  I recently migrated my Flex 3.2 to 4.5 Flex application. I use a few cards in my application. I noticed a strange problem when I run my application with Flex 4.5. The legend of my piechart is not visible. The text is visible but the colors beside the text is invisible. The application works fine in Flex 3. Can someone help me in this regard.

  in any case, I got the answer. My legend appeared once I commented SeriesInterpolate I used as an effect to the pie chart. Need to check how it works in Flex 4.5.

  Means generally that you're trying to work on a layer locked.

  I have no use for the each data point = function node on my chart, and I suspect that's the reason why in my application performance is very poor. I have a line chart which can be composed of several hundreds, or even thousands, individual data points----> I can not afford to draw a node for each of these points when he didn't need to do. I just need the line between the drawn points.

  I noticed that we can accept, reject and hint captions to individual moving targets. When I tested it, I Accept and indication of the legends as expected. But I don't get the legend to reject even when I place the wrong source on the target.

  What I am doing wrong?

  Dismiss the legend appears when an unacceptable source fell on a target. To configure the "acceptance criteria", select a drop target, click on 'Accept' button, deselect the checkbox corresponding to the unacceptable source. (As shown below)

  

  Now each time the drop source user 'Unaccept' on top of the target, the legend of "Reject" will appear.

• synchronization of a listbox and a chart legend

  Hi all

  I'm working on a code where I would be able to select/deselect 50 locations on a XY Chart.  Due to the relatively large number of field names, it makes sense to place them in a scrolling caption or listbox.

  Problem is (AFAIK), the legend of the parcel can not be used to * easily * plots do disappear and appear with a single click - must right click, go to colors and select transparent, etc. and then reverse the procedure to return the plot.

  An alternative might be to use a list box 10 long lines as main indicator, then use some of its properties to create a dynamic chart borrowed from a second hidden chart legend.  This legend of the plot to reconfigure its colors of dynamic line/symbol based on where the user is in the scrolling list box.

  A problem I encountered is that the Label.ScrollPosition property is not going to write an indicator for me.  See the code example.

  Top row provides comments in the list box, but not enough information to do the job properly.

  Any thoughts?

  There is a simple XY Chart with legend on attacched photo; in the legend, the index display is visible. I would like to read the index by a knot of property or something like that, but I'm not able to find the appropriate property node or a way to do it programmatically in my VI.

  Hi Antonio,.

  I don't think that display index legend could be used in such a way, because the index in legend display helps us tell what index plot the legend is not as input. Maybe using a table / control ring containing the name of the parcel could help you achieve the same result. Here, I have attached an example for you. Hope this helps.

  Welcome to the forums.

  I'm guessing that you don't know how to use the insert of Code button.  If you look at the top of the editing window, you will see a number of options for formatting such as police.  Look to the right and there are two buttons, one is used to insert the code.  Hover over the buttons and you will see a description.  Press the button insert the Code, add your code and you will see something like the following:

  I think it's the routine that you use to draw each line of your drop...

  I recommend that move you as much code as you can out of this method.  It's called very often.  Creating a Butmap here, which is an expensive operation, is not a good idea, especially when the Bitmap image in reality does not change.  So create once and use it in the drawListRow.

  Also use the parameters that are passed.  The width you have to paint is given in the parameter, and perhaps not the same as the actual display width.

  In any case, this code draws the Bitmap to (0, 0).  I susspect should be at (0, y).  This could explain why it is not drawn correctly.  You seem to have a similar problem with the text.

  The drawListRow is assigned a value of 'y' and should paint from y to y + listField.getRowHeight ().  But in fact drawListRow has access to the area of the entire painting, so can do too much else.  You must code your method correctly to get good results in your list.

  Hope this helps, if not, please post your code so we can actually read.  In fact, as I say to others, do not post your real code.  Create a simple example that we can run illustrating your problem.  Then everything can run your example and see the problem.  Never stick all your code.  People are put off by the number of lines of code.

• Help with the line chart

  I created a line chart in Illustrator CS3.  Everything is great, except that I need to change the colors of the lines.  There are two lines total.  I can't select just one line to change the color.  When I use the white arrow selection tool he will choose only a point-by-point and not the whole line.

  If I use the black arrow selection tool then selects all of the chart.

  It's fine even if you have a selected point you can change the color of the line, make sure you change the color of the outline, not the color of the file.

  If you want to be treated and have all selected Bézier points (or select all lines in a group), hold the option key and click with the hollow tool to select all Bézier points. Option click again to select multiple levels within the group. The result will be the same whether in the postscript file produced Illustrator.

  The default value is object that will play not well what attributes. XML would work too, but e4x extends with a few useful shortcuts.
