Lightroom whitens photos during export

2 months ago LR whitens 25% of my photos when you export.  I used it for years, without error. If this continues, I'll get a new program.  Someone at - it a fix or know when Adobe will fix this very time consuming mistake?

Everything is up-to-date.

In fact, you are on CC 2015.1, which is many months expired.  (The CC desktop application is not great about to keep things up-to-date).

The "export white" bug has been fixed in 2015.1.1 CC.  The latest version is 2015.2.1 CC, but you certainly don't want to take the risk of upgrading to that, it is since no end of trouble for users of a lot, a lot (for which Adobe has humbly apologized: http://blogs.adobe.com/lightroomjournal/2015/10/lightroom-6-2-release-update-and-apology.h tml).

Instead, I recommend the manual update of CC 2015.1.1, the latest stable version, which you can do by downloading the 6.1.1 / 2015.1.1 updated from here: Download Photoshop Lightroom.

Could you please open the image once in Photoshop and see if it still shows blurry.

Please also export the image once without checking the option "resize to the Fit.

  • Lightroom 6/CC, add noise during export?

    Hi all

    Since the update to LR6/CC, I noticed that eexported images seem to significantly louder that the Lightroom develop overview, patient with me because it is difficult to explain;

I export in sRGB JPG, adding no compression by means of limiting the file size/affect the quality of the image and add no sharpening, yet the exported images look so loud as they should.

To combat the problem, I would add 30 Luminance in before the export noise reduction - which makes the images look much too smooth and obviously reduced the noise in Lightroom, and yet the exported JPG looks like the forecast develop did before adding... weird noise reduction.

Everyone knows this and know a way around which is not to add before the Luminance export?

    Thank you!

A by-side screenshot showing the view to point to 100% / 1:1 zoom and the exported JPG, also at the 100% zoom would be useful so understand if there is actually a difference or if it's the preview that shows a difference.

  • How to use Lightroom with Photos Apple?

I just purchased Lightroom CC and I can't find my photos I use Apple Photos app to store them all. I have a mixture of photos from the iPhone as well as high quality JPEG files and my Nikon RAW files. I use pictures to import what I use and pay for icloud, so I can access all my photos on my iPhone and iPad and my MacBook. I also save them automatically to Dropbox.

I've got about 2200 photos to about 28 GB. Do I need to transfer all out of Photos Apple? I am very confused on how to proceed.

    Rob

First of all, you don't want to use BOTH at the same time, it is because the programs don't speak to another, and so whatever you do in one program is unknown to the other program. Basically, it would be twice as much work, but not twice the advantage and also opens the possibility of creating confusion.

You want to choose a program and use it as your software "organize" and also as your software to 'change '. Which one you choose is up to you.

To transfer photos to Photos in Lightroom, you need to export your images of Photos to a location on the hard drive and then then import them into Lightoom.

(Photoshop elements is installed on both computers).

This is a typical and very common requirement.

The solution is to store your media library as well as your catalog on an external drive.

You can connect the external drive on both computers alternately. The performance is very good.

One way to make the transfer is to use the backup / restore process:

    https://helpx.Adobe.com/Photoshop-elements/KB/backup-restore-move-catalog-Photoshop.html

This is the same process to an external drive or another computer.

    Edit:

Make sure that the external drive is recognized by the same drive letter.

  • Lightroom stack photo original back to lightroom when you have finished editing in photoshop

Hi, hope someone can help you.

My lightroom is not broken, just an unfortunate thing that happens.

When I used to edit in photoshop, I'd end up, photoshop would ask if I wanted to save, I would, so when I went back to lightroom, the photo was there beside the original raw (tiff format).

Now, it does not show up in lightroom.

I can get the tiff into lightroom to import, in the folder where is the origin and import raw file.

I checked under settings, and the 'stack with original"is checked.

Just wondering if I had messed up a setting somewhere.

    Thanks for your help

    Paul

    Thanks for your help 007.

I work, I reinstalled lightroom and it was always the same, no re-imports of retouched.

So here's what I did. I changed the file type when editing photoshop for PSD (in preferences), and it worked. So I changed it to TIFF and who now also works.

    See you soon

  • Is it possible to tell lightroom to just re - export the previously exported files?

Shooting a celebration (Park, mass and left), went home and process raw files in Lightroom, exported in 3 files.

Then I went to edit the files in photoshop, first record, which consisted of the Park went well. Files is superb, even after compress them again.

Then place were pictures of the mass, and that's where everything went down hill. When I loaded up the first image, it has been compressed to to hell all black areas were all pixelated, so I went in lightroom and of course it changed the quality of 100% up to 60%!

All my other settings are the same, so I don't accidentally reset the whole thing. Don't know why or how Lightroom did it, I got it on 100% for the last 2 years!

Now I have to export them all over again, the problem is there was 800 that I pulled down to only 150. I don't want really to hand pick them all over again.

Is it possible to tell lightroom to just re - export the previously exported files?

    The short answer: No.

Lightroom remembers files imported recently in a collection, but remember recently exported files.

That said, you can use the plugin (free, by me) SQLiteroom to assemble a collection of * all * files, which could help exported.

For me it loads instantly on Mac as an application as well. The slides appear automatically, without, I must hit the 'play' button. You can go to preferences - beginning and end and check - Auto Play. If you want to reduce the loading time, choose the Preloader option and reduce to 20 about and republish.

  • Always get horizontal lines on video during export to 720 x 480 AVI with "Deinterlace" turned on

    Professional Hello again fine,

    I use 6 first on a Windows 7 computer.

I always get horizontal lines in my video during export to AVI 720 x 480, even with "Deinterlace" lit.

I had a doubt on another thread and said robodog2 that it is interlaced with the lines of the file are not displayed when you use a selection of progressive export file...

    http://forums.Adobe.com/thread/852077

So I found the box "Deinterlace" via "chronology of export > movie > settings > special treatment > Modify > deinterlace ', but if I have this box checked, I still have horizontal lines.

Here are the screenshots of the same base video before importing them in at first for an effect reverse, and after I saved the resulting file 720 x 480 AVI... the final file appears with the same horizontal lines if yes or no deinterlacing is checked.

Lines are more visible when viewing the video in Windows Media Player they appear in these screenshots below... the lines have in fact characteristics of edge in the public eye.  The lines look like an old used TV sometimes when the antenna was not getting good reception.  Also, I am saving successfully the "chronology of export > movie" path with different codecs (this is no longer a file generated from the preview, I was talking about in the previous thread on this)... so I'm sure all the parameters with this version and I get this result with three different codecs, with and without the "Deinterlace" checked... I had the same experience over and over yesterday evening while he was also working with another file.

No one knows what is the cause?... Please see the pictures below

    Thank you

Horizontal lines showing in this first 6, 720 x 480, 30 fps AVI file

    PremiereEXPORTED720x480avi_horizontalLINES.jpg

    Hi David,

Yes, I finally solve this problem, based on a chance observation on another forum.  On another forum a guy once mentioned the setting ' NONE FRAME ' in the 'Record Options' in the dialog "Export movie" when I export my movie to an AVI file, as seen in my screen shot below.  Otherwise, I think that setting was failing to "FIRST FRAME ABOVE".

For the most part, I was getting these terrible horizontal lines when I exported the graphic effects that I created with imported Photoshop layers in my film projects... in these kinds of exports that horizontal lines were much worse and more obvious that if I was just export a project with the actual video that I had imported in my project.

But still, even with the imported video, as examples of images that I posted on this thread, even in this case I saw the horizontal lines.

So one guy on another forum said something about "ANY FRAME" setting in my export dialog box.  It relates to something else about deinterlacing it is better for this problem as the "FIRST FRAME SUPERIOR" or "FIRST FRAME BELOW" settings.

As can be seen in my screenshot below, which is the setting I talk, but I was using the old 6 first of 1999all about, and options in the new versions of first export dialog are different.  The guy on the other forum that mentions that setting, that eventually solved my problem, said that the adjustment did not differ in a newer version of first he used, but I found this setting in my dialog "Export movie" , and that solved the problem.

It was so simple and I went by so many things to try to solve it, including my files running through other apps to try to pre empt the problem and none of it worked... He just turns out to be THAT simple adjustment "ANY FIELD" and that solved the whole problem.

First 6 and some newer versions of first, seem to have other problems, such as the creation of an oblong shape, rotation image from a round graph-shaped eggs after importation and applying an effect of rotation, but otherwise, once I realized that the solution of horizontal lines, I did pretty well understand many things in this former first and I got pretty good results.

    Viel Glück!
