Lightroom 5.7 Desktop with Lightroom Mobile sync on iPad

I don't see my Collections of 5.7 Lightroom on my desk in Lightroom Mobile on my iPad. The collections are marked in Lightroom 5.7 on the desktop for synchronization. But when you launch Lightroom Mobile on my iPad it says "no available Collections. Sync in Lightroom desktop to start activation. "As far as I know I have activated sync in Lightroom Desktop. Is there something I'm doing worng?

When I launch Lightroom Desktop I get a popup message saying "signed in Sync is ON. 10 collections are marked for synchronization. Change? Tab Preferences Menu Lightroom Mobile said 591 synchronized pictures. Where did they are synchronized on?

There was a bad configuration at the end of your account. This should be fixed now. Please try again after a re-sign-in within the application Mobile from LR. You can re-sign-in when you open the settings via the icon in the top left Lr. - Guido

  • Question Lightroom Mobile Sync

    Hi all

I think that ultimately, I need help from technical support Adobe, but that throw out there for others who have similar questions.  I've had two different subscriptions with Adobe (don't ask why): (1) monthly subscription to the photographer who included Photoshop Lightroom and Photoshop CC, and (2) a single subscription to InDesign.  I obviously should have bought the full suite of CC knowing what I know now.  I noticed the Black Friday sale before Adobe offered and contacted support by chat for 1) cancel subscriptions for both above and 2) replace them by a subscription to subsequently complete CC I thought allowed access to all Adobe applications.

When I run Lightroom in my identity plate area, I try to use Lightroom Mobile sync (worked until I canceled my photographer package) and am currently get a message that my laptop Lightroom has expired and cannot perform the synchronization between the Office of Lightroom and Lightroom on iOS.  When I connect to my account on the Adobe Web site to watch to see what subscriptions I active, I show two lists: (1) my newly acquired Creative Suite of cloud and the package of 2) my expired photographer listed have expired.

Yet once again, I expect that the full suite of Cloud Creative should have allowed me to synchronize Mobile with Lightroom.  Instructions for Lightroom syncing seems to indicate that this is the case (screenshot below).  All advice appreciated words.

    Thank you!

  • Lightroom mobile sync

How to stop synchronization of photos with Lightroom for mobile, specially for those that originated on the iPad?

I downloaded pictures from my camera to my iPad and then load them into Lightroom Mobile.  On my mac from Lightroom, I moved images from the imported photos iPad directory to another location.  I would like to keep the photos in Lightroom on my mac but don't want the originals, or the synchronized Lightroom photos on my iPad.  Can I delete photos from my photo library, but they remain sync with mobile Lightroom.  If I use the option 'Remove' in Lightroom mobile, it removes the image of these two mobile libraries and office.

During the synchronization of a collection from the desktop to the mobile version, that you can uncheck just collections sync symbol but I don't see an equivalent means for photos on the iPad.  The photos show a symbol saying be in sync with the mobile version, but there is no way I am saying to deselect the sync symbol.

Answered my own question.  If you want to delete photos from your iPad and Mobile with Lightroom that originated on your iPad, but keep them in Lightroom Desktop follow these steps:

[in assuming that you already imported the iPad photos to Lightroom Mobile and have them sync would return to your Lightroom Office]

    (1) to add photos to a collection in Lightroom Desktop and synchronization with the Mobile (they're already sync'd but necessary for the next steps)

    (2) on your iPad, delete photos from the photos app

    (3) in Lightroom Desktop uncheck the sync

The photos are now removed from your Ipad and unsync'd with mobile Lightroom but will remain in Office with Lightroom.

  • Edition of Lightroom Mobile Sync - 'Sync has been turned off. This seems to be a backup catalog... »

Hi, I just tried to synchronize. I am logged on LR5.4 and on mobile. I ran the sync once, that seemed to work. The next time that I'm connected, I got a dialog box saying "Sync has been turned off. This seems to be a backup catalog that can be updated with Lightroom mobile. "To do this, your catalog sync go in Edition > Preferences > mobile Lightroom and click on the button Delete all data.

It is not a backup catalog, is my main and one alone, but I deleted all the data anyway. No difference. When I start the synchronization immediately made up the dialog.

    Any ideas?

    See you soon,.

    Scott

Scott, you mention in your post "the next time I logged in." do you have explicitly signed out of sync Lightroom Mobile on the desktop after you sync the first time?  Or you might need to reconnect on the launch.  If it's the latter, this should not occur and could be another indication that the catalog you have signed forward is not the same (that is a backup or a copy that is not state same you were when you last signed in).  This catalog is shared between both machines somehow?

If you see this and you are certainly not in a backup catalog, you should be able to perform the following operations with Lightroom close.  This will work better if you did remove all the data, even if it is not mandatory.  If you do not, after relaunch of Lr, we will rebuild your sync status which can take some time depending on how much you have synced.  I wouldn't do this for any other situation.

On OSX: In the Finder go /Users/Data / Sync.lrdata Library/Caches/Adobe/Lightroom/Sync and delete it.

Windows: In explore go to C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Adobe\Lightroom\Caches\Sync.lrdata and delete it

  • How to STOP Lightroom Mobile sync when attached.

I have LR set up Mobile to allow offline editing etc, which means a lot of data must be downloaded and stored locally.  Normally I do it when I am uncomfortable on wifi.  The other day, the download had not finished when I need to get out.   This prevents the download that I don't have an active mobile sim in ipad.  That's what I want to do.

Unfortunately, I needed to get online with the ipad and it attached to my iphone to do.  During the time he was tetherd mobile LR resumed its download so consume my data months any compensation on the iphone.  Yes I have thought about it and maybe I should have killed the LR Mobile app prior to attaching,

I thought to turn off Mobile data in settings | Lightroom would stop this behavior, only it while the ipad is connected to an iphone LR it's wifi and continues to download... And eat monthly data allowance.

can anyone think anyway to avoid this other that kill the application before attaching.

If you hover over your identity (upper-left in desktop LR) plate a menu icon dropdown should appear. Click it to open the activity center and you can pause services including LR Mobile.

  • Adobe Lightroom Mobile Sync problem / Collection do not sync but the pictures already online

    Hello

I have been using lightroom for 1-2 years now after moving to Aperture (already used on the PC for a week). I have about 140 000 pictures and videos on it, of which 95 000 are on lightroom mobile (apparently 90 videos online).

I love it and I'm frustrated with these 'X Sync photos' on the left. Usually, I had some left of synchronization and collections quickly get photos online, but this isn't the case. I now have 3000 + photos waiting for synchronization (for the most part by adjustment for the photos I guess) and 1 new collection that I created yesterday evening (as there are 10 h) that contains previously downloaded photos no doubt only (and which are online) are simply not showing on my iphone Mobile with Lightroom or the web interface.

What are the proposals? Can I send a diagnosis form to Adobe to watch? Please do not suggest to remove the file from .ircat to computer synchronization, did before and what I see on the forum is simply not helping issues in sync, I also check the web interface, but I almost 100 000 pictures I looked more later thousands (when I imported all was synchronized) and no. blackened photographs.

I want to use Lightroom Mobile as much as possible, but it has a lot of problems or is so slow (by the way, I have 50Mbps download and download 5 Mbps). Sometimes, nothing moves for days.

I'd love to send you any diagnostic file that you want to solve this problem. Really a concern when it should be a smooth experience.

I think Lightroom should include at least a list of photos that are being synchronized for troubleshooting purposes. This seems to be a common question "X photos not sync for days or stuck.

    Hi Jeff,

When you do a new collection in Office LR I select generally all the thumbnails in this collection and build smart preview on the fly. In the menu: click on library > Previews > build intelligent surveys. I score then the collection for synchronization, and which seems to speed things up. Give it a try.

  • Lightroom mobile syncing the iPhone to the web site but no office

I created an album on my iPhone in Lightroom Mobile and set it to auto import of my camera. This album works fine on the iPhone and all the new images appear when I discovered lightroom.adobe.com. The album also appears in my Lightroom Mac, but the images never import to it. Please notify.

Lightroom v5.7, Mac OS 10.10.1 on a MB Pro retina

    Thank you

OK, I found this one. Lightroom looks like the folder for a folder Lightroom Mac /Pictures to write the Mobile Downloads.lrdata file and its contents. I had moved my Lightroom to Dropbox folder it and created an alias in /Pictures. Lightroom did not like the alias. As soon as he took a new Lightroom directory were made and a new Downloads.lrdata Mobile file has been created.

  • Lightroom Mobile sync in a place with bad internet.

Hi guys, I have a question on behalf of my father who wants to sync sound catalog PC Lightroom with its iPhone. He's an old guy (79 years) with moderate tech knowledge who lives in a region of Australia where he can only get very slow and expensive satellite internet. As such, I wonder if there is a way it can synchronize its PC Lightroom Catalog with his iPhone without downloading and downloading data through a cloud server-based. Ideally, this will happen automatically when the two his laptop and iPhone are connected to the same wifi network in his home and work directly between its devices. If you know anyway that it can be please let me know.

Thanks in advance. I really appreciate your time.

No, it isn't. Mobile synchronization happens only on the internet.

It would be preferable to simply copy the images from computer to phone the mobile use of LR.

  • Lightroom Mobile sync is unusably slow

Synchronization performance Mobile LR is almost unusably bad.  Is there a way to improve this?

I tried to synchronize the 2000 pictures of my iPhone 6 s + LR Office.  It has been three evenings of babysitting this process, and it's even lower to half way through.  I'm on the last iOS10 and iCloud as library lit.  Using the latest versions of LR (2015.7 CC on desktop) and 2.5.2 on iPhone

    Three key questions:

    • LR Mobile used 6.04 GB of space
(and I had not quite free, so synchronization kept at a standstill until I manually deleted important applications)

I think LR do not use this extra space - I take lots of photos and keep that much free space.

    • Download happens only when LR Mobile is in the foreground
When the lock screen comes up or I going on apps, pictures stop sync'ing

It's annoying seriously - many other applications photos most popular have had reliable background downloading for 3 years.

    • Download speed seems to slow down unexpectedly
I expect my office to receive the file as fast as my local Wifi network can manage (i.e. at least one photo per second)
Instead, it looks more like a photo every 10-20 s

I agree with Creative cloud being finally compatible - I want to have these photos ready to change it as soon as POSSIBLE.

This seems almost reasonable if LR Mobile Download the full resolution of iCloud photo library, then re - download to CC and then download to the desktop.  Almost.
Download my internet connection usually at 50Mbps speed tests / 10 Mbps upload.

But add the speed of slow synchronization as well as the synchronization does not not in background, and it's kind of a show stopper.

I like the idea of having my phone automatically synchronize with LR Desktop.  The magical promise sounds so much better than to have to remember to manually import photos; However, in practice, creative cloud synchronization does not seem to work pretty well.

    Hi Bryanc,

    Thanks for the detailed thread.

I think the problem is the lack of space on your Phone.Check how much space looms as being available in Lr App.

It is planned to Lr mobile to take a maximum of 10 dry to synchronize each image that it's the full Res DNG(if opted) sync.

  • Lightroom Mobile Sync "buffer"?

Hello, could someone tell me if there is a limit to the number of photos uploaded from LR Mobile until they have to be downloaded on the desktop from LR?

Reason for the question is that I created a collection on LR - M 188 images that I downloaded to my iPad Pro of the camera via wifi.  44 images synced to the cloud, then the process stopped, with a meaasge showing "144 images in waiting".  This remained the same during most of the day until what I connected to LR - D on my Macbook Pro.  The collection began to download on the Office of Lightroom and hey-presto, after about 50 images were downloaded, the rest of the collection started to redownload of the iPad.

I know that synchronization betweem LR - M and LR - D does not have my Adobe cloud storage, but I guess that it goes without saying that there will be a limit storage for synchronization.  After all, the cloud is really used as an "intermediary" in this case rather than a storage medium?

can someone clarify if indeed should not be connected to the two applications (desktop and mobile) for a large collection, mobile home fully synchronize?

either way, I discovered this problem when I tried to access the images from the collection in Adobe spark Page (aka Slate).  The collection was not visible in Slate, although other previous collections have been.  I guess it's because he was not fully synchronized?  If so, this is a problem.  If I want to come from a large collection on the ground and immediately start using it to create presentations of Spark, does that mean I have to have my desktop version of Lightroom running back to the base so that the collection of synchronize completely before I can access it in Spark?  This could be a problem during a trip of several weeks.

It was maybe just a connection problem, especially if via 3G or 4G instead of WiFi.

I suggest trying sync again, until everything is updated.

Either incidentally if you never synchronize a collection of the Macbook Pro to your device, creating smart insights in the library can speed up sync.

  • How to prevent Lightroom Mobile sync'ing videos

Since the latest iOS update for Mobile with Lightroom, it now automatically sync videos. I have it set to sync my roll automatically as I want to transfer the photos automatically. I don't want to sync videos.

I can't find any setting to remove the video sync'ing. No one knows how to do.

It is true, that the setting applies to photos and video.

Once arrived at LrDesktop, you can always delete the catalog.

  • Lightroom is not synchronize properly with Lightroom Mobile on both iPad and iPhone

Goal: Synch all Macbook for iPad and iPhone, enable editing offline for all on both devices.

Mac is: MacBook Air 13 "(mi-2013) OSX 10.10.3." Lightroom is Creative cloud version 5.7.1.

Lightroom shows 8346 synched collections 5r photos

iPad: iOS iPad Mini 2 8.3 Lightroom is v1.3.2

Lightroom is 8346 synched photos 57 collections. 55 collections don't do them no pictures

General | use shows that Lightroom uses 11.6 GB

iPhone: iPhone 5 iOS 8.3 Lightroom is v1.3.2

Lightroom has 57 collections. 19 don't show all the box with the arrow pointing downwards. I asked to activate the edition offline on a collection a week ago. It is now downloading 301 of 757 to this collection.

General | Use shows that Lightroom uses 3.9 GB

Lightroom online seems to have photos (do not see a way to get a number of photos or collections)

I've seen in a post beginning to delete a file the user / {user} / Library/Caches/Adobe - this file does not exist.

We have Lr Mobile version 1.4 comes out. We think that should fix your problem with this version. Let me know how it works. -Guido

  • How-to: disable permanently Lightroom mobile sync, so I'm not asked about each catalog to create?

Every time I have create a new catalog, I wonder whether or not I want to keep the Active Sync feature (default: enabled).

When I click to turn it off and apply, he seized my mouse pointer and take it at the edge of the screen.

I do not use this feature. Not at all. Never. It to say, it's boring as hell. What's happening on each. new. creation catalog...

I also do not approve of a program / Picture Manager Editor seizing my mouse pointer and take it anywhere.

How can I say this 'feature' to look for greener pastures at all times?

    Peut I even do that?

Just sign in and then cut the Sync - under the identity plate. I think it should be. You enable actually as a catalog, which means that your installation of Lr records he is already a catalog synchronized.

If you want to use Lr Mobile then you need to enable synchronization under the identity plate and synchronization with this catalogue.

In addition, the catalogue 600000 is perfectly manageable. I don't see any value in fragmenting the image control.

  • Can lightroom mobile sync to two versions of office above cc?

I use an imac at home, a laptop on the road and a mini ipad.  Currently, I'm home for cc desktop synchronization but I'd like to find a way to easily sync the laptop for her. I would like to not have to use dropbox or another service of Cloud Computing to store my files, and it seems to me that cc should be able to do this.

Synchronization is related to your account, the devices are not specific. It's just notoriously little reliable, this is why it never works. Dropbox or another service is the way to go.
