• I would like to only convert a c++ for use in labview dll - my camera has no DLLs in labview

  I have a piezoelectric Control Board (Piezomechanik gmbh) that I would use through LabView.  Currently, the company offers no support for Labview.  Windows detect the device (it came with a driver file), but the company only provides for C++ and Visual Basic dll files.  Can I convert these files to a format that can use Labview?  How can I get Labview to communicate with the control of Narcotics (and ultimately the piezoelectric device attached)?  Thank you!

  This will help you only when you have the header for the DLL file, otherwise you have to create manually using the "call library node' and the description of api DLL wrapper or write a header file for the DLL yourself based on the documentation of the api and the wizard.

  Hello people,

  I am a student assistant and my current project is to complete what was launched in a work of degree more than a year ago: to build an experimental platform to test the effect of superconductivity on maglev technology. Part of this experimental platform is a precision three-rail network operated by compact inverters HCS01 (IndraDrive Cs) by Bosch Rexroth.

  My question is: is it possible to use LabView to operate the three axes of a central VI?

  I have already connected all three compact inverters to a computer and I am able to operate using most Ds-startup-easy mode, but I can only operate separately and not of a single window.

• Use of LabView to solenoid in the gas system.

  First of all, I'm new to the LabView program don't know much this program but it can connect and control instrument.

  Second, my Adviser want to move the manual system in an automatic system that control through LabView using

  the temperature and the pressure is a trigger to open/close the solenoid valve. (starting with the solenoid valve 3-way 2-way and 1 2)

  Third, this system starts from scratch; for now, I have an evaluation version of LabView 2010 for the test and temperature/pressure sensor in RS323

  which easily connect to LabView.

  The problem is which module or equipment to connect the solenoid with LabView?

  I think that the Green wire solenoids ASCO is grounded.  Red and black are power.  If you use an AC solenoid, you can go from a solid state relay.  Static relay more require 3-32 VDC to a few my for the control and the control is isolated from the electrical circuit.  There are some DAQ with outputs digital equipment that can drive the input solid state relays.

  Using maxon EPOS 2 (positioning system easy) to order the EC motor. It comes with Windows 32 - Bit DLL for labVIEW. How to use these anointings of library in labVIEW correctly? When I try to call the function of library in a LabVIEW program, it shows me a warning about a caller and if the Subvi is not executable. Do I have to change the location of files library or make any other change?

  I know you can use labVIEW for reading/writing from/to excel. If you use labVIEW to read an excel (CSV) file, what can do you with it afterwards. I've seen a few videos and tutorials on read/write excel files, but I've not seen one that uses the excel file to do something in labVIEW.

  I think that something like this is very useful, and it seems that I can't find a few examples or tutorials on this. So, I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction to learn something like that, where you actually use the excel file in labVIEW, rather than just read.

  I think that something like this would be directly related to the type of data that comes out of reading a file, which would be as a string table 2d or integer. I was unable to find much on the use of 2d as well.

  I'm new on products OR, and I tried to use the BNC connected to a PCI card 2090 6036E on LabVIEW data acquisition. However, I still can't find a way to add this device (2090) to my list of 'Devices and Interfaces' OR max. As far as I understand, this step is necessary to assign the pins and begin to acquire data from the BNC-2090 on LabVIEW channels.

  The 2090 is just a silent block of endings. It does not show as a device. You acquire DAQ device - the 6036.

  I am creating a dull in LabVIEW file using the use Matlab. It seems to create a group called "Vector" without knowing precisely in, and he also concatenates the group names and the channel.   I built a hygrometer to mirror cooled for a school project and all control through labview. I'll have the dew point and the temperature of the dry dry bulb that I need to calculate the rate of moisture through an algorithm or a look up table psychrometric charts. can anyone help please.

  The necessary equations to calculate the relative humidity of pressure and dry and wet bulb temperature can be found here:

  With both temperatures and pressure to come as long as variables, I would break just calculating what they have on the Web page linked, by first calculating the pressure of saturated steam and wet bulb ==> and then calculate the actual vapour pressure ==> then the relative humidity. All operators you need for these calculations must be under the function of mathematical operators range. You could call all individual operations, including the exponentials, or just use a few knots of formula.
  Of course, just dump everything in a while loop (with a delay), to make the system constantly monitor and update the moisture.

  I am now in college and I'm looking to use LabVIEW for robotics work. During my research, I found some manufacturers for material screw: however their "latest" version seems to be in LabVIEW 5.

  Someone would be kind enough to convert my screws at least LabVIEW 6 or up to LabVIEW 8.2.1 (latest version that can open the LabVIEW 5 screws) would be great. My LabVIEW 8.6 should be able to open the screw saved in LabVIEW 6 or higher. (Obviously not LabVIEW 2009!)

• How can I write a Dll to perform a union in visual studio for use in LabVIEW?

  I am new to writing dll. I am trying to write a Dll that will perform a union on a number of LabVIEW and then return the result in LabVIEW for my use. I've been struggling with this during a few days and I finally give in to get help.

  This screenshot is the only description I have to help me with what I'm trying to do. Basically, I'm trying to pass a value that will be different according to a measurement of partial discharge. In the screen below, the value used is '1061111989' this number is my reading. I need to pass that value of labVIEW in my dll to perform a union on that.

  In my Dll, I need to write the value of MeterReading.IntVal and to the MeterReading.FloatVal.

  

  I have Visual Studio complete 2012 2012 Edition LabVIEW full, I'm LabVIEW CLAD and I wrote 17 floors of test to the United States to date. However, I've never needed Visual Studio so far. Can someone help me with this?

• Use of LabVIEW memory grows slowly but continuously during execution

  I am having trouble with LabVIEW. I develop a data acquisition application. My application acquires data, it (i.e. make a FFT) processes and displays the FFT and samples acquired in some graphics.

  The problem I have encountered is Labview is allocation memory more every minute of what my program is running until finally, it crashes. When starting my program uses about 400 MB of memory after 4 minutes approximately 1.2 GB. Sometimes, when the memory usage reaches 1.2 GB it is suddenly up to 500 MB, but most of the time Labview crashes.

  I already checked the tool 'Profile Performance and Memory'. Surprisingly, my screws have constant use of memory during execution.

  Someone has an idea, what happens?

• Relay control using cRIO LabVIEW and the NI 9472 c series module

  Hi all

  I try to get my program to run so far without success, and need help.

  I use the compact rio with the program on labVIEW and the NI 9472 digital output module. I enclose my VI.

  Basically, it's a test program to run an algorithm at a time. If I use a solid state format to get a time warp that dictates, time of execution of the algorithm. The operation by default, I put is for when the time channel produced a fake.

  Question 1: The problem I have is that even if the time string is true, as it does not run. It remains in State sending false so only of false signals to my relay (which is represented by the round LED - relay switch a solenoid on and outside).

  Question 2: If I can get 1 problem solved, the next step I have will be executing the same algorithm, but for more than a State of time. For example. "06:00" run algorithm. I want this algorithm to keep running as long as he sends signals REAL (which means the solenoid valve remains open until a WRONG signal). Then he will run again to say '08:00 ', execute the algorithm as long as he sends signals REAL and so on...

  In summary -.

  -I want to order a relay (which controls a solenoid)

  -L' use of components listed above

  -With the help of semiconductor in labVIEW (VI attached)

  -At different times, the execution of the algorithm UNTIL sends the WRONG signal and then return to the default state, which means that his waiting until the time channel product TRUE.
