires the button start to limit (or beyond the edge) of the screen for the gesture to be detected.

When the screen is badly calibrated, when you touch the edge of the screen, it registers as just inside of the edge and is detected as a click instead. Given that the calibration does not change with the rotation of the device, I'd be your vertical calibration is ok (because it works in playback mode), but that your horizontal calibration is a little off.

If you are looking for "Calibration" in the Control Panel, the "Tablet PC Settings' contains the menu to recalibrate the touch (and the pen if you have a) entries

  • Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga S240 - Chrome drag-and - drop

    Hello

I can't drag & drop in google chrome app, even if I use a split screen. I use google reader for example.

I did google a lot on this topic but I never really found an answer except maybe I need to install another version, a desktop version of google chrome. Is it true?

    Anyone with experience with this?

    Hi MAZ,.

Welcome to the Community Forums of Lenovo!

According to the request, we understand that you have a problem with Google Chrome application on your ThinkPad Yoga S240.

Uninstall the browser Google Chrome from your system, delete the whole folder chrome and run the registry cleaner and restart the system. After restarting download and install Google chrome with the latest version and check if the problem solved.

    I hope this helps.

  • Help of digitizer Lenovo Thinkpad Yoga S1

OK, so I just got a thinkpad yoga S1. The that I had was the one without the digitizer pen automatically installed in the side of the computer. The pen came separately and it is the same as that exact one used with the version that comes with the pen. I do not know the product code or even what her name. Which driver should I install and how can I register the product? Also, because the version I have has as a black spot where the digitizer normally goes is there a way I can get out and be able to accommodate the supplied stylus separately?

I think that there are two options, that it is either the stylus or it doesn't. Who does not have integrated pen does not support the feather because of the used Panel. That's what I remember when I was doing research in this unit.

  • Lenovo Thinkpad X carbon 1 Touch 3444CUU - Wi - Fi adapter issues

I have a GCU 3444 I really like. When I got that I realized the wireless adapter stopped only randomly work. I've updated all the possible drivers and I am always the same questions. All I can do is to reset the adapter to get the shot again. I don't know if the wifi is welded or if it could be removed or replaced, but I'm really leaning towards it being a hardware problem.

He's going to either work stoppage could Turkey, will not be to detect wireless networks or it will stop working and I still can't see other wireless networks but I can't communicate with them. Reset of the card is the only option. I'm writing this now the wireless is out again. I so reset the adapter for 5-10 minutes of internet just so that I can post this.

    Anyone of these problems?

    -l' screen stays off

-After that, it turns off completely for about 1 second and leaves with the same behavior

-This boot loop continues until I close it and it stops from new

  • Boot ThinkPad Yoga 'howto' from a SD card?

    Hello

is it possible to make bootable from a SD card on Lenovo Thinkpad Yoga?

I live linux image, but there is no optical drive on the system, then I would be happy to use the SD card slot. When don't start with selection of boot, there no SD card slot even though I have inserted in bootable SD card. On the other system, the same card start correctly.

Is there some settings of wood to allow the start of SD card slot, so it will be included in the list of boot devices? The same system to boot from USB, USB use a USB port, so the SD card is a better option.

    Concerning

ThinkPad does not support booting from SD card.

Have you any idea what need then try to solve this problem?

  • ThinkPad Yoga - black screen

After reading question formidable black screen for other models, I check if the Thinkpad Yoga also has the black screen problem. Since this happened just within one month after the expiration of the warranty, if it proves to be the hardware problem this has strong changes as the latest product lenovo belonging to the family.

Question: I'm back a work House to wake up my sleeping Lenovo. Noticed that he seemed to be in mode black screen with nothing appear. So tried to press a few buttons and then finally turned off using the button. To restart, I could see the sign of Lenovo and the option to press ENTER to check the other options and I ignored as usual scenario happy path and let it go. At the time, that it usually starts showing the Windows screens, I don't see anything happen. A black screen with all the lights on the keyboard still works but no screen. Connected to the projector to see if the login screen displays, but it didn't. Tried to reboot several times, reset using the hole of pin down, ran Diagnostics and tried to update the system etc using the options of troubleshooting, checked BIOS settings - that appear on the screen and the LCD like a charm test pass, but when Windows starts does not work.

ThinkPad Yoga 15 running on Windows 10 pro. 20DQ type of machine.

The frustarting thing is guaranteed just expired in late July, phone support will not even discuss the issue since he arrived at expiration. I spent the right amount of days thinking about spending a lot on this laptop last year only to reach a point in a year I might have to spend little more just to save her. Help, please!

Hello. Is it possible that system has gone through an automatic update to Windows 10 anniversary? If Yes, I have experienced the same problem - it will not start and show only black screen. For me, the previous generation ASR failed also. Here are my options:

    (1) I managed to complete the update after you follow this procedure - https://support.lenovo.com/cz/en/solutions/ht501760

    (2) if that is not enough at this point (I don't know if this setting is needed before a failed installation), I was able to recover a previous version:

-on another computer, download Microsoft media creation tool and create and install USB offline media

-boot from media by pressing F12 at startup and on the second screen (I think) at installation, you can decide not to install the system, but recover the system - there is a link on the lower left corner. This brings you to the recovery screen where you can revert to a previous version

I would like to know if it's completely irrelevant, or it is useful.

  • ThinkPad Yoga 14 (20FY) - can not auto-rotation, Missing in Action Center - WIndows 10

I just did a clean install of Windows on my Thinkpad Yoga 14 10. I tried to install all the drivers that I could. The only thing missing for the laptop, it's that I can't auto-rotation in tablet mode. Auto-rotation setting is missing from the center of the action and enter the display settings is not an option to allow auto-rotation. I also tried enabling the sensor, the sensor monitoring service and Service of sensor data with no luck. What are the conditions to get this working?

    Thank you!

I finally got it to work. After some intense searching, I found the driver that I had to install. It ends up being the Intel integrated sensor Solution. Installation of the package has work as well as the addition of a "sensors" section in device with drivers HID sensor Manager.

It's weird that the driver does not show in the ThinkPad Yoga 14 drivers page.

  • ThinkPad Yoga S1 battery

    Hello

is there a battery as a replacement for a Thinkpad Yoga S1?

The S1 Yoga BOM FRU ThinkPad: http://download.lenovo.com/parts/ThinkPad/yoga_fru_bom_20140319.pdf

There are two FRU P/Ns for the battery 8 cells internal on the first page.

If you look at the hardware maintenance manual: http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/detail.page?DocID=UM019563

Manual pages 61 and 62 retail access to and removal of the battery is internal. Please note, however, this manual page 49 specifies that he is not a Self-service or optional service VINTAGE (CRUS by).

    Kind regards.
