• Make Indesign cross link references to the top/above the point of landing?

  The cross-references in InDesign, create interactive hyperlinks that point to a location in the PDF file where the paragraph of targeted destination is just at the top of the page. Often, it's too far - sometimes the text of the paragraph is actually the top of the page, and usually it's partially on the top of the screen.

  When a person follows a link, the text more in sight in the middle of the page has nothing to do with the link they clicked, and the position that matches what they clicked is often partially on the top of the page as if it were scrolled beyond past. From my experience, that it looks like a mistake - they often do not see where they are supposed to begin to read until, in the confusion, they scroll upward a little.

  Is it possible to control this - to make cross-references jump up to a point with a decent amount of padding in the top, so that what am looking for the user appears in good position on the screen?

  After a few tries, I found something that might help to workaround: the "vertical offset" value for the first character in the paragraph destination determines where the new cross reference scroll will land. This could be the break character and could have (invisible) value of offset of baseline in a previous paragraph.

  • Give that first paragraph a positive base offset value is high, and there will be a corresponding filling above the text amount when the incoming scroll lands.
  • Give that first paragraph a very negative base offset value, and it will be pushed up above the top of the screen an equivalent amount.

  In my problem paragraphs that were not yet on the screen when an incoming link landed, their first character (a tab between the paragraph 'bullets and numbers' number and text) acquired somehow a negative change, one above in unrelated paragraph.

  Is the link reference located in project settings to publish the Adobe must match the id of Group of your app?

  Link reference and Bundle ID are 2 very different things... the referral link is defined in the project settings and is used as the URLScheme. This allows you to open the app to help ' link reference: / /... "a hyperlink or similar. Apple signing certificates must match the BundleID item. As a general rule, you will have a file unique mobile Configuration for each application that you manage.

  For your specific problem, I think that you must make sure that the mobile provision file contains the same element bundleID (or app ID) as IPA you created.

  You can create cross-references to anchor points and paragraphs. If you need create an anchor text in new.indd, then use as the target of the cross reference:

  Workbench is the development tool to create LiveCycle ES2 processes.  To sign a PDF file on the server (in an automated way) you need LiveCycle Digital Signatures ES2

  When a digital signature is applied to a PDF document, the full PDF is "signed".  You cannot sign specific pages or sections.

  How sign/block only a few fields in the pdf file

  You can specify 'collections of field' when creating a PDF with Adobe Designer file.  You then associate the field with a particular signature field collection.  When the signature field is signed, the associated field can\will locked.

  When Indesign creates tables of contents, they automatically connect the paragraphs, links point to, so that in an interactive PDF, clicks and prods take the user to this page. Large.

  Is what is not so great that hypertext links / references / jump-links / whatever born behind the scenes within the table of contents seem to be:

  1. .. .be is automatically set to reset the zoom to width full page
  2. .. .not be changed somehow

  Normal cross references keep the level of zoom that the user chose and normal hyperlinks that point to a page in the document have a range of settings on this change of zoom level (if any) must be imposed on the user, which can be set to "inherit zoom".

  How can I set up a table of contents bothering users by resetting their chosen artitrary default zoom level when using the interactive table of content?

  I really hope that I don't have a gap table of content feature Indesign and create all the cross-references manually.

  (edited) So it turns out that you can "expand" a table of contents by copying and pasting - it fills the hyperlinks with links that can be edited (as above), but the auto-update breaks - there are a table of contents, they are just one block from text full of links. (I got different copies mixed up when I thought that the framework that the editable links was also-automatic update)

  Aging out of the links is a red herring, just something to do with the fact that they were on a master page.

  This means that a possible OCD workflow is:

  • Create a table of contents on the pasteboard somewhere.
  • Before finalizing the document, to update the table of contents and alt-do drag the table of contents 'live' creates an editable of 'dead' copy in a suitable place in the document
  • Change the properties of the links links in the 'dead' copy (remember that you can select several hyperlinks at once by holding down the SHIFT key and change things like the Zoom all at once with the hyperlink Options setting from the context menu of hyperlinks).

  Then if you make further changes to the document later, remove the copy dead, update and re - copy the live original and redo the changes to the new copy

  This isn't a bad way - it adds just on the work of a minute, each time you export a PDF file (delete and update TOC, alt drag, shift-select the new batch of.) XXXX links at the bottom of the hyperlinks Panel, > hyperlink, Zoom setting Options > Inherit Zoom, actually).

  Otherwise, you may build manually to a table of contents using cross references, if you want the links to the exact position on the page, not just the top of the appropriate page.

  When you insert an image, the default setting is to move with the text. Select the image, then Format Panel > suits > stay on the Page (the text flows around the picture). Also, try the different settings in the text wrapping to see how the text flows around the image. Who can help.

  The only links that work in 5 Pages are links to a website, the links reference reference (or end) to this note (or notes) or links to a Table of contents of this page page number. Unfortunately, there is no other way to create internal links in a document.

  "'A problem similar to others that have already been posted. I use "Open FPGA VI reference" (whether with a bit file or a VI) and then pass out this VI and in a series of reference face. It works fine until I do any kind of change to say "Open FPGA VI reference" change the references bitfile or, evolution from a bit of a VI file. At this point I broke my son and I end up spending an unnecessary amount of time again in and out links reference to fix the broken wires.  I tried "FPGA host reference for the definition of the type" but this does not solve the problem either. According to LV2009 SP1, it's a bug and it is resolved - but I have LV2009 SP1 installed with module FPGA version 9.0.0 as surely it should work? Maybe I do it? It seemed like a simple idea to pass an autour reference for you to use screw Sub - but it's driving me crazy and wasting time :-(

  I just like to be able to change the use of FPGA new code code recompilation (or choose to return to the old code) without having to recreate a link to all the screws on the host side evertime I do!

  Just to update our users, it seems that after you upgrade to LabVIEW FPGA 2009 SP1 (which fixes this bug), you must double-click 'Reference of VI FPGA open' and uncheck the option "Bind FPGA host reference to the type definition", click OK and then go back in and re - link. This will finally solve the broken wires.

• Best way to type of binding to data typdef queue

  I use 'Get the queue' to create one or more queues of several clusters of formatted data TypeDef. I then want to put these references to queue in a cluster of their own so I can refer to them as necessary in my code. When I change the data types by modifying the corresponding typdefs, I would like to queue references to change accordingly. In other words, I think I need to link references to queue for typedefs of data.  What is the best way to do it?

  By example, if I create a rerences of queue group using name I need to create a cluster of entry with a format that would update that I change my origianl data typedefs. Is this possible and if so, how?

  Perhaps the 'problem' is due to my funny to have a nice cluster "bundle by name" for clarity in my code. I suppose that if I used a table is not a problem. It's not as elegant a solution, but I guess sometimes the elegance is in the eye of the beholder.

  Hello goodwrench70, welcome.

  Internet Explorer 8, the conditions are correct, will run at normal speed. If the browser is slow or if it crashes, it could be a number of possibilities.

  My suggestion would be to first try and launch IE8 in no add-on mode. This will allow us to see if maybe something 3 rd-party is causing the problem.

  1. click on START
  2. click on "programs".
  3. click on "Accessories".
  4. click on "system tools."
  5. click on 'Internet Explorer 8 (no add-on).

  If the browser still runs slowly or crashes, you can place the machine in a clean boot state.

  1. click on START
  2 type "msconfig" (without the quotes) and press enter
  3. go to the "Startup" tab and uncheck all the entries displayed
  4. click on 'Apply' at the bottom right
  5 restart your computer

  If the browser still runs slowly or crashes, you can try using a different browser to see if the problem is systemic, or just with Internet Explorer. Search "Web Browser" in your search engine. There are a number available there.

  If another browser to work properly, then I suggest to uninstall and reinstall Internet Explorer 8. After the reinstallation, I go to Windows Update and download all the updates that are available for IE8.

  With the current configuration of Windows, there is no option to limit the number of windows that can be opened. You can search the 3^rd application using your favorite search engine, which helps you to limit the number of windows that can be opened.

• U2713HM - DVI with max resolution 'snow' on the screen

  I bought a refurbished dell decision-making, a few weeks ago U2713HM monitor. It worked very well with a HDMI connection, but I soon discovered maxes out at 1920 x 1080 HDMI. I swapped the cable DVI - D my second monitor (Dell 2208WFP), which worked well on this screen. When I put the resolution on 27 2560 x 1440 maximum resolution, the entire screen fills with snow. This occurs at any resolution above 1920 x 1080. I tried to take a screen shot to illustrate, but the screenshot appears normally!

  The video card is a nVidia with 2 GB of memory, 760GTX less than a year. It has a DVI-I have the interface.

  I have the latest monitor and video drivers installed and have done the factory reset. Any ideas?

  The U2713HM requires cable DVI - D Dual Link (reference Dell HCX4X), not the DVI - D Single Link cable supplied with the 2208WFP. Contact Customer Service. Give them the order number from Dell Outlet. Tell them that send you the cable HCX4X DVI - D Dual Link.
