limits of the JSFL script element

When I try to get the bounds of the element, element.width, element.left as well as element.top and element.height return the wildly incorrect numbers in JSFL scripts

Thanks for sharing files. This seems to be a problem and we followed this bug internally for investigation.

Thank you!

  • Limitation of the App Scripts? By volume by number of invocations or calls...

    I have a situation where I'm going to an auto attendant script with several menus and according to the chosen option, it will redirect you to the appropriate Department Routepoint. Also, the caller can call the local/long distance number that is mapped to the RPs to the Department or the Routepoint itself (for most of the internal people).

    Each RP has a queue associated with. The flow of calls for all RPS is exactly the same. The only variation in the script is voicemail ext, name of the queue of the Department, guests etc. I can create a script, set all variables and when downloading in CRS Admin, can assign values to the parameters.

    My question is, does the script no limitation in terms of number of calls they can handle? Which means, if I have a script to assign different parameters and if several callers call different departments, the same will triggered with different values of parameters of script, but it will crash after "x" number of calls or 'x' number of invocations?

    Any ideas would be useful. Otherwise, I can copy the same script, rename and associate with his RP of the Department but if I make a change in one place, I have to change in other locations. My goal is to reuse code, to reduce to a minimum the number of scripts and create a single sophisticated script.

    Thanks in advance for your comments.

    Sunil,

    This should not be a problem. The only issue you might encounter would be with regard to the preparation of reports. You want to make sure that you are defining your types of appeal, after defining the routing logic you so that you can report on calls to every other Department.

  • Adapt the JSFL Scripts useful for animating/canvas

    As a programmer who likes to automate many I have used/made a lot for Flash jsfl scripts in the past.

    Some new users do not know that these scripts can be easily adapted for Javascript/canvas.

    For example:

    With a selected calendar, try this:

    /*

    * [KC] Add stop frames

    * By Kevin Cao (http://kevincao.com)

    * 2005.6.19

    */

    Insert keyframes with a shutdown command in each image selection

    var dom = fl.getDocumentDOM)

    var timeline = dom.getTimeline)

    var selection = timeline.getSelectedFrames)

    var numSelections = selections.length

    for (s = 0; s < numSelections; s += 3)

    {

    cLayer = selections [s]

    startFrame = selections [s + 1]

    endFrame = selections [s + 2]

    timeline.setSelectedFrames([cLayer,startFrame,endFrame],true);

    timeline.convertToKeyframes ();

    for (f = startFrame; f < endFrame; ++ f)

    {

    Timeline.Layers [cLayer] .frames [f]. ActionScript = "this.stop ();";

    }

    }

    JSFL doesn't care if you use actionScript 'real '.

    Thought that may be useful.

  • What is the limitation of the number of elements in the one-dimensional array objects?

  • Can I use the .jsx scripts that use with CS6 with Photoshop Elements?

    I have a series of scripts I use at work and have access to Photoshop CS6. I have Photoshop elements 12 at home and I wonder if I can use the same scripts.

    Thanks for any help!

    You can run the same scripts in ESP 12, but they can not work if they use functions is not only pse 12.

    You can test using file > Open in EPS 12 and then choose the script.

    Since 12 PES doesn't have a file > Scripts menu, but uses the file > menu instead, automation tools then you might need to modify the script (javascriptresource) to only show the menu of automation tools.

    Or save some actions which are pointing to the script (s)

  • How to move the ends of the lines slanted towards the limits of the purge

    Hi all

    I developed a script that deletes the page elements to the purge. To achieve this, that I collect all the elements of the page (with the exception of text blocks) located partially on the editing table, create a temporary mask and 'trim' with subtraction of Pathfinder function. However, this approach does not work with graphic lines so I'm trying to move the ends of the lines to the limits of the substantive area lost. (I guess these are simple straight lines consisting of two end points).

    screengrab.png

    I knew how to deal with orthogonal lines - it's pretty easy:

    if (theItem.constructor.name == "GraphicLine" && theItem.paths.length === 1) {
         path = theItem.paths[0];
         if (path.pathPoints.length === 2) {
              ep = path.entirePath;
              w = ep[1][0]-ep[0][0];
              h = ep[1][1]-ep[0 ][1];

              if (w > h) {
                   newEp = [ [ spreadWithBleedBounds[1], ep[0][1] ], [ spreadWithBleedBounds[3], ep[1][1] ] ];
                   path.entirePath = newEp;
              }
              else if (h > w) {
                   newEp = [ [ ep[0][0], spreadWithBleedBounds[0] ], [ ep[1][0], spreadWithBleedBounds[2] ] ];
                   path.entirePath = newEp;
              }
         }
    }

    This moves A1 - A2, B1 , B2, C1 , C2, D1 to D2.

    But how to treat skewed lines? How to calculate the coordinates of the point E2 and F2? Y at - it a magic formula? Or can someone point me to the right direction: for example a book to read?

    I assume this has something to do with geometry/trigonometry, but I haven't studied this kind of things at school. (I graduated from an art school - designed to draw naked models instead).

    If someone will answer my question, please do it on basic level since I'm a total noob in the present.

    Kasyan

    Hi Kasyan!

    I was not trying to integrate this into your script, so you may need to adjust a little. The trick is to define a function that detects the point of intersection of two lines - and, of course, you must call it for lines that will not fail to cross the border of the page! (Otherwise, it would simply expand * any * the line upward and on the border.)

    I think it would be wise to predict a small mistake for lines that seem to run "up to" the edge of the page - I tested a line for 'x '.<= 0"="" on="" a="" line="" that="" appeared="" to="" start="" on="" 0;="" the="" control="" panel="" told="" me="" so.="" however,="" i="" didn't="" type="" that="" 0="" in;="" i="" dragged="" the="" line="" to="" the="" edge.="" apparently,="" it="" was="" *not*="" at="" precisely="" "0mm",="" but="" something="" like="" "0.001mm",="" because="" the="" script="" simply="" didn't="" "see"="" the="">

    My function comes from this page: http://local.wasp.uwa.edu.au/~pbourke/geometry/lineline2d/ and I did not test it does of orthogonal lines

    (but of course, you could add this in exceptional cases), and it's my script extending the line, with a small wrapper to configure things.

    The function tests * any * tail against * any * other line, so if we meet the page bounding box, I get the intersection with the purge of the side area where it crosses the bbox page.

    line = app.selection[0];
    // pg size in "regular" [y1,x1, y2,x2] format
    pagebbox = [0,0, app.activeDocument.documentPreferences.pageHeight,app.activeDocument.documentPreferences.pageWidth ];
    bleedDist = 5; //
    bleedbbox = [ pagebbox[0] - bleedDist, pagebbox[1] - bleedDist, pagebbox[2] + bleedDist, pagebbox[3] + bleedDist ];

  • How to use table 1 d of waveform in the Matlab Script

    I use Lavbiew to make the classification of Vibration signal.

    The first problem I encountered is the form of incorrect data.

    The output signals are 1 d arrary of waveform. I don't know how to use the Matlab Script.

    is someone can help me with this?

    I really appreciate your help.

    Hey beauzhang,

    I hope that you are well today. It certainly seems that we lack in some problems with the different sources and data types of wells. LVM VI Express load you have emerged from a table of waveforms. So we would need to do a few things. First of all, we need to ignore the range of interests, and we must get the waveform data elements table.

    I have provided an example of how we can extract the waveform in position 0 of the table and then pass the array of data values to the script node Y. I have configured the entry of the data of a table 1 d Reals node (by adding an entry and then the right of entry and select choose data type.)

    If you are interested in getting the values Y and build the table like you did in the script, you need to implement a different subset of table and looping mechanism in LabVIEW code to move each item to the script individually. However, I would recommend working with the entry level instead.

    I hope this helps!

  • How to get the index of element of constant of cluster

    Is it possible to programmatically determine the index (order) of a particular item in a constant of cluster (typedef)?  The cluster is a group of commands, using the control [] array is not an option.

    It seems that this would be an operation of property, but as there are a no "references" for control objects (is there?), there is no properties of control objects.  I use clusters of risk much.  I struggled with the same problem trying to retrieve cluster of clusters of control element names (all roads lead to OpenG :-) don't want to install VIPM :-().

    I use a digital video recorder with a bunch of berries to share data between an application and use in the structures of the element of the Place to read/write tables. Each table (all the bool or slna) represents an array of values to write to the output of the modules (digital and analog).  Usually I only update tables in a loop and read in several screws/loops.

    From the beginning, I stored the data in table form, but later in development, I created typedefs of cluster for clarity when using the data in a FP VI (especially when you read the data in the table and the display on the indicators).

    The exception to the rule of write-once/read many is when I just want to set or clear a single bit BOOL.

    Attached is a picture showing 2 ways to do the same.

    The structure of the DVR read/write on the RIGHT illustrates how I currently updating a single element of an array of BOOL.  In particular, I want to bit - 2 a table named "bOutputCmds".  [bOutputCmds] is an element of a group named "IoCluster" and the "IoCluster" shared across the application by a DVR named 'IoDataRef '.  Safe to update the value of the wick requires 3 operation in Place (in Place DVR R/W in Place unbundle and in square array Index).

    It works very well.  However, the operation requires specifying the index of the little interest, in this case, "2".  I could assign constants for all the special bits, but it would seem more appropriate to enjoy for typedefs that I created. Typedefs allow me to make changes to assignments of IO and describe the configuration in one place.  DVR R/W element on the LEFT illustrates a way to update a single bit (safely) a cluster element name.

    Retrieve the index of the "bLoadEna" item (2) of the typedef of cluster used on the LEFT would make the solution on the much cleaner RIGHT.

    My backup is to replace all the paintings that I originally put in the cluster shared with the individual clusters later I so carefully set or replace all command non - clusters with clusters of the indicator. Or the other works perfectly. For the most part, I'm technically curious because I tend to bang against the limitations of the control clusters quite often.  I seem to be a programmer of NON-INTERFACE in a world of the user interface.

    In fact, my last statement was rhetorical, but it is really quite real.  My request is a controller shipped without a head, so I don't no need or use many controls.  Maybe I should think about some before picking on clusters of risk...

    Fact.

    Thank you

    Peter

    Therefore I don't see the placeholder to correct the link. How can I fix this, or at least manage the display of the placeholder.

    Concerning

    I don't think the resources without the dDocName specification will work (for example [!-$wcmUrl ('resource', ")-]).

    At some point, the code path probably leaves the SiteStudio component and goes back to the core code WebCenter content to fetch the revision. It seems that it is where he meets a problem (impossible to find the last out for review).

    If you turn on additional detailed complete tracking for site *, file * and system * this gives you a clues?

  • How to enable the Java Script function in APEX 4.2.6 running on the result of an Xquery query.

    How to take a SQL query result in the source section of an APEX "agenda of the page" field and allow this request to be formatted using XML in an HTML format for a Java Script file to perform a function on the result?

    Currently I have the following text:

    To query the DB table and format the result as HTML:

    SELECT XMLELEMENT ("UL id ="ticker01"', XMLAGG (XMLFOREST (Scroll_Mess AS LI))") "item UL' OF Web_Ticker where Mess_Id < 10 order by Mess_Id;

    That displays the following:

    < UL id = "ticker01" > < LI > HELLO < /LI > < LI > HELLO < /LI > < /UL id = "ticker01" >

    I need the output of this to be visible to a JScript function that is currently called the "head of page", but there doesn't seem to be its scope? The function works correctly if there is a list in the page field items 'Text element Pre' but does not work correctly when used in conjunction with the query to generate a table form.

    If everyone is happy to help I would be grateful .

    James.

    Solved!

    In order for the request to be part of the DOM of the page of the APEX, the Java Script allows to perform its function on the result marked "HTML" to query, you must set page of the apex on which the query resides and then add the inner text of this page to a second variable for which the function of web ticker can run on as follows:

    $(function() {})

    var x = $("#P9_TICKER_DATA");

    var y = x [0] .innerText;

    x.Append (y);

    $("UL#ticker01").liScroll ();

    });

    From there, on the Java script is able to properly see the result of the query in HTML format.

  • How to assign the value to the application-level element

    Hello

    I'm learning to APEX.  I use version 4.2.6.

    My question is, I set a text field called 'FINANCIAL_YEAR' in the login page.  I wanted to know how to assign this value to a text element of Application level (on page sent), so that I can get this value through at my request.

    Thank you

    Yes, I created a 'text area' under 'HTML' in the 'Home' page  Who accepts the exercise of a table through LOV.  I intend to assign this value to a global variable so that this variable can be read in any of the application to filter the result set from different tables (not yet built the rest of the application).  To do this, I was intending to use "Shared components"-> "Elements of Application".  I'm still not quite sure how it works.

    Start by reading the documentation on elements of application.

    Go to the shared components > Application parts and create your G_FINANCIAL_YEAR item. Value Session State Protection Restricted - can not be set the browser so that the value is not editable by the user, falsification of URLS or scripts.

    On the home page, if there is not already a button to submit the value of the fiscal year, add one in the HTML area, with the Action as a submit Pageclick. Otherwise, you can do without the button and using submit Page in Page Action when the changed value select the parameter in the list so he can undergo.

    Then, in the section of the Page processing, create a calculation:

    Point Type: Application-level element

    Calculate Item: Application: G_FINANCIAL_YEAR

    Point calculation: After submit

    Type of calculation: Value of the element

    Calculation:

    Run the application, select a value in the list of the fiscal year and submit the page. Review of current session state in the viewer of session state by clicking on the link of Session in the toolbar developer. Select the Elements of Application in the view list, and then click set. The element of your application and its current value must be visible. You can now reference value throughout your application by using the appropriate syntax.

    You should also consider if a default value (for example the current year) using a calculation Application from the point of calculation on the new Instance and coordinate the application point and part of the homepage using point application as the Source of value or an expression with Source page element, the value always, replacement of value that exists in the session state.

  • Import Photoshop files (PSD) for Animate (Flash) via JSFL scripts

    Hello

    I want to automate the workflow we have including import psd files in Animate (Flash)-> make a few changes on the content > export swf.  The last part (-> to make some changes on the content > export swf) is already automated, the only thing left is to import psd files. The problem is that every time you import a psd file, you are invited to a window where you must enter the preferences how you want to import a psd. Exactly, this window is the problem, we must always change preferences and confirm the changes by hand. Is it somehow possible to set preferences for psd import by jsfl script and avoid the window preferably?

    Thank you.

    Yes, assign the boolean false dialogue show in the importFile method.

  • The management of the audio tracks is limited in the trial versions?

    I am evaluating a trial version of Adobe first 14 elements and found that available to the audio tracks in the timeline panel and method of adjusting the audio volume, are totally different from the description in the manual. Anyone know if this is just a limitation of the trial version? Or it looks like there is a problem with my software?

    No limit, only a watermark on export.
