link bean variable question in jsff

Hi friends,

JDeveloper 11.1.1.7.0

I have a table in jsff 1 with all the records in a view and a button 'detail' in each line that leads to the jsff 2 which shows the details of the line only slected with editable fields.

One of the fields (select one choice) in the form of jsff 2 has a variable bean (pageflowscope) of support.

When I click on details and change the value in the variable soc said above and return to the table view without even commit. Now when I select another record and go to the detail view, it shows the value of the COS says higher than the value selected in the previous step.

Ideas please

Hello

If you store the value in the flowrate range of page, the value will live until you leave the workflow. Try using a smaller range, or reset the value when you enter the fragment or just before leaving fragment2.

Kind regards

Ruben.

  • How to call the bean support just after JSFF / fragment of page loads?

    Hello

    I have a simple requirement - call the Backing Bean method for my page-fragment AFTER that its loading. The JSFF is delimited to the workflow.

    I tried the solution given here: http://fortunefusionminds.blogspot.com.au/2013/04/how-to-invoke-backing-bean-method-right.html but it does not work for me.

    Every time I tried to access any link layer (i.e. the PanelFormLayout DepartmentId) attribute/property within the refreshRegion method below gives NullPointerException.

    My DepartmentId property is exposed to the Backing Bean by using the Bindings property in the property inspector.

    @Override

    {} public boolean refreshRegion (RegionContext regionContext)

    int refreshFlag = regionContext.getRefreshFlag ();

    if(refreshFlag == RegionBinding.PREPARE_MODEL) {}

    System.out.println (getDepartmentId.GetValue ())

    }

    regionContext.getRegionBinding (.refresh (refreshFlag));

    Returns false;

    }

    {} public void setDepartmentId (RichInputText departmentId)

    this.departmentId = departmentId;

    }

    public RichInputText getDepartmentId() {}

    return departmentId.

    }

    Any help please?

    Thank you

    Hi all

    Here's how it works for me.

    1. in your backing bean create property & its get accessor for afterPageLoad as below. We don't need a setter method.

    private; channel afterPageLoad

    public String getAfterPageLoad() {}

    If (!.) {AdfFacesContext.getCurrentInstance.isPostBack ()}

    initPage();

    }

    Return afterPageLoad;

    }

    private void initPage() {}

    System.out.Print ("I'm initPage() and called exactly once");

    }

    2. create a hidden field to the bottom of your JSFF page as below.

    Thanks - Hitesh

  • DAC 10g: Variable Question

    Hi all

    I have a question on the establishment of a dac setting. If the scenario is as follows:

    We have several plans which runs to complete a fact table, source data from different sources for different EP. All these execution plans have a common task.  This task common relies on informatica mapping that contains different look-up the challenge here is that we are trying to pass a variable in the eyes upward in the map, and this variable/parameter should have a dynamic value based on the running plan.  I know that in DAC 11g, we have the execution level parameters that can be set.  How can this be implemented in DAC 10 g?

    Thank you!

    To resolve this problem, I did the following:

    (1) created a setting in the source system.

    (2) type = SQL and used a SQL query to retrieve the desired value for the variable dynamically in the staging tables of fact.

    Thank you!

    How to pass the value so that when the report is open, this variable will be used.

    I found this on a blog: http://bipconsulting.blogspot.ca/2010/02/drill-down-to-detail-or-another-report.html

    But somehow, his link is quite different from mine.

  • Running header Variable Question

    FrameMaker 11

    I would like to show a hierarchy in the headers of my (manual system) document as a quick reference to the drive location in the document.

    The look I'm going to do is something like this: title 1 > section 2... results by...

    Planning > creating a Plan

    I have inserted variables. Heading 1 is my chapter name and occurs only once in each file. When I get to the section 2... It works very well. But...

    The first pages look like this:

    Planning >

    because the FM has yet to see the first instance of heading 2.

    Question No. 1: Is there a way to 'hide' the arrow (longer than symbol) until there is a second helping of the flat string variable?

    I don't know if this would be considered conditional text? Sorry, my FM vocabulary is rusty. It's been a few years and a few versions I was working regularly in FrameMaker.

    Question 2: Anyone know of an 'arrow' better that I can use (keystrokes of shortcut or ascii) rather than the > character?

    You can see what is happening to the headers running when you move from one page to another:

    3rd & 4th levels always show what was on the previous page! This would be very complicated to your readers.

    What you need to do is at each entrance to top title, also push empty markers for the next levels of reset these to get the following instead:

    It may take a bit of tweaking on certain pages according to the headers are also displayed. But at least you can control this by adding or removing content in the marker (just don't remove markers, since always FM looks backward to the beginning of the flow to satisfy the requested condition and can take the content of the previous sections).

  • How to set the session bean of backing bean variable

    Hi all -

    I have a bean with a session variable and I want to set the value of this variable to a bean of support. Could someone please suggest how to achieve this.

    I use ADF 11 g.

    Greetings-
    Rohit

    Hello

    First of all, you need get the referral of bean in the bean to support session, and call the method that sets the value of the attribute. Getting session bean reference - you can use dependency injection, which is the best way, but you must register your bean in faces-config. XML (not adfc - config.xml, see http://biemond.blogspot.com/2010/04/ejb-injection-in-jsf-managed-bean.html).
    An alternative is to search the session bean's JNDI.
    Third option involves data controls: you create a session bean data control and then expose the method to fix your attribute value, in the calling page to jspx pageDef. To do this, you can't use method that begins with 'set', because you will not be able to exhibit in the pageDef (at least not with the Visual Editor). Then, you can call this method from the bean to support using this code:

            BindingContainer bindings = BindingContext.getCurrent().getCurrentBindingsEntry();
            OperationBinding operationBinding = bindings.getOperationBinding("yourSessionBeanMethodExposedInPageDef");
            operationBinding.execute();

    I hope this helps.

  • problems with the link Date variable

    I am using a Date as a variable binding in a display object, and I'm running into difficulty. I have the binding variable type defined to date and the control flags for the Type of Format and Format defined respectively on 'Date of Simple' and 'yyyy-MM-dd ". However, it seems that the value of the parameter link has actually changed, according to the message issued by the procedure JhsApplicationModuleImpl.applyBindParams (...) debugging:

    30 - Jan 08:46:23 DEBUG (JhsApplicationModuleImpl) - ViewObject ViewObj: bind move_date param value has changed: old value = null, new value = Wed Jan 07 00:00:00 CST 2009

    One thing I noticed that may be of interest - if I run the debugger in the procedure JhsApplicationModuleImpl.applyBindParams (...), a default date in my link variable arises as an object of oracle.jbo.domain.Date when it comes out of the next line:

    Object oldValue = vo.ensureVariableManager () .getVariableValue (key);

    as opposed to the new value that is sent from the input value of the dateField control, which presents itself as a java.util.Date in the following line:

    Object value = args.get (key);

    In the chain of functions leading to the following in the stack trace:

    at java.sql.Date.valueOf(Date.java:104)
    at oracle.jbo.domain.Date.toDate(Date.java:348)
    to oracle.jbo.domain.Date. < init > (Date.java:279)

    It seems that the value of the java.util.Date is converted to a string and then passed to these functions to be turned into a java.sql.Date object. However, depending on the function of java.sql.Date.valueOf (...), it is expected date format "yyyy-mm-dd", by the header comments:
    /**
    Converts the date a string in JDBC escape format to
    * a Date < code > < code > value.
    *
    s @param a String < code > < code > object representing a date in
    * in format "yyyy-mm-dd".
    * @return a java.sql.Date < code > < code > object representing the
    * date
    * @throws IllegalArgumentException if the specified date is not in the
    * Exhaust JDBC date (yyyy-mm-dd) format
    */

    When the input value of the entered dateField control is added as a java.util.Date, the toString() is produce the incorrect date format, that could be seen in the debug output I've included above that says that the binding variable has changed.

    Anyone done this before that can has let me know what Miss me and how to fix it? I have search everywhere on the web, and all the articles I've seen related to bind variables only refer to those of the digital types or string, that are not giving me problems. Same article of "5.9 Using Bind Variables Named" Developer's Guide (http://database.in2p3.fr/doc/oracle/Oracle_Application_Server_10_Release_3/web.1013/b25947/bcquerying009.htm) do not reference using a Date type.

    I had the same problem on a year (using JHeadstart 10.1.3.2.52):

    15 Feb 14:10:31 DEBUG (JhsApplicationModuleImpl) - research component corresponds to the bind param query SubjectenKernPeildatum, value set for 2000-01-01
    ..
    15 Feb 14:10:33 DEBUG (JhsApplicationModuleImpl) - the execution of applyBindParams for BasServiceKern.AdresRollenSubjecten
    15 - Feb 14:10:33 DEBUG (JhsApplicationModuleImpl) - ViewObject AdresRollenSubjecten: bind peildatum param value has changed: old value = null, new value = Sat Jan 01 00:00:00 THIS 2000
    ..
    15 Feb 14:10:33 ERROR (ErrorReportingUtils) - java.lang.IllegalArgumentException
    at java.sql.Date.valueOf(Date.java:104)
    at oracle.jbo.domain.Date.toDate(Date.java:348)

    It appears a java.util.Date is put on the map criteria in the searchBean, this cannot be used as input for a Houston. Bindvariable date.

    My ugly solution was to substitute ' public void applyBindParams (String voUsage, HashMap args)
    in MyProjectApplicationModuleImp (which extends from JhsApplicationModuleImpl of course).
    Check if the value is a java.util.Date, then
    value = new java.sql.Date (((java.util.Date) value) .getTime ());

  • SQL * more substitution vs bind variable question

    Hi all, I am trying to automate some SQL within SQL codes * more script that is triggered by a script .bat, the only parts that change are Dates...

    example:

    create table blah as

    Select * from table

    WHERE DATE between start_date and END_DAY;

    the DATE is a numeric field, YYYYMMDD

    The script runs always at the beginning of a new week, so a Monday, unless a public holiday, then a Tuesday.

    The END_DAY is * always * last Friday and I realized that:

    variable L_FRIDAY char (15);

    Start

    Select to_char (next_day(sysdate-7,'FRIDAY'), 'YYYYMMDD') as Last_Friday in: double L_FRIDAY;

    end;

    /

    The thing is that I get an error when I try to use the binding variable?

    create table blah as

    Select * from table

    WHERE DATE between start_date and: L_FRIDAY;

    Then once I found the end date, I was going to use add_months(L_FRIDAY,-12) for previous 12 months for the start_date...

    When I tried to use a variable Substitution I could just hard code the date, but I can not or do not know how to set the value of this exec to the variable?

    Help!

    :-)

    Basically my research reveals that - Bind variables are not allowed for operations of data definition, use substutions instead of bind variables

    I need an automated way to find the END_DAY which is last Friday and START_DATE that is 12 months before Friday and refer to those in the SQL without errors.

    Or SQL * more bind variable or variable substitution can be DATEs.  The best you can do is set a different type, as a string, representing a date.  A string as June 19, 2015"represents a date, but so strings like 'SYSDATE' and ' SYSDATE - 7', so you can do something like this:

    SET l_friday = ' NEXT_DAY ((SYSDATE-7), 'FRIDAY').

    DEFINE start_date = "ADD_MONTHS (& l_friday, - 12)"

    SELECT & start_date AS t_n

    , & l_friday AS l_f

    OF the double

    ;

    Output (when executed on 25 June 2015):

    L_F T_N

    ----------- -----------

    June 19, 2014 19 June 2015
